Chapter 45
Ash pulled her close and began to kiss the skin of her neck delicately, one hand moving down to cup her breast, squeezing with delight. This was not the time or place—wherever this was—for this. But he was not going to stop.
Feeling the need to go straight to the point, he took himself in one hand and in her standing position, she turned around and arched her back, spreading her legs a little. He went in her, holding her waist tight, moving her forward then backwards with every thrust. The action birthed a groan from him, and he craned his head backwards.
Myan bit her lower lip, she still had a feeling someone was watching them, but this was enjoying every feeling associated with that whatever it was they were doing right now yet, she still held back from moaning.
Ash felt like all of his problems had disappeared as the sweat began to drip down his forehead. His only mission at the moment was to satisfy his woman. He had everything he wanted right at his feet. He continued in that position, his mind warning him he might be boring her, but he was too engaged in the pleasure and the thoughts of pulling out now made him feel like this would end. He tried, he didn't want to come before she did, he wanted her to have it at her peak because it was the least he could do to pay his wife for every shitty thing he had put her through in the last few days.
Like he wanted, it wasn't long before she released, giving in to making pleasure, her eyes welled with tears, it was that good. As soon as he noticed, he increased his own pace and pushed her further back so he could go all the way in.
Even though he had released, he was still on his way when he felt suddenly disconnected. With a flash of a light, he was separated from Myan and was back where he had started, the woods.
The strong pain in his arm was back and he held it tight as if that did anything to stop the venom. His manhood still stood erect. He looked down at it and pulled his pants up to cover his lower nakedness but that did not bring his erection down.
"Myan?" He frowned. He waited, hoping she would appear by his side. He tried to use his powers to see if he could find her presence, closing his eyes tight to see where she was but he got nothing. It dawned on him just then, he was losing his powers and whatever was happening were the side effects from his decision to leave his position. This was not good. He knew exactly where she was, and it was certainly the blocked dream. No one could get out of a blocked dream state without the involvement of strong powers, something that would have been an easy task if he had full control of his powers, but otherwise, she was stuck there.
He looked down at his arm, knowing he had to worry about the venom.
He had to continue his journey. "I'm coming Myan…" he muttered under his breath, resuming his journey.

Asha was tired of crying and was just pacing back and forth the room. The servants had tried to talk to her and make her feel better, but she seemed to have her mind made up and was particular about getting what she wanted, and that was nothing but her husband's presence.
She heard the door to the entrance come open and immediately ran to stand where Minrad was.
"Minrad!" She burst into tears, holding his hands in hers as she scanned him from head to toe to know if she would find any flaws and the bruises, he'd obtained from different angles confirmed his misery.
“Why did you take her Minrad, you knew for sure that Ash wouldn’t allow that…” Asha was wailing as she spoke, squeezing his hands. “You know how much he cares about her; how did you manage to escape his wrath?” She wondered, “do we have to leave before he shows up, I don’t want him to come back here and do anything crazy to you.” She sighed, turning towards the room they occupied, so she could begin packing her things.
Minrad pulled her by her hand, stopping her movements. "Why?"
"Are you crazy? Why not?" Asha stared at him like he had gone mad.
"You think I can't fight him?" Minrad was disappointed that she had no belief in his strength.
"Minrad, this isn't the time to be a hero, he is lord, there's no match to him." She sighed and freed herself from his hold so she could resume packing.
"Not anymore." He halted her steps a second time.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Asha frowned, knowing she would despise his response.
"It simply means, Ash chose to give up his status as lord just so he could save his pretty little thing, and of course, there is no way this world can be left without a lord." Minrad put his hands behind his back and began to pace around.
"What?" Asha gasped, fear taking its place in her eyes.
Minrad held her shoulders, leaned down to kiss her forehead, "I will be initiated tomorrow at the town hall. A delivery bird is leaving notes in every kingdom right now, the world of fire has a new lord, and it's me…"

Ash was almost drained, his strength waving as he took drops from the leaves, panting heavily. By now, his upper arms were completely flushed, and he had black stains, marked all over him. His powers were draining with every second and the venom in his body was not helping.
He knew how well the leaves normally worked and hoped they would react that fast regardless of the time he had wasted.
Wanting to figure out where Myan was and how he could get her, he sat cross legged in the field he was and shut his eyes tight, he was trying to concentrate on using his power of sense that would normally have activated without forcing it.
He took a deep breath in and the veins around his forehead became palpable, consuming him.
A pounding headache reminded him that he was putting so much effort into this and that was one reason not to give up so easily.
With one last struggle, he reopened his eyes to the blank world he had just been intimate with Myan and there she was, kneeling without hope.
She lifted her head from her position and turned to look at him. If she had been worried while he was gone, she wasn't showing it.
"Ash!" She stood to her feet, running to his side with relief. She was fully dressed once more and pulled him into a tight embrace.
"Myan." Ash called back with relief, holding on to her tighter than before. He genuinely wanted to spend an even longer time with her, but he had to stop because his powers were fading faster than he had ever run.
"Quick, hold on to me tight. I need the right amount of focus to get us out of here so we can head back home,” he said, holding both her hands.
Myan did not argue, silence following his words, she hoped he could do as he wanted so the explanations could begin.
Within a twinkle of an eye, with every last strength in him, he shifted into his Aeu that was now grey, the black power fading from it, and the two teleported from the plain world to the forest again.
Ash shifted into his human form as they landed and immediately slipped from Myan's grip, landing on his face.
"Ash…" she swallowed, kneeling by his head and lifting it in her hands so he could use her lap as a pillow.
"It's gone,” he sighed.
"Are we going back to the mountains?" She swallowed a lump in her throat, trying her hardest to hide possible tears that threatened to fall.
"We can't." Ash knew his powers were gone for Minrad to have them, "it will be risky. Forget all that we have there, it's just you and I now."
"Okay." Myan sniffed, knowing she wouldn't be able to hold it in any longer, all of this was her fault whether she liked it or not.
"So, where do we go?" She asked him.

"Sir!" A short man ran into Frost's quarters on full speed, panting heavily.
The heavy lord with his loose hair and hands behind his back turned around to meet the gaze of his worker with a frown, "what is it?"
"The border restrictions have been lifted…" the man announced. Along with a new lord came a new regime, and that could only mean one thing.
"Oh really, has it?" Frost smirked, "send the men in, we leave by midnight,” he said.
