Chapter Forty One: Chasing my mate

As the rain fall heavily. My feet became dirty with red mud.

My white clothes Lay on my body, soaked; revealing every curve of my me.

I ran quickly to Eutis home insearch for Liam.

The muddy water splashes all over my feet and my clothes. Suddenly I lost my balance and fell. My hair and entire body was now covered in red mud.

I got up from muddy road; feeling a throbbing pain within my side from the hard fall and started to move slowly along the road. Until I was finally at Eutis home.

I hid behind a tree and watch to see if Liam was there. I couldn't see him. Eutis house was closed. I could only see the light within one of the room from outside. I continued to watch to see if Liam was there; pressing my body against the hard tree.

"Why isn't he coming out?" I thought, angrily; as I started to cry. Holding my side, still in pain.

I pushed myself backwards, frightenly, away from the tree hearing the loud sound of the thunder and step on my hair that was longer white anymore.

I then saw it was tangled within a wild flower. I bend down quickly; trying to untangle my hair from the wild flower and there I felt a hand place quickly against mine.

I looked up; while the rain showered against my face and there I saw it was Liam.

I looked at him surprisingly. He was soaked as well and his clothes laid on him; showing his muscular body. He removed my hair quickly from the wild flower and pull me from the muddy ground into his arms.

He held me tighly and ran with me. I pressed my face against his body and cried. While he carried me.

I no longer felt the rain against my skin. I removed my face from his body and saw that we were at Rosa house.

"Bang, Bang," he knocked the door.

The door was open. As Rosa saw us she told him to come in quickly.

Soon we were inside.

"What had happened?" Rosa asked Liam, worriedly; as she looked at me, covered in mud, in his arms.

Liam said nothing.

"Come Avery, Rosa called me, let's get you clean up," she said.

I trembled within his arms, cold.

I tried to remove myself from him. But he didn’t let me.

"I'll do it myself," he said to Rosa.

"Take her upstairs, quickly," said Rosa.

Liam took me upstairs; entered my room and went straight into the bathroom. Soon we were both inside of the shower.

He stood behind me as we both stand, removing his entirely clothes, swiftly. Soon he started on removing my clothes.

I just stood there, as still as a post, sadly. Wanting to know what had happened between him and Paisley, tonight.

We both were naked within the shower. He then turned on the shower. And came closer towards my body; pressing his naked body against mine, from behind.

I turned around pushing him away from me.

"I can take a shower on my own, you can leave," I informed him.

He pulled me into his arms, staring within my eyes; while the shower ran behind us.

I turned my face away from, angrily.

Suddenly, I heard his rough voice, said.

"I hate seeing you cry; nor do I want to see you shed, anymore tears."

I looked at him; while my eyes flooded with tears. He place his hands within my face, slowly; removing my tears.

I held his hand, removing it from my face.

I was angry at him; for leaving me and making me chasing him within the cold rain.

Why does he say he loves me and keeps on hurting me?, I thought. If this is how love is, I don't want it.

"I know you're angry at me, he said with his rough voice. I'm sorry that I left you, I'm sorry I didn't answer you when you call out for me and I'm sorry that I made you chase me within the rain," he kept on apologizing.

I was starting to feel tired of his apologizes. It seems he wanted to keep on hurting me and later apologise. As if I was going to keep on forgiving him. But no. Not tonight.

I turned sideways; exiting the shower. Suddenly I felt him pulled me into his arms.

"No!" I shouted at him.

"I'm not going to let you go Avery!" he shouted at me, frightening me.

I was so brave to answer him and said sadly, "Well you can't have us both,"

"Well I chose you," he said.

"Not tonight," I answered him; turning my face aside.

He turned my face to his; and pulled his face close to mine; allowing his lip to brush against me.

"Then why I'm I here," he answered me.

"I dont know," I said.

He pushed me backwards towards the shower; allowing the water to run all over me.

Soon his body was against mine; wrapping himself around me.

My brain wanted me to push him away. But my heart, didn't wanted to.

I held on to his muscular body. Pressing my face against him.

I then started to worry.

I love him but I hated that his ex keeps on coming between us.

After hearing the true reason why she left him tonight; was he going to stay with me.

"I'll never leave you," he said over my head.

I closed my eyes, strongly feeling, what he had said.

But, should I believe him?

As he held me; there was a question I wanted to him, so badly.

"What had happened between you too?" I asked him.

Liam removed his hands from me, took me up into his arms and carried me to my room; not giving an answer.

He place me down to stand and went over to my draw for a white towel and started to dry my body; wrapping the towel around me.

As I was about to ask him again. He took me up and place me on the bed. Removing the towel from my body and lower himself to the floor drying my feet.

"It hurts me hearing that she lost our child, we could have had, he said. But I hated that she used it in trying to come between us. Hearing you crying to me of not wanting to be alone, anymore. I know I had to confronted her right away even though it was quite painful for us," he said.

I felt happy hearing him said that; knowing he was not going to leave me. I jumped down on him, wrapping my hands around him; while he bend on his knees.

"I'll always be by your side, he said to me. Avery, he called me. I removed my face from his shoulder and stare within his eyes. I hope one day you'll trust me enough to tell me what had happened to you," he said.

I smiled at him and bring my face to his shoulder, worriedly.

I love Liam; but I'll never let him know about my horrible past.

I was starting a new life with him and I wasn't going to make that evil alpha Aaron, destroy it for me.

Liam stood up; while I continued to wrap my body around him. Now worried about what he said.

He carried me to the bed; placing me to lie down on my back; showing my bareness. I lay there, not hiding my body away from him anymore. My body now belong to him.

He stood infront of me using the same towel he used in drying me to dry his body as well. I laid there watching his bare body.

Suddenly I saw him drop the towel to the floor and came over to me.

"Don't you want to make space for me?" he asked me while he smiled.

I went over on the bed; allowing him to lay beside me. He pushed his body closer to me; holding me.

"Lets get some sleep, he said. For tomorrow, I'll be taking you home."

I closed my eyes pushing my body closer towards him, happily. But still I could stop thinking about what he said.

I hope he never question me about my past nor finds out about it, I worried.

As he held me close; I fell asleep by his warm body.

Not feeling his body against me anymore; I turned towards him opening my eyes and saw he wasn't beside me. I looked across the room quickly and saw him standing before me; all dressed up in a dark shirt and a light brown pant.

"You are a beauty, he said, I could stand here and watch you sleep all day"

I smiled at him removing myself from the bed; wrapped within a white sheet.

He came towards me and kiss me on the cheek.

"Get dress," he said.

I quickly put on a red short dress and packed all the clothes, he had bought for me. He took all of the bags and we both went downstairs. And there I saw Rosa awaiting for us.

"Going so soon," she said.

"We have to leave now," Liam answered her.

"I wanted to prepare breakfast for you guys first, she said. But it's okay anyways." Rosa smiled at us.

"I'm going to miss you Avery, she again said. Remember you can visit me anytime," she informed me.

I said my goodbyes and exit Rosa house. I'm going miss her so much. But, I will visit her soon. As soon as I'm all settle within Liam house.

Today was a start of a new beautiful beginning for me and I was not going to let my past ruin it no matter what.

Finally we were at my mate house. He opened the door and I went in.

Suddenly I saw his evil mom coming downstairs.

"My son," he called Liam; smiling at him.

"Miss Jennifer, Vanessa called her, I place all of your bags within your room," she said.

"Your room," Liam repeated.

"Yes, she said. I'll be staying with you for a while and informed your mate of her rule, now that she's your Luna," she said as she looked at me.

I could see pure evil within her eyes.

I then started to worry being in the same house fill with three she wolves who hates me.

Living here is not going to be easy at all.
