Upon arriving at the prison, Amber was taken to a cell where, in addition, there were five female prisoners who looked at her and laughed among themselves. Apparently they were waiting for her. Once the warden left, they approached her and surrounded her with the intention of beating her, so they began to talk to each other.
-Young meat, girls! Let's give her her welcome! -growled one of them.
-Let's not wait any longer! Let's give her what she deserves! So that he won't betray anyone else, because that's what we've been paid for," said another.
-Ha! So that he doesn't steal information! -commented the third one, and then laughed out loud.
Then, the first one slapped her hard, splitting Amber's lip, and she started to bleed. The second one hit her hard in the abdomen, which made her double over, while two of them held her by the arms.
Amber was unable to protect or defend herself, despite her training in martial arts. Between all of them they hit her and even kicked her. She only complained, although from her mouth almost no sound came out, due to the strong weakness she presented.
Finally, the five prisoners threw her from one side to the other, as if she were a ball, and then resumed their aggressions directly against her body.
-Nooo! Oh! No, no, let go of me, please! Let go! -she moaned feebly, weakly, until she fainted and her pants were stained with blood.
Amber was taken to the infirmary, where the doctor, upon examining her, found bleeding and fluid coming from her vagina, which was a common symptom of miscarriage.
She, upon making this diagnosis, immediately requested her transfer to a hospital, which was denied by the Director. The official denied the transfer, to comply with the request of her friend Christopher, who had called her earlier, to request that there were no considerations or privileges with this detainee.
Faced with this situation, the doctor did everything in her power for her, because the conditions inside the detention center were not the most favorable. The next day, Amber woke up with severe pain, but her moans were weak, barely audible, clearly showing how weak she felt.
Consequently, the prison doctor gave her the corresponding treatment and asked her to sleep. Otherwise, the Director contacted Christopher and informed him of what had happened, including the fact that the young woman had miscarried.
-What the hell are you saying? -Christopher asked uncontrollably, "Was she pregnant? Did she miscarry? Why did they beat her? -He growled loudly, demanding answers.
-According to the doctor at the precinct, from the beating they gave her, she miscarried," she affirmed, "And I don't know why she was beaten, or who did it. I am going to order an investigation into what happened? -she said, without the slightest real intention of doing so.
-Maldic...! -I'll thank you to keep me informed about what happened with her," he asked his friend.
-Gladly! -she replied smiling, because she had always felt attracted to her friend. Only that when she came to realize it, he was already in marriage plans, precisely with this detainee.
Christopher, hanging up the call, put both hands to his face, closed his eyes and did not stop thinking about that abortion with rage, but also with regret, reflecting that it could be his.
"Whose baby would it be?" he wondered internally and it was something that occupied his thoughts that day, questioning whether it was his or Dylan's. Jealousy and anger, however, kept him from reasoning logically.
That same day, Christopher was informed by his secretary, that he had a visitor, Genesis, Amber's friend. She asked to speak with him, to convince him to help her, because she was sure of her innocence. However, he did not receive her.
In view of this, she left in tears and decided to seek help elsewhere. Genesis went to the Corporation of Dylan Lugo, the man to whom her friend supposedly provided or sold the information, who, by the way, did receive it.
-Mr. Lugo, sorry to bother you! I am Genesis Bryan, Amber's friend. I don't know, if you know that she was arrested, she is at the checkpoint," she emphasized, waiting for a favorable answer, because her friend always told her that he never took his eyes off her.
-How? Why? How was she detained? -He interrupted violently, getting up from his chair, "Since when?
-Christopher Morillo accused her of having stolen information from your company to favor you. For this reason, she has been detained at the checkpoint since yesterday," explained Genesis.
-But that's absurd! What information? Are you crazy? How can you accuse her like that? That savage! That's how he shows her what he says he loves her," he grunted, remembering the beating he gave her and for which he has not yet denounced Christopher, since he has other plans.
-It's about some information related to the bids," she answered.
-I honestly won the bidding! -I'm already talking to my lawyers, so that they can take on her defense," he assured. I'll take care of getting her out," he said.
-I will thank you, sir! In any case, when Amber leaves, between the two of us we will pay all the expenses that are generated," she assured him.
-Calm down! We'll be in touch," he said, calling his lawyer, in her presence, and agreed with him to go to see her.

Meanwhile, at the checkpoint, Amber, recovering her consciousness and in pain, asked.
-Where am I? Why do I feel so bad? -she asked, looking at the doctor.
-First, you were beaten badly," she said, "all over your body. Second," pausing for a long pause, "you lost your baby!
-What do you mean, I lost my baby? -She asked in astonishment, "I was pregnant? My God, it can't be! -She exclaimed, trying to sit up, letting her tears run down her cheeks, feeling a strong pain in her chest.
Amber could not believe it, especially when she had been in ICU for seven days, as a consequence of the accident Christopher had caused her. Then she spent seven more days recovering in a room and none of the doctors who attended her informed her that she was pregnant.
-Didn't you know you were pregnant? -questioned the doctor, with her sweet and pleasant voice.
-No," Amber replied, shaking her head from side to side, adding, "I didn't know.
-I wanted to move you to a hospital, but they wouldn't let me. Someone influential, apparently, wants you locked up here, for no benefit.
-My God! -She exclaimed in pain, recognizing that this was Christopher's work. I'm sure it's a nightmare and at any moment I'm going to wake up -she assured, trembling and trying to get up from the stretcher.
-You must calm down, don't get up, I prefer you to stay lying down, you will be better off here in the infirmary than in the cell," the doctor assured her.
One week later
When the doctor noticed that Amber was better, she discharged her. The doctor suggested that she stay to help her in the infirmary, offering to talk to the director, which she accepted and waited for the decision.
If there was something that caught the doctor's attention, it was the fact that the person in charge of the checkpoint did nothing to find out what had happened? Nor why the new prisoner was beaten? As far as she knew, they did not even punish those involved in the incident.
Obviously, the director, when asked, denied the request. However, the doctor made her reason that if anything happened to the young woman, it would be her responsibility. Because she did not investigate, nor did she punish those who beat her, nor did she protect her integrity. Therefore, she was as responsible as those who beat her.
Faced with this threat, the next day, Amber began to serve in the infirmary, receiving that same day, the visit of Dylan and his lawyer.
A week later
Amber received visits from her mother and her friend, whom she told about the beating she had received. She also informed them that because of this, she lost her child, that she was pregnant and did not know it. She also told them about her suspicions that Christopher was behind the beatings, apparently he paid for her to be beaten.
Finally, her friend told her that she had talked to Dylan, and he offered to help her. For her part, Amber told him that she had already been there with a lawyer, but that she did not have any illusions.
Later, after her mother and her friend left, Amber was informed of another visit. Upon arriving at the area of the prison set up for this, she noticed someone she never imagined she would see there.
-Amber, my friend, how much it hurts me to see you locked up here? -said Michelle Fontain with false tears in her eyes.
-Thank you Michelle for visiting me. I never imagined, when I came in here, that you would visit me, you surprise me! -She exclaimed astonished, because she always sensed that this one liked Christopher and would take advantage of any situation to get her out of the way.
-It hurts me what's going on with you, Amber! -He affirmed pretending sadness and hugging her -Christopher is in a bad mood, besides I came to see you, because I can't keep quiet in front of so much wickedness from him...
