21 ALICIA
Elijah immediately backed away from me and looked at me with confusion. Perhaps I had shown myself to be a more open and willing person to experience many things, but I had truly remained pure and a virgin due to my family's religious beliefs. However, I had never felt like a part of that religion deep down. I desired to explore and push the boundaries of my life, which is why I was so drawn to Elijah. Only he had been able to lead me into experiencing new sensations.
"What the hell are you talking about?" Elijah questioned.
"It's something I've wanted to tell you for a long time, but... I just couldn't."
"No," Elijah shook his head. "It's impossible for you to be a virgin. You know about sex, and not only that, you're 25 years old."
"My age has nothing to do with my sexuality," I spoke a bit irritated by his reaction. "Elijah, for a long time, I suppressed my sexuality, and now I'm willing to explore and, I don't know, feel more like a woman."
"Why the hell didn't you tell me this before?!" Elijah raised his voice, and I could see he was completely angry.
"What's wrong with you?" I got off the kitchen counter and adjusted the shirt I was wearing to move away from him.
"What's wrong with me?" he asked, pacing back and forth. "I don't fuck virgins," he confessed. "I can't fuck virgins."
I felt my heart shatter at Elijah's negativity. I nodded my head and left the kitchen, heading to the room where I had stored all my clothes.
"Where do you think you're going?!" Elijah exclaimed from behind me.
"I'm leaving this place where I'm not welcome."
I entered the large closet and grabbed my suitcase to start packing all my clothes.
"You're not leaving here," Elijah grabbed my arm to stop me from continuing to pack my clothes. "I've already paid a lot of money to have you."
Tears welled up in my eyes, and with my free hand, I slapped his cheeks, and the sound of the impact echoed through the room.
"You're going to let me go," I spoke with a broken voice. "I'll pay you every cent you spent on me because I never want to see you again."
"I told you, no, you won't go anywhere from here because you're mine."
"No, I'm not," I tried to break free from his grip. "Because you don't intend to touch me and fuck me, so step aside and let someone else have a chance to experience what you just rejected."
I could see the anger in his eyes as he heard my words. I truly intended to get rid of him and go back home because I shouldn't have been in that mansion in the first place.
"Fine," he let go of me. "You're going to pay me back every cent I invested in your father," he spat out in anger. "But you're not leaving here."
"Are you challenging me?" I crossed my arms to intimidate him.
"I'm not challenging you; I'm asserting it, and you're going to live here and face the consequences."
I let out a loud laugh and shook my head at his comment.
"God, Elijah, you're quite the comedian!"
"Keep laughing," he looked at me seriously. "But remember, he who laughs last, laughs best."
Elijah left the room, leaving me in complete silence. Following that, I heard a loud door slam, and inevitably, my eyes filled with tears. In a way, I had thrown myself into his arms without fearing rejection, and Elijah had decided to remove his arms and let me fall to the ground like a fragile glass.
I sit on the floor and let out all the tears that had accumulated in my eyes. I sob and release all the pent-up emotions from everything that's happening in my life. Everything has taken a nosedive, and I feel like there's no solid ground beneath my feet, like I'm falling into an endless abyss.
But, as in every battle I've faced, I wipe away my tears and rise from the ground to finish packing all my clothes. Elijah won't find a trace of me, and honestly, that's for the best. What we had should have never started, and now it's ending in the worst way imaginable. I was rejected because I'm a damn virgin.
With all my clothes packed and ready, along with my change of clothes, I head downstairs in the grand mansion and open the door. However, two muscular figures block my path.
"Get out of my way," I speak with seriousness.
"We're sorry, Miss Morgan, but we were given clear orders not to let you leave the house."
"Mr. Elijah prefers you to spend the night at home."
"Well, tell your boss he can go suck a radish, because I plan to stay right here!"
I try to push past them, but it's nearly impossible. These two giants don't budge an inch.
"Don't insist, Miss. If you manage to escape from us, there will be other bodyguards waiting to catch you and bring you back home."
"You can't keep me prisoner!"
"We're sorry," one of the men responds before closing the door in my face.
I start to laugh quietly as I search for my phone and dial Elijah's number. That idiot is going to hear me, and I'm going to break his face when he gets back home.
"What?" is the first thing he says from the other end.
"What?" I reply sarcastically. "Are you seriously asking that?"
"Have you already tried to escape?" I swear I can hear him smiling.
"Call your goons and tell them to let me out."
"That will never happen, Alicia. I told you that you're my property, and you won't leave until I'm back."
"Idiot!" I shout into the phone. "Elijah, I swear to God, if you don't call your bodyguards to let me out, I'll escape and have sex with the first man I come across."
"It's impossible for you to leave the house. I have the best security teams, and they'll catch you within seconds."
"Fine, you asked for it."
I hang up the call, but I return to the large closet, where I've unpacked most of my clothes. I rummage around until my gaze falls on an article of clothing that I'm sure Elijah will hate to see me wear. I strip completely and put on that dress. Over it, I throw on a baggy black sweatshirt and a matching hoodie. I do my makeup as best as I can and, barefoot, I stealthily move through the house.
I peek through every possible exit route, but they all have one or two bodyguards.
"Damn you, Elijah Morgan," I think to myself. That damn idiot has secured every area of this place, but I can't let him get away with this. An idea forms in my head.
I head up to the second floor, right into Elijah's room, and grab something heavy that will cause a commotion. I spot a cylindrical ornament on his nightstand and, without measuring the distance, I throw it against the window. The alarms in the house go off immediately, and I hear heavy footsteps mobilizing.
I run away from the crime scene and see several bodyguards approaching Elijah's room. I take advantage of this distraction and run as far away as my legs will allow. Fortunately, I manage to get out of the Morgan mansion.
Then, a bright light shines on me.
"Damn it," I mutter, covering my face. The light goes out, and I can see that it's coming from a car.
"Who are you?" A tall, handsome, and elegant man steps out of the car and approaches me with curiosity.
"If you take me far away from here, I'll tell you everything," I say as I catch my breath.
"How do I know I can trust you?" the man crosses his arms.
"Because I want to teach Elijah Morgan a lesson," I explain.
A sinister smile creeps onto the man's lips. "Then we have something in common. Come on, I'll get you out of here."
Without hesitation, I get into his car, and we drive off to somewhere in the city.
"What's your name?" I ask him.
"Alicia. And you?"
"No one important," he shrugs.
"Well, Mr. No One Important, keep your eyes on the road."
I start undressing, taking off my pants.
"Wow!" he exclaims.
"I told you not to look," I shoot him a deadly look, but he just laughs.
I let my high heels, which I never let go of, rest on my feet. Finally, I take off the hoodie, revealing the best part of the dress.
"Why do you hate Elijah?" the man asks.
"Because he's a possessive idiot who thinks I'll stay locked up at home just to please him," I vent. "I refuse to be a trophy girlfriend."
"I didn't know you were his girlfriend," the man looks at me with noticeable interest.
"Well... I don't even know what we are, but when you bring a woman to live with you, there's a relationship of some sort."
"Not to burst your bubble, but he's at his club with several other girls."
A deep rage wells up inside me, but at the same time, sadness and the feeling of not being enough for him overtake me. He's with another woman, not with me, because I'm just a virgin. But he's keeping me in his grand palace as if I were his property. I won't allow that.
"Take me to the club," I tell the man, trying to control my anger.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, and I'm going to show him that nobody messes with me."
