Chapter 31: The Arrival of the Family
As my family is on the way here i decide that i should go rest with my mate so i go to her room to chill and sit with her i decide to bring my laptop so i can wok on clan business while still being here with her so she can feel my presence. our mates and pups will be here in the morning my love lets rest together and we can get some sleep while we wait for them. After i talk to her i work for about two hrs before i fall asleep on the side of her bed. I am woken up by the nurse Alpha King Dante i just wanted to let you know that we have recieved word that the convoy is enroute home and they are making good time they plane landed at 11:45pm and they were in the vehicles and on the way back by 12 they should be here by 5:45am depending on how much they stop. They are going to come straight her and drop everyone off then they guards will driuve to the main house and put everyones stuff in the bunkhouse. Then the guards on duty now will switch the others adn then they will let the others sleep for 6hrs adnthen they will switch agin the pups are doing well they are sleeping right now they fell asleep once they were in the vehicles and got fed. I spoke with Xavier who said they will talk with you during breakfast and Luna Sarah and Vera and Hudson and there guards will stay with our queen while everyone else eats in the mess hall. Okay mama we are gonna go have some food adn we will be back spend some time with your mom and Vera. After we left we headed to the mess hall to grab breakfast. So basically i wanted to let you know that there are a few things that need to change and the first is that we have some traitors in our packs and clans i know of one but we can talk about it in the ofice after breakfast lets first eat adn then go there also we have to talk about the Rebels. they are preparing for a war. Lets take our food into the office and go from there. Once we get to the office i tell everyone to take a seat so we have many things to discuss. First Garrett woods, Xavier your dad was having several conversations with my dad na dthe receptionist heard the last one he is working with the rebels to take over from you becuase he doesnt agree that a woman should hold power as the Alpha of Alphas. Xavier did you know any of this did you know how he feels about woman of powere has he said anything to you.
Xavier: Well i know that he has said thta he couldnt believe thta the former king announced that Vanessa was taking over for him and not you guys that she was the Alpha of Alphas but when he didi my dad wasnt happy he was saying things like he has sealed his fate as well as the rest of them. I figured he was just rambling on about things and just venting his anger but it what your saying is what youve heard then i would belive it. He even made my mother to be seen and not heard adn he told my sister Tara that she would never hold a position of power and i was taught that women should help their mates and take care of the house but we got mated with Vanessa i saw the true way the mates should help they should help each opther and support each other and always be equals not one left behind because of gender
Luke: i agree i noticed at the last pack meeting Garrett was talking to a group of older wolves that i thing were old guards from before we took over that had retired do you know if maybe he is recruiting from with our pack as well as anyone requested a leave since Vanessa took over.
Mark: yes we have had 12 reqquest leave in the last 4 months and i can tell you that five of them were from the old retired warriors that use to work with the King.
Dante: Well i suggest that we put garrett in the cells or at least put him on house arrest with no elctronics adn then i would suggest we put a min of two guards on him atall times adn make srure they are loyal to us i can send two of my warriors to the Palace to help with this is needed that way he cant sway them to their side . Secound i would say we need to get to the ceremony don so i have moved it up till friday in two days i have had dresses sent over for Vanessa and her mom and Vera and i ordered suits for us and the boys we will be ready when she wakes up tomorrow. Alos my ex is planning something she has been seen running the borders for the last 12 hrs adn we are not sure whats going on but if she causes more problems then we will deal with it if she crosses the borders she is to be caught and put in call at all cost and leath force if necessary. She attacked our mate and our mate won she put her in her place becuase she tried to challenger but didnt realize that you cant challenge a mated pair so my ex fucked up badly. Hudson this is my beta Bennett you can ask him for more guards to be able to rotate more and also i would like to add a dragon to the pups guard team they will be able to smell and feel another dragon a bit sooner that a wolf could and they can help with protections. Also Guys Duminar my Gamma wants to assist with tprotection of Vanessa as he is resonsible for her protection its in his nature to want to be close to her so i have agreed to add him to her detail with Gunner aNd Jake since he came with us from her parents pack. Also with Xander taking the Role of Alpha for the Palce i feel that he wont be able to be her main guard any more. Lets head to the infirmary.
When we arrive at the infirmary i find Vera on Vanessa chest nursing like crazy and we see a white glow surrounding her and Vanessa. I have tried to pick vera up for ten mins but i cant get inside the white bubble, her mom said. Well the head mother did say that they would need this maybe they are bonding in a different way and i think that they are surrounded by a forceffield. We will ned to figure out how to get the forcefield down and get Vera from her and let the other two have a turn.
