Chapter 17: Healing Takes A Toll
I wake to find myself in our bed and I can hear the guys talking quietly just outside the door.
Dante: is she going to wake up soon it's been a week I miss her laugh and her smile the pups miss her to we have been laying them on her like you suggested but I'm not sure what to do they are always fussy and then when they are with her they settle down but it's not like we can leave them with her all the time.
Dr Matthews: Look guys she will wake but it takes time healing from child birth alone and then she healed not one of you but two of you and I'm Pretty sure Xavier was almost dead we lost his pulse twice while I was working on him and I have a feeling that was what she felt but you know that she didn't want to pass out she just needs to get stronger and then once awake we need to make sure that she trains not only physically but mentally as well so that when she has to heal you guys she can do so without the stress on her body.
Mark: When she wakes, I say we give her a few days to get her strength back and then we begin training her on the training field and then we will have to have the coronation since she has been out since last Thursday and its now Wednesday, we will see what happens but the king moved the ceremony to this Saturday hopefully she wakes soon.
Luke: Um guys look I just saw movement from the bed I think she is waking up.
When the guys walk in, I open my eyes. I have been awake since I heard Dante saying he missed me I'm here and not going anywhere but I would like to see my pups and also, I want to get a dress tomorrow for the coronation on Saturday and I'm starving can someone get me a steak.
I got it says Xavier with a smirk I hear him mumble she is always so demanding when she is hungry better go get her food before she tries to eat us lol. I laugh out loud, and he turns heard that did yaw. Yup go get my steak pretty boy I yell, and the other guys bust out laughing to. The King walks in just a Xavier leaves, hey my dear how are felling maybe don't try to heal both your men at the same time next time it takes a lot out of you I will be more careful in the future, but my mind just told me what I needed to do. After we eat maybe we can spend some time with my pups, I'm missing them already. Ok let's eat and then we will discuss everything. Once we are all in the dining room Xavier brings in the trays with food and sit them on the table I grab and steak and baked Potatoe and chow down just as I hear Vera and Valor wake up, I know Vander will be up soon. I jump up and go to grab them Mark takes my arm to help me and we go to the nursery together I find my parents in there with the babies. Hey sweetheart I missed up how are you feeling hope you are ok and I know that things are a bit weird right now but you are ok and I'm glad you are awake which baby you want to try to feed first we have been letting them nurse off you as much as we can so that they know how to latch how about take Vera she is easy to latch and I will feed Valor your dad can grab Vander when he wakes. that sounds good thanks mom. Guy why don't you go to the training grounds and get a good workout I'm ok and you guys need to train. After they leave it's just me and my parents. Mom I'm scared of what's to come I know things that are going to happen have to happen and I know I have to let them, but I don't like it what do I do. The moon goddess says I can't tell my mates what's to come or it could change the future for worse but I'm so scared.
