Chapter 195 Micro-level Disintegration, Kill Order

Chapter 195 Micro-level Disintegration, Kill Order

The glass surface of the frontmost incubation pod had already cracked open, followed by the others.

Alarm lights across the entire core section flashed in waves.

Inside the pods, the test subjects convulsed uncontrollably, the experimental cores in their chests lighting up one by one.

"Take a good look, David. This is the army of the new era—no pain, no fear, never tired, and they'll never betray you. You can kill a hundred, maybe a thousand, but there are thousands more right here." The man on the screen smiled brightly.

"Don't waste time on him. The core section's circulation system is being rewritten. Once these things break free from the sustaining fluid, their combat parameters will max out instantly!" Mia's tone was sharp.

His gaze swept across the entire hall. David stood in the churning seawater, his blade hanging at his side.

Incubation pods, infusion tubes, life-support circulation pumps, pressure valves, temperature control lines, energy chambers at the base—and deeper still, that thing that had been pulsing all along.

The Crimson Tear on David's chest was resonating with the energy source deep within the underwater fortress.

"Wait, the field strength in your body is changing... No, this isn't just getting stronger—the frequency shifted." Mia immediately detected the data anomaly.

"Interesting. So the meteorite fragment in your body can respond like this." The man also noticed the change. "Too bad. It's too late."

David slowly opened his fingers and raised his left hand. His telekinetic power sank down, flowing through the seawater, through the air, seeping into every life-support circulation line.

"You're dismantling their internal structure?" Mia stared at the screen.

Glass was no longer just glass. In David's perception, it was countless tiny structures densely fused together.

The circulation fluid was no longer just liquid—it was a mixture of chemicals, toxins, deep-sea salt, even metallic residue.

The frequency continued rising. His telekinetic power pushed deeper. The Crimson Tear burned hot enough to scorch the fabric on David's chest until it blackened.

"Stop—" The man's expression changed.

But no one could intervene for him. After all, he was only communicating through a remote image feed.

David clenched his fingers. The entire hall—thousands of incubation pods—trembled. The next second, they exploded in waves.

Every pod shattered from the inside at the same instant. Glass fragments scattered everywhere. Reinforcement fluid sprayed out uncontrollably. The high-pressure seawater from the deep ocean flooding in mixed into every life-support system.

The test subjects inside—still incomplete, not yet fully matured—had just opened their eyes when their skin began to rot.

They felt no pain, only instinctive struggle. Before they could even crawl out of their pods, they dissolved into mush in the blue liquid and black seawater.

"Oh my God... you shattered them." Mia watched the data curves on the monitors, her voice rising.

David's palm was still trembling.

The floor was covered with broken pods and flowing remains. The army that was about to be born moments ago never even had the chance to stand.

"You destroyed my legion." The man stared at the scene and roared.

"You should be grateful I haven't found you yet." David looked up.

"Very well." The man on the screen fell silent for two seconds, the hatred in his eyes growing heavier. "Very well, David. Time and again, you prove yourself to be both the most perfect specimen and the most vile contamination source."

He raised his hand. Behind him, an entire row of new interfaces lit up.

They displayed not only a global map, satellite orbits, financial nodes, military communication networks, but also high-level access links to the Global Defense Council.

"This guy's linking into GDC's top-tier systems." Mia's expression darkened.

"You really think the Soul Sanctum only hides in the shadows?" The man sneered. "Politicians, capital, the military, the Council—we've been feeding them for years. Now, the old world will fulfill its final purpose."

Priority-one directives began appearing one after another.

[Target: David. Threat Level: Extinction-Class.]

[Global manhunt authorization activated.]

[Associated list: Summit Enterprises Ltd core members, affiliated mercenary units, technical support personnel.]

[Classified as the world's number-one terrorist organization.]

"From this moment on, you're not a businessman, not an heir, not a victim. You're a global enemy." The man's tone was cold.

"Airports will turn you away. Ports will block you. Banks will freeze you. Militaries will hunt you. Everyone who stands with you will be dragged into war."

"This is the purge."

"Welcome to the real hunt, David."

"Done talking?" David stared at him.

The man's face was blank. "Soon, you'll be on your knees begging me to end this."

David stepped forward and brought his blade down, shattering the main screen. Sparks flew.

The hall's tremors intensified. The core section was now completely destabilized. Peter was dead. The incubation pods were all destroyed.

"Don't stay there—the lower energy chambers are starting to overload in a chain reaction. The whole fortress is going to collapse—" Mia immediately shouted.

David spun and charged toward the lift shaft. The seawater beneath his feet grew more violent. Wall sections cracked one after another. Alarm sirens drowned out every other noise. Blast doors dropped on both sides in succession. David didn't stop. His blade cut through the alloy doors all the way.

"Right corridor's blocked. Take the upper pressure shaft. Main hull will start fracturing in thirty seconds!" Mia rattled off the route.

"Enough time."

"You say that every time—"

Riding the upward current, David shot upward and burst into the pressure shaft. The roar behind him grew louder. The shockwave from the core section's collapse traveled up the shaft walls. The entire underwater fortress began to tilt. Countless fragments, corpses, and severed mechanical arms tumbled through the water.

David pushed through the turbulent flow and continued upward. He crashed through the opening. Outside was the deep ocean.

The fortress's outer shell split open with a massive breach. Blue light and firelight spewed outward together.

"Upper left, eighty meters. Speedboat's waiting on the surface!" Mia called urgently.

A traction beam shot through the water. David sheathed his blade. Telekinetic force wrapped around his body. He rocketed toward the surface.

The light above grew brighter. The entire underwater fortress collapsed with a roar. Massive metal debris and rock layers sank together. The deep-sea shockwave triggered a terrifying undercurrent. The moment the impact caught up to him, David's surface shield jolted violently. The dark red glowing lines nearly shattered.

He kept ascending. The surface exploded. David finally burst out of the Black Sea and landed hard on the waiting speedboat.

"Boss, you finally made it." Devereaux grabbed him.

David dropped to one knee on the boat. The speedboat's engine roared to full power. Seawater streamed down his tactical suit. His shoulder and arm were covered in fresh wounds. The Crimson Tear on his chest was still burning hot.

"We've got a major problem." Mia's projection screen popped up inside the boat. Her expression was worse than he'd ever seen.

"Talk." David looked up.

Several screens appeared simultaneously. She tapped rapidly.

Breaking news. Council bulletins. Global warrants. Asset freeze lists. Live footage of Summit Enterprises Ltd offices being raided around the world.

"The Global Defense Council has confirmed that dangerous individual David leads a transnational armed network, suspected of assaulting federal facilities, stealing forbidden technology, and manufacturing large-scale biological disasters..." The anchor reported in a tone exaggerated to the point of disgust.

"These bastards really know how to spin a story." Devereaux's face darkened.

Mia didn't respond. She immediately pulled up the highest-level encrypted feed.

New York. Manhattan.

Outside Summit Enterprises Ltd headquarters, the building was surrounded by armored vehicles.

Heavy armed transport aircraft hovered overhead. Around the building's perimeter, a translucent electromagnetic barrier had been erected. Blue-white currents snaked along the exterior walls, locking down the entire building.

"GDC special forces are already there. Not regular assault teams—these are the Council's direct purge units. They've sealed off headquarters completely." Mia spoke quickly.

"Who's inside?" David's gaze turned cold.

"Raynor's in the top-floor command center. Devereaux's people who stayed in New York are also trapped inside. Plus the research team, legal team, security main control—no one got out."

"Why didn't those idiots run—" Devereaux cursed.

"They couldn't. Once the barrier went up, all communications and exits in the entire building were sealed. The worst part is this." Mia glared at him directly.

She enlarged a set of parameters. "Electromagnetic interference barrier. Specifically designed to suppress anomalous energy fields. Military's new model. Ninety percent certain it's built to counter telekinesis. If you force your way in, your abilities will be severely weakened."

Night wind rushed in. The speedboat cut through the waves. David stood, looking at the glowing electromagnetic barrier outside the New York headquarters. His heart sank.

At the top floor of the building, an explosion suddenly flashed. The earpiece immediately cut to another distress channel. Mia's pupils contracted.

"Boss... they blasted through the thirty-second floor..." Through the static, Raynor gasped for breath, his voice shaking. "The top floor's about to fall..."
