Chapter 163: Something Happened to Will

Chapter 163: Something Happened to Will
Sophia's POV
Kieran and I went at it until three in the morning last night.
He seemed determined to make up for all the times I'd left him wanting, dragging me to try every spot: the floor-to-ceiling windows, the carpet, the sofa, and the bed.
If my pussy hadn't been fucked so swollen, he would've had endless stamina to keep going.
When I woke up, morning light streamed through the floor-to-ceiling windows, making me squint.
My body was covered in kiss marks, and there was a faint stinging sensation between my legs.
Kieran lay naked beside me, his chest rising and falling evenly with his breathing.
I sat up, my hips still tangled in the torn remnants of my skirt, our clothes scattered everywhere across the floor.
My eyes swept over the trash can, stuffed full of used condoms.
I covered my face in shame. God, last night was absolutely insane.
I grabbed my phone from the nightstand. The screen showed it was already nine in the morning.
My heart lurched: thirty-two missed calls, all from the Ellis brothers and Logan.
I'd been so caught up having sex with Kieran that I'd completely ignored their calls.
My hands trembled as I opened Theo's text: "Sophia, when I get back, I will definitely punish you severely"
I frowned. Get back? Where had they gone?
Next, I opened Fabian's message.
He said: "There's an emergency at Ellis Group. We had to go back and handle it."
My heart suddenly sank.
Just then, my phone rang abruptly, the vibration making me jump.
It was an unknown number.
I hesitated for a second before answering.
"Sophia, where are you right now?"
Laura's voice came through the receiver, clearly urgent, even carrying a sob.
My heart instantly jumped to my throat, my voice becoming tense.
"Laura, I just finished attending Olivia's wedding. What happened?"
Laura's breathing was rapid: "It's Will, he's passed out. Sophia, please come back quickly, I'm begging you..."
Then the call disconnected.
My mind suddenly went blank with a roar.
The phone slipped from my palm and dropped onto the bedsheet.
Kieran woke up then.
He keenly sensed something was wrong and immediately sat up, wrapping his arm around my shoulders.
"What's wrong?"
"Will... he..."
I couldn't complete a single sentence, drowning in fear.
Why would Will suddenly pass out? Before I left, the doctor told me his health had improved considerably.
Would he die? Was I about to lose him so soon?
No, I couldn't accept that!
I wanted to get up immediately, but found myself frozen on the bed, my whole body ice cold, without even the strength to stand.
Kieran quickly calmed down, his palm gripping my shoulder.
"Sophia, I'll go with you. Don't worry, Will will be fine!"
Those words brought me back to my senses.
I took a deep breath and nodded firmly.
We hastily threw on clothes.
The moment we stepped out the door, Carl's anxious figure appeared in the doorway.
"Mr. Kieran, you're finally out, I..."
Before Carl could finish, Kieran immediately cut him off: "Prepare the car now. Sophia and I are going to the Blood Moon Wolf Pack!"
Carl's expression became complicated. He opened his mouth but didn't immediately move.
Kieran's face instantly darkened, his gaze turning sharp: "What are you standing there for!"
"Mr. Kieran..."
Carl swallowed, beads of sweat forming on his forehead.
"Last night at midnight, thugs suddenly harassed the Frost Wolf Pack border. Madam asked me to call you back to handle it..."
What? Why was everyone dealing with emergencies at this critical moment?
I looked at Kieran. His jawline was taut.
"Kieran," I said softly, "you should go back with Carl. I can face this myself."
I was Will's daughter. This was my responsibility to begin with.
"How is that possible?" Kieran growled. "Sophia, there's no way I'm letting you go back alone!"
He released me and turned to Carl, his voice cold as ice: "Carl! You go back and solve the problem immediately. If you can't solve it, don't bother coming to see me again!"
Carl's face went pale.
He wiped the cold sweat from his forehead: "Yes, yes, sir."
Kieran drove me to the Blood Moon Wolf Pack. Throughout the way, his hands gripped the steering wheel tightly.
I sat in the passenger seat, my heart full of worry for Will.
After arriving at Will's villa, we were greeted by Frank.
I looked around but didn't see Robert or Laura.
"Where's Will?" I asked urgently.
Frank's expression was grave: "In the bedroom. He's still unconscious. Sophia, you should go up and see him first."
Kieran patted my back reassuringly: "Go see Will. I'll contact the Frost Wolf Pack's top doctors right now."
I nodded and rushed up the stairs, pushing open Will's bedroom door.
Will lay on the bed, his face terrifyingly aged, wearing a breathing mask, with a heart monitor nearby emitting weak beeping sounds.
The once strong, imposing Alpha now looked so fragile.
I held my breath and slowly walked to Will's bedside, trembling as I grasped his hand.
His hand was ice cold, completely without warmth.
"Dad..."
Frank stood beside me and let out a long sigh: "I know this all came too suddenly. None of us were prepared."
My tears fell, dripping onto the back of Will's hand.
I silently prayed in my heart, praying that Will would wake up soon.
After who knows how long, I wiped away my tears and stood up.
"Frank, please help me watch over Will for now."
Leaving the bedroom, I randomly stopped a passing servant: "Have you seen Robert?"
The servant shook head vigorously, fear flashing in her eyes: "No, no, I haven't seen him."
This was too strange.
Why would this servant be afraid to mention Robert?
Even stranger, Robert usually stayed by Will's side constantly.
Now that Will had fallen into a deep coma, why would Robert disappear?
I thought for a moment, turned down the corridor, and headed toward Laura's room.
I had some questions I wanted to ask her.
I even felt that Will's collapse wasn't an accident.
Standing in front of Laura's door, I knocked: "Laura, are you there?"
No response from inside.
I knocked a few more times. Still no movement.
I turned the doorknob. The door was actually unlocked.
Pushing it open, the room was empty, the bed neatly made.
Just a few hours ago, Laura had called telling me to come back quickly.
Where was she?
Just as I was about to leave, my vision inadvertently caught something pressed under the carpet.
I crouched down and picked up the object.
It was a photograph.
When I saw clearly what was in the photo, my fingers began trembling violently, the entire world seeming to collapse in that moment.
In the photo were Marcus and I together.
It was the photo that the thief had stolen when they broke into Marcus's and my apartment.
A bone-chilling cold rose from the soles of my feet, causing all the blood in my body to freeze in that instant.
Why was a photo of Marcus and me in Laura's room?!
