Kate POV
Gypsy leaves Erick and me to eat the delicious food she brought to the cabin for us. We each put food on our plates, and I unwrap the bread in the box. Erick takes a thermos of tea out of the box and sets it on the table. I get us two glasses from the cabinet and some ice from the freezer.
“Do you think she will help me?” I ask Erick.
“Yes, I do. I wasn’t expecting her to be here tonight. I guess it worked out that she was here. Her oldest daughter is usually here,” Erick says.
“You come up here often?” I ask him.
“Yes, I do. It is a great place to get away from the pack and my crazy mother,” Erick says.
“Do you bring women up here?” I ask him.
“No, I am not like that. I usually come up here when my mother is trying to play matchmaker. I come up here to keep from hurting whoever she is trying to hook me up with at the moment,” Erick says.
“Does she do that a lot?” I ask.
“Yes, you have no idea. She is set on me marrying someone of status. I only want to be happy. I want to choose my mate. I do not want someone to choose for me,” Erick says.
“How do you choose a mate?” I ask.
“Your wolf will choose for you. My wolf doesn’t like anyone she has tried to choose,” Erick says.
“I am sorry. I do not know anything about being a wolf,” I say.
“You turned two days ago for the first time, right?” Erick asks.
“Yes, and then all of these strange things started happening to me,” I answer.
“What kind of strange things?” Erick asks.
“It is like I can hear things and see things. I can smell things I have never experienced before. I can see people in my dreams and wolves. There are wolves in my dreams,” I answer him.
“It is your pack. Well, not necessarily your pack, but their wolves are trying to communicate with you. If your grandfather was royalty, then you may be very important to your pack,” Erick says.
“I am not important. If I was so important, then why did no one come to help me?” I ask Erick.
“They did not come to help you because they thought you were dead,” Erick says.
I stare down at my plate. I am so hungry. I stop trying to find answers and begin to eat. Gypsy is one heck of a cook. The food tastes unbelievable. I look to Erick, who is staring at me. “What is it?” I ask him.
“You are so beautiful,” Erick says.
“I don’t think anyone has ever told me that in my life,” I say.
“Well, they should,” Erick says.
We finish eating and pack the food away that is left for later. I clean off the table and begin to clean up. “I can do that,” Erick says. I leave Erick to clean and sit in front of the fire on the floor.
Erick joins me in front of the fire. “Do you need a blanket?” Erick asks. “No, I think I am starting to get warm,” I answer. Erick brings a blanket over and wraps me in it. “You look cold,” Erick says. He sits beside me. He is so handsome. Erick leans into me and kisses me. Our eyes meet as our lips touch. He pulls me in close to him. He holds me tightly as he kisses me deeply. I want to melt into him and stay there forever. His hand grabs my waist and pulls me closer. My body tingles with excitement from his touch. I stop him and pull back from him. “Erick, I am a virgin. I have never been with a man,” I say to him as I touch the scruff of his beard and look into his eyes.
“I am sorry. I will stop,” Erick says. “No, don’t. I only wanted you to know,” I say. Erick pulls me back to him, kissing me deeply. I lay back on the floor with Erick beside me, kissing and caressing my body. He kisses my neck while unbuttoning my shirt. He pushes my shirt to the side, exposing my bra. He pulls my bra down and takes my nipple into his mouth. My body is trembling from his touch. He kisses down my stomach to my pants as my body quivers under his lips. He unbuttons my jeans and unzips them as he slides my pants off of my body. I lay next to him in my panties and bra. He continues to kiss my body and caress me. I am not sure what to do. My body is aching for him.
Erick kisses my lips. His tongue slides into my mouth as his hand makes its way into my panties. He rubs my clit softly. I moan as he ignites my body. I can feel how hard he is lying next to me. His fingers make their way inside me. He gently touches my pussy. His fingers begin going in and out of me. I moan louder as I feel a rush of excitement from his touch. I reach down to touch his hardness. I take him into my hand, rubbing up and down him nervously.
“I do not want to take your virginity,” Erick says. I pull him in to kiss me again. “I want you to take it,” I tell him.
Erick sits up, taking off his shirt and exposing his abs and muscles. He is incredibly sexy. He takes off his pants. He removes my bra and panties, exposing my naked body to him completely. He divides my legs and is on top of me as the fire roars beside us. I feel his hardness at my entrance. He leans down and kisses me as he enters my body. He pushes inside me. I gasp at the size of him. He slowly goes deep inside me. I moan louder, grabbing his shoulder blade. The pain and pleasure are mixing in my body as he takes my virginity. He thrusts in and out of me, being easy at first, letting me get used to his massive hardness inside me. His hand runs down my side grabbing my ass and pulling me closer to him as he goes deeper inside me. My body begins to shake and quiver as he pushes into me deeper and deeper. I feel a sudden rush and tingle inside me as I cum for him. I moan loudly, holding him tightly as my body releases onto him. He pushes into me hard and starts fucking me harder, then slows down to cum inside me.
Erick lies beside me, covering my naked body with the blanket. He pulls me close to him and holds me. I hear a wolf talking as we lay next to each other. It is not the imperial wolves this time. It is a single wolf talking. “I choose you,” the wolf says to me. I smile as Erick kisses my shoulder. His wolf has chosen me to be his mate.
