● Check up by seven am.

● Meeting by Eleven.

● Spa treatment …

The maid kept on reading from the daily while she combed through her, it had been a week since the entire incident, and that sunny day was the last check up she was having with the doctor.

Already, she was settled in going on with the Logan directive and though she had gone against doing all of that in the past, she wanted to get over this as much as she could.

When she was done, she stood and looked at the maid that was still marking through the list.

“Is that all?"she asked.

The maid tapped her pen on her lips. “Yes, there is nothing more ."

“Call the spa to remind them of our booking.”

The maid walked out and sequentially Logan walked into the room.

He locked eyes with her, surprised that she was all dressed up.

" Is there a party I am not aware of?”

She smiles sheepishly. “Don't tell me I am overdressed for this."

“Nah… " he stood back and studied her from afar.

A low cut dress, nice shoes , full make up… He was prompted to ask. “Where are you going?"

“And I was thinking you were her to drop me off.”

“Oh, yeah … You have an appointment.” He muttered.

She shakes her head.

" I'd go get my keys ."

Her phone buzzed immediately he walked out, once again the caller reminded her there was still a lot she was yet to say.

At the same time, she was having such a good relationship with Logan ever since the incident with the poison and the last thing she Wanted was having to quarrel with him.

She walked to the door, opened and pokes her head out to look in either direction. When she was satisfied, she walked back into the room and shut the door to herself.

“What do you want, Van ?"

She rolled her eyes as she spoke, listening to his rich baritone voice.

He had been in her neck, as a matter of fact the call he made that day had been the reason she had been careless with her meal and almost lost her life.

At this time, she was being extra careful…

“How are you feeling?" The voice came over the phone.

" You didn't call all this while and now you are, what do you really want man?”

She didn't want to judge him, yet for some reason she felt he owed her.

She tried thinking back about the sequence of the entire situation and how furious he would be, while one part of her mind wondered why he was taking too long; another part was weary that he could pop out any moment.

“You have to stop calling."

“This is just a friendly call." Van states with all seriousness.

“I do know that but I honestly don't want to get to any trouble.”

“I wouldn't be calling if you've given me answers to my questions.

It drew a concerned look from her face, she did well know what he was talking about but it seemed like a bad timeline for her to do that.

“To think of what Logan would think of her, he betrayed he would feel."

" So what is your answer, you do well to know that I want the best for you nothing more—”

Once again, the episode is disturbed by a deep breath, she brushed off the heaviness in her heart, she was certain that someone was at the door.

“Give me a minute." She muttered to him before making her way to the door once again

Logan who had been standing at the door is quick to hear her approach, he moves swiftly and hides herself.

He had been there for too long to hear most of everything that had been happening, at first his heart felt a kind of ache as she wondered to himself if everything would ever be perfect between them.

From the dark corridors where he was, he saw her look in either direction.

Infidelity!

Though, the contract they had signed didn't point out that he owned her fully but still he still felt that she was his.

He was provoked, though veiled by the darkness, his heart still echoed heavily when he saw her eyes look in his direction.

Only when she walked back in did she sighed IN relief.

He was hurt, he made his way to the door there he could still hear her speaking to him, the same man he hates.

Anger vented through him, he could have sworn to himself that he would put a bullet through the man's head if he he had the chance.

“I don't know what you want, I told you already I can't see you." Joan's voice was slightly lower.

She had just given him a hint to whatever was in hia mind, he Knew something had been wrong about her being all dressed up could it be that ?

They had frolicked and played in the cool

shaded woods that surrounded their home this alst week, he’d been close to her since all of this and now how does she repay him?

Sensing that he had taken too long, he knocked the door —

She was possibly sensing his inspection of jer, she glanced towards the door and his amber eyes locked on hers.

There was a hard edge about him, a presence that made her feel as if she were pinned in place or he had heard everything.

Slowly she studied her from head to foot before her gaze returned to his face hoping for any hint.

She felt herself flush under his scrutiny. As he flashed a brief smile at her at her eases the the tension.

She sulked. “Why did you take too long."

She turned and fixed herself after a reflection in a nearby mirror showed her long tinted brown hair was ruffled.

He was stunned at her deciet, but it was most certainly not the right time.

“Had to do somethings." He held his hands out

“Can we leave?"
