Chapter 64 She is the Eternity
" What happened to your hand?" Esperanza noticed the binding on his hand, she frowned and abruptly took his hand in hers.
"This happened because I tried to save you," he said.
"To save me! " How?" She was confused and wanted to know.
"By the reason I have that golden fire in my blood, I have destroyed some creatures that bestowed me this," Orion let her know.
"Why did you do that? That wasn't needed. I can heal myself on my own," she let out, and he was not able to figure out her words.
"What did you say?" He asked and wanted to hear it again.
"Let it go, let me see it first," she said and opened his wound.
She took off the binding and found nothing.
"There is nothing,_ she let out and he took his hand from hers
" Where did it go," he was shocked to see a clean hand.
"Is there a wound?" She asked with questionable eyes.
"I make a huge tear with my own hand, and place it directly on your wound," he said and she realized where her wound was.
"How could you? Why did you do that to me?" she asked while touching the place where that wound was present.
"I did not do this with any intention of lust; I was concerned for you," He let out, and his eyes glowed with consideration, and Esperanza was able to see his thoughts as well.
" You do not need to be sorry, that's all right," she said and the burden on his heart released.
As well she knows how his wound had been healed.
" And I have my trust in you, that you have attempted everything to save me," he secured his thoughts, and Orion's lips got wide into a wide smile.
"Nobody ever put their trust in me," Orion said.
" That's because you have never experienced the closeness of anybody," Esperanza said and Orion kept his heart on her words.
" But now I think I am the finest person," He said and she smiled.
" Then you should achieve this relief," she said and he nodded.
They were strolling towards the temple where Yuki was preaching the sentinels of the day.
As they kept moving, a group of children came and stopped their way.
"Satori, he is the monster from last night," that little one said to his big brother, and all the children stared at him with their barely opened eyes, cause their eyes were tingling and adorable.
"We cannot let them roam like this," The elder one said as he narrowed his eyes on Orion, and he smiled.
"Do I still look like a monster? I washed myself so well, to be preferable, but still they are calling me the monster," he let out, and Esperanza chuckled so loud, and those children stopped and got away in her chuckle.
"She is so beautiful," the little one said and they all were not moving their eyes.
" And she has long hair too, they are fluttering," another little one said.
" She has a beautiful smile," another one said.
He was amazed to see her gorgeous laugh; he never saw her laughing this way, and suddenly he felt butterflies in his stomach.
"Hey, lady, are you okay? Is that monster taking you with him?" Those little ones asked and pointed their wand at Orion, and he raised his hands to surrender.
"Is this my end?" He asked Esperanza.
" With these wands, I do not think this is going to be your last day," she replied with a wide smile.
" This is not a joke, we are here to finish you," they said, and Orion stepped back so he could make Esperanza laugh again.
"If you want to, then come forward," he said, and the mob of little boys started running behind him, and he was racing hard to save his life.
Esperanza was standing there laughing so loud and these boys started to enjoy that.
They were running behind Orion as fast as they could, and the whole moment got stretched, and Orion ran towards the woods for the sake of saving his life.
For the first time in his life, he got a chance to live his childhood, even though time has passed, but around her, he feels like himself; he does not have to pretend or do things to be acknowledged.
He denied his childhood all his life; childhood was the season that he never experienced. What is laughter, what is rejoicing, he never learnt.
The only thing he experienced was the precision of his sword, and the strength of his violation.
At his age, he was learning those things that many people forget, which happened with a drop of Esperanza's blood.
His life has been changed a "little bit," it's because the darkness inside his heart is greater than any valuable sentiment.
They were chasing Orion with their wands, they were laughing loudly, and those chipped teeth were visible while showing the peak of their happiness.
Esperanza followed their footsteps and found them just catching Orion.
"Okay, let me tell you one thing, I am not a monster," He said.
" And why would we trust you?" One of the children asks and gives him sideways glances.
"That's the pick," Orion let out and pondered his finger on his chin.
Esperanza followed them and finally succeeded in finding them.
"Hopefully getting here," she took a deep breath and stood there to finish.
'Look, these are the clothes that your Master has bestowed on us." He was trying hard to console himself, and with those children, he was living his childhood again, but this time that was a real childhood.
"Okay, we will let you go, but you need to play with us," the little one said and everyone started to cheer on Orion.
"Okay, I am yours now," he said, and Esperanza was smiling as she encountered his side.
"But now, I have to be with someone special," he said, and they all turned their backs. They saw Esperanza and heard voices of appreciation.
" She is so alluring you need to bind her into a promise," the little one said.
" You liked her a lot?" He asked.
"A lot.....," he replied and Esperanza chuckled.
"We were strolling to the temple, where were you?" Esperanza asked while clearing her throat.
" Oh no! Master Yuki would not forgive us," the elder one said and they let him get away.
"Having ample time, huh?" she said, patting his clothes that had dirt on them.
"I beg your indulgence, but forgive me, please," he said. He took her hand and pecked on it.
"Stop doing this," she said, took her hand, and looked around.
"Where is your friend?" She asked about Felix.
" I do not know," he narrowed his eyes to get a trace of him.
They were walking and again got to the temple, where Yuki was still preaching.
" You should go inside," Orion said, and let her walk inside.
Esperanza moved in and saw Yuki preaching his words to numerous people; she saw them sitting on the floor, and she did the same as others.
As Yuki anticipates her presence, he smiles to appreciate her coming.
"As we all know, the power over others is weak; the real strength is to have power over oneself."
"If a person's mind is untrained it will always be in chaos, and would have anger, pride, desire, and fear, that he could use to destroy others,"
" So this will cost us nothing, a sense of insecurity and a burden of ambiguous feelings, that would stay in your heart,"
" But when you train your mind, it becomes a quiet solace for a person's heart, clear and obliged to virtue."
"A solace over chaos would be a thousand times better,"
"Letting go and forgiving others is the most powerful existence a person could have," Yuki said, and the preaching came to an end.
Esperanza was sitting there waiting for Yuki to gather everything.
The people were surrounding him but he was concerned to answer only one person's questions, who was Esperanza.
" Not today, you are free to go, I will be seeing you in the next lesson," He said and let people go.
Esperanza stood in her place when she saw Yuki coming.
He bowed at her, and she did the same.
" You do not have to," he said and she bestowed him a smile.
"What do you know about me?" She asked.
"That you are eternity to this world," he said and she frowned.
"What does that mean?" She asked and they started taking some little steps.
"Eternity means that your existence has no end, your essence is something that would last forever," he said and she gasped.
" Am I immortal?" She asked and he nodded.
"You are, your powers are immense, your being is monolithic,"
"You are a promise, a hope," Yuki said, and she sensed it inside her.
"But I do not have any clue what you are doing with that demon?" He asked, and she was oblivious about what she had done.
" What do you mean by a demon?" She asks with great perplexity.
"That man you have brought in with you is your greatest enemy, he does not know about your reality, and believe me that moment he came to know he would not let you live for another second,' he said,d and Esperanza was flabbergasted. She frowned and asked abruptly.
"But you said that I am the eternity," she asked.
" How could I die, if I am immortal?" She asked.
"You would not be dead, although you will be getting a chance to live inside him," he said and a chill ran through her body.
