Chapter 59 How can a heart beat when it's already dead
"I know I am a monster, I do not deserve anything in my life, but please save her, I beg you," Orion's heart was pounding as his tear left the boundary of his eye.
Felix confronts seeing his tears for the first time.
" This is the first time you're seeing a demon crying," Felix said, and Yuki heard him.
"Bring her inside," He said and walked in with Felix.
He stepped along with Esperanza in his hands, and felt the quiet that is not empty, but alive.
He saw Felix after clearing his suspicions.
Felix was taking off his cloaks, and took his sword off from his back, and signed him to take them off.
"Why are we doing this?" Orion asks.
" We need to take those impurities out of that sacred place," Felix replied.
" But why is this necessary if those soldiers attack us?" Orion furrowed his brows.
" Maybe they will, but tradition is more important for the people here," Felix said and Orion nodded.
Orion took off from them and walked in.
A divine aura and serenity were breathing here, the hearth and movable were dim and warm.
The place was lit by the rows of lamps and candles, the lamp glows near the wall in golden light, and that was relieving, not for impressing.
There was a statue that was not expressible because Orion had never seen something like that in his entire life.
As he roamed his eyes on the statue, he found the statue's eyes were closed, but it was sleeping, and in awareness, the floor was smooth and uncluttered, and there were soft, shaped bolsters placed on the floor.
"Place her here, " he said, and Orion looked down on the huge leaf of a lotus blossom.
He peeked towards Felix, and he nodded his head.
" Who is she?" Yuki asked first.
"She is a human, we caught up in a fight with the royal dragons, and now she is there, injured," Felix explained.
"Did you force her into the fight?" Yuki asks and then steps towards the garden, where different kinds of herbs are blooming.
"Why would I? However, we went to the kingdom and climbed to the castle so we could save her," Felix explained and Yuki's eyes widened.
" What is a human doing with you?" Yuki asked with a frown and then walked towards the slab to crush those herbs in the motor and pestle.
"We need to remove her clothes," Yuki said and Orion clenched his fist.
"What are you saying Yuki? Why can't we just do it as it is?" Felix asks politely as he sees Orion's reflexes.
" This is necessary, but if your friend feels aggressive over it, then he can smear it over the wound," Yuki said, and Orion's face got flushed.
"We do not have any maidan or lady here to do that, and someone has to," Yuki said and Felix's eyes were wide.
"Do not worry, the body and clothes are both temporary," he said and Orion turned his eyes on him.
"The body is a vessel and a heavy burden on humans and other creatures' lives, and those clothes are temporary; removing them would not change anything," Yuki let out, but Orion was not satisfied with his statement.
" But without concern, doing this is not right; her autonomy is important." Orion let out, and Felix stepped backward to leave that place.
" I am not going to see that, she is yours, do it as you want," Yuki let out and stepped towards Orion, with an unambiguous hint of fear, he handed him the Civara, the robe to cover her.
'But why remove these clothes?" Orion asks to clear out his mind.
"Those clothes are covered in blood; these can eliminate the procedure of recovery, and also in that temple, you need to wear those clothes that will make you inhibit all kinds of impurities," Yuki elaborated, and Orion understood his words.
Yuki was suspiciously staring at Orion, while Orion's eyes were stuck on the cloth that was in his hand.
Suddenly, he looked up and predicted Yuki's suspicious sight.
"What?" Orion asked, and Yuki replied with a smirk," How can a heart beat when it's already dead?" he said it about Orion.
"What do you mean?" Orion asks with a frown.
"You have lost everything, but are still standing so tall," Yuki said and then stopped again.
" You were not the monster, but that world forced you to do this," Yuki said, and Orion looked away.
"She will be alright after that," Yuki said and left the place with a composed smile, Orion turned his eyes towards Esperanza and was determined to do that for the sake of Esperanza's life.
He kneeled and tore the middle of her dress, and looked away while doing that.
"Forgive me for doing this," Orion gasped and gently took her dress off and placed the Civara abruptly on her body, which was exposed, illustrating the beauty, and making him desire her fully.
He placed that paste over her wound and covered it properly, and put back her clothes.
