Chapter 29 The tales of the golden dragon
Caspian walked into Esperanza's house.
" Are you not going to sleep?" Caspian asked.
" How could I?" She replied.
" I know, but you need to be strong, you need to stand strong Esperanza, I am with you,"
"The way you let them taste the pleasure of his deed was incredible," Caspian said.
"But he does not kill my parents," she said and Caspian frowned.
"What are you saying? Then who?" He asked.
" I will find out," Esperanza said.
She said and Caspian was shocked to see her new aura.
" Why do you feel different?" He asked.
" Maybe I am going to be a queen of somewhere," she replied and he smiled.
" Are you really going to be?" He asked.
"Yes, I am, why are you smiling, don't I look like one?" she asked, and Caspian nodded.
"As always," he said, and they both sat on the stairs of the backyard.
" I remember everything," Caspian let out while the breeze was touching their faces.
" You were the only one who was not afraid of me," Esperanza smiles.
" I never thought of that, how could someone so beautiful be dangerous?" he said, and she smiled widely.
"But you were my supporter, I miss those days," Esperanza said and stared her eyes towards the moon.
"I miss them too, maybe that feeling would never be developed," He let out.
" I really hope so, I always wish we would never grow up," she said.
"But we did," He said and smiled.
"You always took a stand for me," she said.
" But you never considered me," he responded.
"I know you do not like me, I know everything, I am not going to force you again, but I want to develop that relationship of respect," He said and she nodded.
"Have you given in to the thought of marrying me?" She asked.
" I did not give in, I thought this was right for us, I do not want you to endure another pain," He said and she looked into his eyes profoundly.
" Maybe the series of pain had just started," she let out.
"Do not think this way, you need to be positive," Caspian said.
"Why do you feel like a new person?" She asked.
"I want to ask the same," he replied and she chuckled.
" Life is getting harsh, every day a new mystery and along with that a gift of pain," she said.
" Your pain will be relieved soon," Caspian said.
"I hope so," she said and stared at the stars.
"You should go, Caspian. We will meet in the morning. Now, I am sleepy," she said, and he nodded.
"I will come to see you, take care, I am around you, call me whenever you want," he assured her, and she nodded.
Ezra was roaming on his bed, his sleep had flown away.
" I need to see her," he said and left his bed.
He dressed in a silk tunic and braies.
He started walking and his soldiers followed him.
"No... Not this time," he said and they stopped.
"And do not tell anyone about me," he said and they nodded.
"This time let me see her all alone," He said and walked out of the castle.
Esperanza was still sitting at the same place and was talking to the stars
" Mother ...... And father, have you also become the stars?" she said and smiled.
"Why? Why did that power not work at that time, I was in extreme need," She started crying.
"Everything is in vain, I got no benefit from having this," she was looking at the stars and talking continuously.
Ezra walked in and found that the house was in a pitiful situation.
But he heard her voice and followed it.
He stopped and suddenly he stepped on a broken vase piece.
She abruptly turns and gives him a frown.
"What are you doing here?" She stood and stood in the distance.
" Esperanza, you do not need to be afraid of me," Ezra was letting it out slowly.
" Why are you not stepping back?" she looks outraged.
"Esperanza please....," he moved to her and clutched her hand.
All of a sudden, she got a pool of pure emotions.
Her heart gets soft for him and she lets him talk.
"Do not do this to me, I can understand you, but I did not do this to you, I cannot even imagine," he said, and she nodded.
"Why are you here?" She asked.
"I was not falling asleep, your tears, your pain were roaming in front of my eyes," he said, and she looked away.
"You are also a merciless dragon," she said.
" What have I done?" He asked.
"You have killed those five dragons in front of me," she let out and he frowned.
"What? You saw me doing that," he was all shocked and she nodded.
"Very clearly," she let out.
"But those were also the cruel ones, you have no idea they have killed plenty of people, humans, dragons, many," he widened his eyes, and she felt the sense of truth in his heart.
"You are.... You are telling the truth," she let out while her eyes were wide open.
"Yes, I am telling the truth," he said and assured her.
"Those barbarians are banished from the kingdom because of their cruelty and awfulness," he said, opening her eyes.
"What you were doing there, you have no idea how cruel they are," Ezra clutched her arms.
" That place is filled with darkness, their death does not mean anything to anybody," Ezra replied.
Esperanza was thinking about Orion, and she discovered the darkness in his heart.
"They are the murderers," Ezra said and suddenly this clicks into her mind.
This means someone from them has killed him," Esperanza said.
"They can do that," Ezra said and Esperanza was all stunned.
" I am not that kind of person, I would never do this to innocent people," Ezra said.
Esperanza found that Ezra was not lying, but there was someone who needed to clear himself.
"What is going on in your mind?" Ezra asked.
" Something concerning, I do not know what is going on with me," Esperanza said.
"Something special is surrounding you, that golden light has never been seen after a hundred years," He said.
"For a hundred years.......?" She was shocked.
" Do you want to know about this?" He asked and she nodded.
"So let me tell you the tales of the Golden Dragon,"
"We have an ancient library in our castle, do you read?" He asked and she nodded.
"Yes, I have learned language from local house acquisition," she said.
"I can read and write, in some instances," she said.
"Perfect, this is all I need," Ezra said.
" Can you tell me something about the golden dragon?" She asked the most burning question.
" I can tell you everything," Ezra let out with a smile.
" The Golden dragon, the most powerful and glorious creature of this world," Ezra said.
"He has an ascendancy of creating breeds of Dragons, then he created all of us, different kinds of different powers, different extents of royalty,"
"That world started breathing and prosperity started to bloom."
" But while creating the different breeds of Dragon he created the most precarious one, "
"The dragon of a psychic demon let out," and Esperanza was curious to know more.
"The most perilous ones, the golden dragon never know that they are going to be betrayed by their special ones, "
"Those dragons of psychic demons were obedient towards the golden dragon but they were reproducing and creating more demons to fight against the power of the Golden Dragon."
"They wanted to snatch the powers of the golden dragon and take over the royalty, but with the passing time the Golden Dragon understood the betrayal,"
"They wanted to change to get the royalty but the golden dragon decided to grant the royalty to the most generous one,"
"And they were the dragons of water and sun," the story started to get interesting.
"They were betraying and were aiming to snatch the powers of the golden dragon, but he showed them who they really are, just servants who provide the Golden Dragon,"
" And here was our first King who appealed for the dragons to give them the shape of humans,"
"The fire of revenge burst into their hearts," He said.
" And from that day they become their enemies and they blast a war,"
"They started killing all the dragons, and were coming for the Golden dragon,"
"There was a whole castle of the golden dragon, but we lost it in this world."
" Before they attacked them, he froze the kingdom and hid it away from everyone."
" And that place is called the Arctic flaming descend," He let out and her eyes went wide.
"That place, I... I want to see this place," She said, and made him frown.
"And I think you are the descendant of the golden dragon," he let out and her breath stumbled.
"How could it be," Esperanza was stunned and flabbergasted.
"You are surely the descendant of the golden dragon, no one can see that golden shine in our eyes that have been bestowed by the golden Dragon," Ezra said and she frowned.
" So whom he married to?" She asked.
"He married the dragon of Aura reading, who can read the soul of anyone, he said and she found out about it."
"I did not step back because I wanted to protect you, besides you do not want to see my face,"
" But I know you need me, but I want you to not trust anyone around you," Ezra said.
"My heart says that you can read the souls as well, and that's why you are walking with me," Ezra said and she looked away.
" Is this happening to you?" He asked and she nodded.
" I am scared," she stopped and tears started to fall from her eyes.
"Hey, Esperanza, you need to be strong, you have to uncover many mysteries. If you act like this, then this would get difficult for you," he said.
