No one expected him to die. At least not so soon. We all stared at the grave in shock, most of us still trying to process how It was that he had fallen sick without any of us ever knowing.

Karina wailed softly in a corner.

" I knew from the second you came into this house that you would not rest until someone dies" Karina said, her shaky hands pointing at where I stood.

" Don't do that Karina. You know he died of an heart attack. She has nothing to do with this" 

Karina rolled her eyes, cleaning off her smudged eye liner as she turned to look at me again.

" Oh please. Should we act like we all did not see the chaos her presence brought? How many times did we have a fight because of her? The truth is inevitable".

I did not say anything. Knowing what I knew now, it was only a matter of time before the truth came out. And I was going to have a fun time exposing the killer of Lilian and now, Karina husband, Mr Knight.

" Well now we can move on to the discussion chambers for the will reading if everyone is done with what they have to say" mia said, her voice steady, hands trying to reach for Karina but she pulled away briskly, scoffing 

"His body is barely cold but all you care about is his will? Why the hell are y'all so into his wealth? He will be turning in his grave right now knowing that everyone he called family only wanted him for his money".

" Karina! That's enough. I lost someone special too. He was my brother..but you just can't keep doing all of this and expecting us to not sys anything about it. If you don't want to attend the will reading, sure. Do you. But we will all be heading in to hear what the lawyer has to say..you can stay out here and cry with the body if you want to." Mia's husband said.

I burst into a hidden smile.

This was about to get more interesting.

Narim and I exchanged a knowing look as we walked into the living room with the rest of them, the lawyer already tugging at the papers when we sat down.

Aunt Loretta was restless..she knew we would be revealing who killed Lilian today, but we had refused to tell her who it was. 

" Can we just go on already?" She finally spoke, turning the attention to herself as some of them grumbled.

The lawyer cleared his throat, picking up his will.

" So these are the divisions. To my first brother, and his wife, I leave the company in bali and my stack of memorial pictures"

" To my sister, Loretta who has it all already, I leave good will and my yacht so she can tour the world that she always dreamed of"

" To my wife, I leave the mansion and ten million dollars for her fashion business and to my son, and his wife Mia. I leave my sixteen estates both overseas and in the country, my six companies and the sum of thirty million dollars"

The lawyer cleared his throat as it to snap all of them from the trance he just placed them in.

" That's it. That's the will".

" Wait...what? Mr Knight never liked quan, there is no way he is leaving that much to him. And the mansion? Why the hell would he leave that to me?" Karina was saying, her facade of the good wife slipping as fast as she held onto it.

" What the hell do you mean by that?! He was my father of course he loved me!" 

I signalled to Narim and he sighed.

" But is that not what you wanted though mia? You already got everything you wanted. So why are you sitting so glum in the corner" Narim asked.

I leaned into the seat, letting him talk, settling in for the show I knew was coming.

" What the hell is he yapping about? He is not even family so why is he present in the will reading?" Karina asked.

" Well because I'm here to reveal the truth about what really happened to Lilian and now, Mr Knight".

" Get out, we don't want to hear it" quan yelled.

" Oh but your wife will love this story. After all, she is not only having an affair with your father, she is also having an affair with his brother's wife." 

The whole room froze. I smiled.

This was good. More entertaining than I thought.

Quan paused.

" Wait...what?"

" Oh and she also killed Lilian for Mr Knight because Mr Knight wanted to lay claim on the wealth of aunt Loretta which automatically goes to him if she doesn't have a heir.

Then he found out about her relationship with another woman and he flips out, and threatens to tell everyone that she killed Lilian and send her to jail, so she poisons him, but you seee, Mr Knight was a smart man. Because he knew this was going to happen and he sent me a detailed document containing her misdeeds and proof that she not only killed Lilian, but also rigged the will to give everything to her husband." 

Mia jumped up, her eyes filled with horror now as she fought for words.

Aunt Loretta was on her feet too, slowly walking over to where she stood, shocked to her bones.

" You cried the hardest at Lillian's burial. You even begged me for one of her paintings to take with you and you gifted it to Karina!" 

Oh, that was how Karina came to have a painting of Lilian. She was never the killer.

" I don't understand what is going on, let's all calm down please and show me the goddamn proof!" Quan said 

Narim was enjoying this a little too much, he threw a bunch of files and a flash drive at him, smirking.

" This is just a photocopy by the way. The original has been sent to the police and they should be on their way here by now. You should be thankful in fact, she was going to kill you after giving you all the wealth because she knew nonone would believe Mr Knight gave all that money to the wife of his son, but it was more believable if it was his son. So she rigged it, gave it to you with the intention to kill you later and get back everything. You are welcome"

The whole room descended in uproar. Mia was crying, Karina was cursing and I.....I was smiling.
