In the courtyard outside of the Capital, Concubine Bai and Consort Mia were imprisoned inside a woodshed, unbeknownst to them, Former Emperor Jong was outside listening to them arguing.

"This is all your fault to begin with! If not because of your greediness, this won't happen to us!" Concubine Bai shouted at Consort Mia.

"I indeed scheme against you to be with the man I like, Is it bad? You are the one who cause yourself trouble, if you became obedient enough while Emperor Jin was still on his throne, you should've at least save enough wealth to live by yourself with your daughter, but what did you do?! You runaway! Such small brain without use! And now you're blaming me? Dumby!" Consort Mia roared at her in return.

"I hate you so much! Why don't you just die?!" Concubine Bai shouted in agitation, she cannot rebut at all.

"We will die soon, you just have to wait, you provoke the wrong person while my daughter and son, failed. Your daughter will be the next target. I will assure you that Han Kana isn't a simple enemy!" Consort Mia snorted and look away.

"You!" Concubine Bai wanted to curse but she lacked of words to say, Consort Mia is right.

"Yes, what I am? At least, If I die, I already experienced all the glory of life, I was once a favorite of the Emperor, a dignified and respected Consort, but what about you? From an Imperial Concubine to a Minister Main Concubine, and now, you're going to die? What a twist!" Consort Mia taunt her even more making Concubine Bai huffed in anger.

"Today, Han Kana will be named as the new Empress... But we are not sure if your daughter will remain in her prestige, I heard that she planned to spread rumors about the Han family. Tsk tsk, such a young but vicious lady, too bad she won't live any longer." Consort Mia faked a sigh and laugh like a mad woman.

That's it, Concubine Bai lost it, she grabbed Consort Mia's neck and choke her.

Former Emperor Jong just watch the two fight, and he chuckled on himself.

"You two hot blooded women, you need to cool down a little, here drink this tea."

He offered them two tea cups filled with sweet scented tea.

Seeing the man they admire for a long time, Concubine Bai and Consort Mia didn't hesitate to take the cup and drank the content in one gulp.

Shortly after that, Concubine Bai's poison in her body relapse while Consort Mia began to hallucinate, calling his son and daughter and also the dead prime Minister.

"Your Majesty... I know you put something on the tea that's why I didn't hesitate to drink, I want this suffering to end... Can you please tell my daughter to give up revenge and live a good life?" Concubine Bai pleaded.

Former Emperor Jong just nodded faintly before turning his back along with Xiumin, they rode their horse to the Palace to witness the Coronation ceremony of Empress Han.

But the scene welcomes them was funny.

The people around began to whisper how come the Former Emperor is alive, they grieve for nothing!

"You shameless old man!" Minister Han scolded him loudly.

"Shut your smelly mouth!"Former Emperor Jong scolded him back.

Imperial Concubine Lili saw that the Former Emperor is alive, she concluded that he might not know what happened, then she called him right away.

"Imperial Father!" she looked really pitiful, her doe eyes filled with tears.

But Former Emperor Jong was known to be a cold and ruthless person, he retorted, "Who is your Imperial Father?!"

The moment he said that, laughter roared.

"What a shameless woman." Sheen snorted.

"Arrest the Imperial Concubine and her servant, look for Xiao Mei and arrest her as well, lock them up in the dungeon!" Kana blurt out the order and guards move immediately.

"Wait, I have something to say to the Imperial Concubine," Former Emperor Jong halted them, "Your mother is dying, before I left them she's fighting with her sister Mia so probably she's dead now, she said that you should forget revenge and live a good life, but how can you do that in the dungeon? Tsk, such a pity, young lady with a vicious and evil heart. Take her away!"

The Imperial guards dragged them away.

Emperor Sunwoo proceeded the rest of the ceremony and they are all done and ready to join the eating part of the celebration but an Imperial guard shouted to alarm them.

"Your Majestys, this is not good! The entire capital is surrounded with soldiers wearing the insignia of the Third prince! They breach the Capital gates!"

Emperor Sunwoo heave a high of disbelief.

"Old third really disappointed me. Ministers and Officials along with your families, go inside the Heavenly Hall. Commander V, I'll trouble you to assist the commoners to go back to their homes, they should not be hurt. Imperial Father, I need your help, the soldiers are on their way here but they won't come today."

"Small thing!" Former Emperor Jong shoot a red flare to the sky to call his men, even though he isn't the ruler anymore, he has his own private army, hiding in the dark.

Kana didn't want to left behind.

"Yoongi! Assemble the top archers of Dark Knights, position in the Palace towers, shoot and kill. Sheen, give me my sword, I will behead him myself. And Xiao Yue, I'll trouble you to fetch Lady Pleng and take her in the Heavenly Hall."

"Yes!" The three kneeled in one knee and put their fist on their chest before they left for their task.

Former Emperor Jong smiled in approval, "Really fitted as an Empress."

"Let's flatter each other after we settle this matter, let's go!" Emperor Sunwoo held Kana in his hand and walk to the Heavenly Hall.

"Yes let's go," Former Emperor Jong held hands as well with the Empress Dowager.

PHOENIX PALACE

Lady Pleng is leisurely lying in the soft cushion in her courtyard when Xiao Yue jump in from the window.

"Her Majesty, Empress Han asked for Lady Pleng to go to the Heavenly Hall this instant."

Lady Pleng frown when she heard that, Kana didn't want to expose her "death", but now she was called to that area? What happened?

Xiao Yue noticed her confusion hence she randomly said, "Third Prince has breach the capital. He's now on his way to attack the palace."

Lady Pleng felt like her world stops to evolve and she was hit by a raging lightning.
