Embrace the light (clairvoyant)-Chapter 21. Creep Alert

That morning I wasn't feeling it, my body was a bit feverish. I slowly got up and went to the bathroom. Moments later I went to Milo's room to let him out and explore the house, while I clean his litter spot.

I was making our coffee, when I feel him behind me. His arms circled my waist, while he kissed the back of my neck lovingly.

"Morning baby you smell so good..." he inhaled my neck while trailing his sexy kisses, and letting his hand roamed from my waist to my belly, to just under my boobs.

"Morning Walt..." I moaned my morning greeting, I could feel him smiling on my neck.

"... I have my period today." I said to him, making him groaned. I giggled to his reaction.

"That's not what I'm implying when I told you that."

"Huh? What is it then?" I teased him, while handing his morning coffee.

"I didn't mean that I think of sex every time I look at you, well mostly... you're just too damn sexy baby..." he smirked, while sipping his first dose of morning coffee. He was not letting his hand off of me, and kept on caressing my waist.

Mmmm... this feels nice...

"Just to let you know, that I'm more sensitive to them when I'm on my period. Just for a couple of days, then I'm back to normal."

"Right, and what does this sensitivity entailed to? the lanky man? would he be a problem to you?" he asked me looking a bit worried.

"Not if I'm in the house I guess, it's safe. I just need you to check on the barrier and I'll be limiting my outing at night time for the next few days, but I'm good with the day light." I told him as I put my cup on the counter and roamed my hands to his chest.

For the last couple of weeks, we had fallen back to our routine, where we would take care of Milo in the morning, and have our breakfast in a coffee shop or diner near the clinic, then he would drop by for a sexy lunch making Ralph jealous at our intimate times.

After office hour, he would pick me up at four then we would go straight back to his place, in exception for the three times a week of his gym schedule. Then we would enjoy our quiet afternoon time with Milo, as we lay and cuddle on the sofa, while we watched some Netflix or the evening news.

His schedule at the clinic was on and off. Because he was actually very busy at the hospital, since one of his colleague was on maternity leave, making him had to take in all of her clients. But Gabby and Ralph seem to managed just fine without Walter, they would hold meetings and group sessions without him, and people would leave the clinic looking content and more relaxed.

Walter and I were doing our usual schedule, but that afternoon our lunch was interrupted by a phone call from Dave, the detective who was handling Marie's case, the entity of a woman who previously haunt the ladies room.

"Baby, I need to see Dave... I will pick you up at four." He told me in a hurry and kissed me, then leave me with Ralph and Gabby for another boring afternoon.

"You know you should be glad that you can finally spend some quality afternoon lunch with us." Ralph tried to cheer me up, after loosing Walter to Dave. But then Gabby slapped the back of his head, making me laughed.

"You guys! thanks for cheering me up, and Ralph... yes I should be thankful to spend more time with you guys. So, what do you ordinary people usually do on your lunch break?" I teased them making Gabby laughed, and Ralph pouted adorably.

The whole afternoon was spent with laughter, where we talk about small unimportant happenings in life, then we talked about the supernaturals and get more serious into our discussion.

"Wait, so you have your own supernatural stalker? Damn woman... you seriously should keep Walter around, he's the only one I know who have the ghostly super power." Ralph stated looking at me intently. But then gabby nudged him with a look in her eye.

"What is it Gabby?" I asked her curiously.

"No... sorry, I didn't mean to Florence, it's just that Walter has been through a lot, and I mean tremendously lots. Sometimes I feel the need to protect him, but seeing him with you made me realize that he has been really happy for the past few weeks that he's with you."

"Aww Gabby..." I hugged her motherly figured body, her warmth engulfed me, I could feel her love. Her aura was surrounding her beautifully, she was one of those genuinely nice person who you don't get to meet a lot these days.

"I feel that you truly care about him, I thank you for all of those times that you've been there for him. Your love have helped him cope, he had lost a lot. The first time my skin accidentally touched his, I was hit with a tremendous feeling of sadness that almost made me fall. I could still feel it from time to time, but I think he's happier, I hope he's happier." I smiled at her and hugged her again.

"Hey, enough with sappy stuff. Break time is over, let us ordinary people get back to work. Geez, one of these days, I just hope you girls can talk about me." Ralph muttered while tidying his lunch and throwing it away the trash bin. Gabby smiled at me and hugged me back, then we both laughed at Ralph.

Gabby started the session without Walter, there was only a small group today. Ralph was helping out with the newbies, I was assisting him as usual. Then on the corner of my eye I could see a bulky, shady looking man seating down, joining in our group session. I looked at Ralph and nudged him to the shady looking man. I didn't know how, but I just have a bad feeling about him.

"Him? he's... John, erm right sounded like a doe and looked like one too."

Ralph was nodding his head in agreement.

"Just stay close to me okay? I'm sure it's just one of those funky feelings. You're safe here, Walter will have my ass if anything happened to you under my watch." Ralph gave me his brotherly side hug, and we continue on with the group session. The shady John guy didn't talk, he didn't share anything with us though Gabby asked and pushed him too, he just stay quiet telling her that he would like to listen in first. But he would look at me from time to time.

Creep alert... damn, I wish Walt was here...

Then the session was over, and everyone had gone home including the creepy guy. I could finally sigh and relax, while waiting for Walter to pick me up.
