Amelia's p. o. v
"You think you are special isn't it?" The Delta asked seriously as he stepped on my already injured leg brutally.
I bit my lower lip refusing to scream as a drop of blood trailed on my chin.
My cheeks were wet with tears and my breath labored.
"I knew it, boys. The alpha was too lenient with this trash." He said to the two warriors who had caught and dragged me into the dungeon.
"What will be her punishment?" The other three behind asked.
"Oh, this will be so damn good to watch. Let's wait and see." He answered happily.
When the room instantly went quiet and strong pheromones filled the whole area I feared for my life.
I quickly faced the ground and moved backward hitting the wall.
"Leave." Came a strong command.
Everyone quickly left without a word. I too wanted to go out of the room but I couldn't. Not only would the alpha murder me, my legs were badly injured.
"To think my little slave would run away after accepting you." He said huskily.
I looked up and faced him seriously.
I had no choice, it was either me going through hell or dying.
"You have never wanted me, why not let me go, Ian, Sherry will....."
I swallowed my words when a painful slap touched my cheek.
For a second my vision got blurry and a ringing sound in both ears was all I could hear. I inhaled the scent of blood and felt it in my mouth.
I swallowed painfully and tried to move when I was grabbed by the hair and forced on my feet.
I tried pushing the hand from my hair but the grip only got tighter, hurting me even more.
I was screaming and begging in pain as I struggled to keep up.
He was dragging me out of the dungeon without a care and walking at his own pace. A few times I fell down, I was forced up and dragged even worse than before. My wolf was growling in anger but she couldn't seem to take over or save us.
My cries were getting louder and my body was badly trembling.
He walked into the pack house and went straight to his room pushing me roughly on his bed.
I watched in tears while shaking my head as he took off his shirt.
"I was too kind to you wasn't I?" He asked as his eyes switched between a shade of red and their original color.
I was about to move from the bed and run away when he grabbed my foot pulling me flat on the bed.
Before I could try again, his weight was pressed against my frame. His hand moved on my mouth violently covering it while his other hand went to my clothes ripping them off leaving me bare and exposed.
"Raping you is all I can do to calm me down." He whispered as I shook my head violently and tried fighting him off. He moved his hand from my mouth and wrapped it around my neck choking me.
"My wolf was too stupid to think good of you." He whispered as I clawed his hand but he couldn't budge.
"Yo.. u promised, you promi.. sed." I forced the words out in pain.
His facial expression instantly changed.
He groaned loudly and moved both of his hands to his head as he closed his eyes.
His weight was still on me and I couldn't find a way out. When he dropped his hands and looked at me sadly, my tears turned into tears of relief.
His eyes were completely a shade of red.
It wasn't Ian anymore but Axel.
He sighed softly and moved his hand to touch my cheek when I shut my eyes in fear and tensed.
"I'm sorry." He whispered.
I opened my eyes and looked at him in shock.
He was sitting upright and he had tears filled in his eyes, his hands were slightly trembling too.
"Ian will kill you no matter how much I try to stop him, for now, he is pushed back into our subconscious. But if he does have the strength to take over again, he really will kill you because he feels very much betrayed and furious. Not a second ago he had accepted you in front of Nana, but everything now is messed up, he won't believe in you or my words." He said as a tear rolled on his cheek.
He looked at his hands sadly then at my neck.
"I have never dreamt of ever hurting my mate no matter how upset. This is a nightmare." He whispered as my heart ached.
It was the first time I was seeing an alpha cry. Not only was it unheard of, I didn't know what to do.
"He tried to kill you." He whispered as my wolf loudly whimpered.
I find myself moving and sitting upright without a second thought and embracing him.
I feared and hated Ian but not Axel.
He pulled back and wiped off his tear.
"Neo." He called loudly while grabbing a bedsheet and wrapping it around my naked body.
"The time is now before Ian takes over ." He said confusing me.
The door opened and the Beta walked in. One look at Axel had him bearing his neck in respect.
"Drive her out of this pack." He ordered shocking me.
The Beta too couldn't hide the shock on his face. He was looking at us with disbelief.
"Alpha... Did you just order me to..."
"I won't say it twice Vision. Ian will kill our mate and we will never make it through knowing that we did. If we would carry such guilt in our life, it would kill us way before the curse." He said then lifted his hand and pressed it on my cheek gently.
"I'll put my whole trust in you, to make sure that your human Neo follows my orders through without betrayal." He said as the beta's eyes glowed golden yellow. His wolf was definitely the one present after being called by its name.
"Yes, Alpha. I will make sure that he carries out your order." He answered.
"Good, take her to the human territory. Once you are sure that she has crossed the border, let her find her own way through. You shouldn't see where she goes, that way Ian won't know too. Also, hand her a check, five million dollars should be enough for her to survive. Now go and get the car ready." He ordered.
"Yes alpha." He answered then quickly walked out.
I was shocked over everything but above all sad in some way.
He leaned in slowly and pressed his forehead against mine.
"I wanted you with me. Even now I truly want you by my side. Sadly I can't let him hurt you." He whispered then pressed his lips against mine.
I found myself closing my eyes and kissing him back.
It was a slow yet tender kiss. When I tasted the saltines on my lips I opened my eyes and looked at Axel who had tears on his cheeks.
He wiped them off and stood up facing me.
"Now to make it right..." He trailed off and sniffed.
"I AXEL, ALPHA OF THE ....."
"No." I screamed on top of my voice cutting him off.
My heart was hurting badly and the fear I was feeling was way stronger than when Ian had dragged me.
"I'm doing it for your own good." He said as I shook my head.
"Please don't reject us." I cried.
It was going to be so painful for both me and my wolf and we didn't want to let go of Axel. He was what we had always wanted.
"You will never be happy if you remain mated to us, we will always be unfaithful to you and one day Ian might find you and still want you dead. Can't you see that I'm trying to protect you?" He asked loudly.
I moved from the bed with wobbly legs, grabbing the wrapped sheet tightly against my chest.
I stood in front of him and forced a smile on my face.
"But my wolf and I want to love you even if we never cross each other's paths. Axel, you accepted me when no one did. You needed me and tried your best as a mate in just a short time, I love you and I would love to be with you. That's why I can't accept your rejection." I said honestly in a cracked voice.
The door opened and the Beta walked in.
"Everything is set alpha." He said calmly.
Axel smiled then leaned in kissing my forehead and pulled back.
"Thank you." He said before pushing me slightly towards his Beta.
"Take her." He ordered.
The beta grabbed my hand and lifted me up without a word. As he walked out I couldn't help but sob while my wolf howled in sadness.
I had lost both of my mates, I truly was unlucky to be born.
I didn't want to look at him because my heart and body were begging me to stay back and beg Ian to take us as we were even if it meant us dying.
