Amelia's p. o. v
"Amelia, are you going to sleep in bed the whole day?" Toni asked beside me in concern.
Yes, I was!. After yesterday's incident, I was angry with myself and them. But above all, I didn't want to get on those stupid girls' bad side.
"You heard that elderly woman's words. We are better off here and much safer." I answered, then turned on the bed and faced the other side.
"For goodness sake Amelia that was yesterday in the afternoon. Now it's evening, it's a different day!. Moreover, she emphasized not to walk out on the night of the full moon, and it's not yet the night of the full moon. You refused to go downstairs to the kitchen or eat anything as well!" She exclaimed.
"That's because I'm not hungry." I answered simply.
"Then take a bath, that's the least you can do." She said seriously.
I sighed loudly then sat upright and faced her.
"Do they share the bathrooms like they share the kitchen?" I asked.
"Yes, here they share everything apart from the bedrooms." She answered.
"Then I'm fine not bathing." I answered while I lay back.
"Are you kidding me!. I let you sleep in my room because I understood that you had a rough day, but this time I am not going to permit you to sleep here without bathing." She said strongly.
I sat upright and got off the bed slowly.
"Has it gone that far?" I asked in a low tone.
"Yes, it has. Now go on and take a bath." She ordered.
"Fine, but I won't go alone." I answered.
She rolled her eyes then walked to the door and opened it.
"What are you waiting for, Let's go." She said
I quickly got up with a smile and walked to her.
"Thank you," I answered.
She laughed then grabbed my hand while we walked out.
"You don't have to be afraid of anything." She whispered when we walked into the passage the other way we had not gone to. The doors went on with the numbers the further away we went.
I read door 100 silently in shock. How many rooms did they build for the she-wolves, they really were sick in their heads.
"Hey," she whispered.
I looked ahead and saw a huge door in front of us.
"This is it." She announced.
"Okay, let's go in," I said.
"No silly, you are the one going in. I will wait outside here for you to finish." She answered.
I nodded happily then quickly walked in.
The first thing I noticed was a huge long mirror in front of me. It was clean without a single spot. Next to it were small shelves that went from the top to the ground. And on those shelves were all kinds of soaps, oils, and shampoos.
Behind me were see-through glass doors and I could see the showers in there through the mirror.
The floor had black towels as well as the walls and there was a fresh scent filled in the air.
I quickly took off my clothes, moved, and grabbed a bottle of shampoo and a bar of soap.
"This should be enough," I whispered to myself while I quickly rushed into the shower putting the soap and shampoo on the ground next to me then turning on the water.
A giggle escaped me when cold water poured on my body.
It had been exhausting yesterday and since our pack was ambushed, I didn't have time or thoughts of taking a bath. The only thing that went through my mind was the need to survive.
I picked up the soap and rubbed it on my skin over and over again. I wanted to feel and look clean, not for anyone but myself. I blushed when the thought of my mate looking at me with lust popped into my mind. It would mean nothing to him seeing me dressed up and looking clean, sadly I couldn't help myself.
After making sure my body was clean enough. I put the bar down and picked up the shampoo pouring some in my hand and putting the bottle down.
"You are doing it for yourself." I whispered then rubbed the shampoo in my hair roughly then slowed down my movements to rinse it off.
What exactly was Ian suffering from?. To me he looked very healthy, not to forget his asshole side. He was more than okay in my eyes and an alpha being sick was unheard of, if not impossible.
I opened my eyes with a low sigh and closed the tap. I was still feeling concerned and bothered by Nana's words. I needed to find a way to know what he was going through.
The sound of the door closing quickly got my attention. I frowned then turned.
"Hello," I called.
When a minute went by I decided to call again.
"Hello, is anyone there?" I called louder than the first time.
When no response came. I walked to the glass door and opened it.
I couldn't sense anyone or hear any breathing, that itself made me feel uncomfortable, so I decided to go out and make sure if it was all in my head or not.
I slowly began going through the bathrooms, checking if someone was in. After a few minutes of going through all of them, I decided to call out again.
"Is anyone there?" I asked but no response came back.
I looked at the floor where I had put my clothes on when I noticed that they weren't there.
I frowned while walking back and forth to see if I had put them elsewhere.
The clothes couldn't just vanish from nowhere.
"Toni," I whispered, then quickly rushed to the main door and opened it, peeking to see if she was still there.
To my surprise, she wasn't and the passage was dark because the lights were now turned off. Luckily I could see clearly through my wolf's eyes.
I could feel that something was wrong, but I wasn't going to sit back until morning. The floor was cold and there weren't any towels in the damn room for some reason. Staying in here was more dangerous than taking the risk of walking back to Toni's room.
I closed my eyes for a second, gathering my courage then opened them.
I slowly walked out of the bathroom.
"It will be okay," I told myself as I moved ahead.
"Now!" A voice yelled startling me as the lights turned on and the doors opened.
A few ladies and some warriors came out laughing. I quickly went down to my knees wrapping my arms around me to cover my nakedness.
"Look at her ugly body, ew it's even covered in bruises." The blond lady screamed as their loud laughter grew.
Tears filled my eyes as I looked at all of them.
I was a joke to them and seeing me this embarrassed was fun for them.
"I told you I would cheer you up, Piet." The blond lady said as the huge warrior next to her smirked then grabbed her by the shoulder and pushed her forward for a simple kiss.
"You sure made my day, as well as my friends." He said as tears rolled on my cheeks.
