Chapter 10

He had golden eyes and dark brown hair, which was tousled. He was leaning with his folded hands on the door, wearing a red t-shirt and navy blue jeans. And as I watched him, his golden eyes studied me, and I shifted uncomfortably. Suddenly I grew too self-conscious, and running my hands through my hair, I saw that I was wearing clothes, a t-shirt, and shorts. I was naked the last time we met.

"She too can stay here. There's nothing to worry about." He said and walked over to us. I swallowed. I looked at Rosa, who was looking at him dreamily.

"Rosa told me you got me out. Thank you very much. How did you do it?"

He smiled, sitting at the edge of the bed, and then leaned over and kissed me deeply. I thought I would just drown before he plucked himself off.

"Like this?" He said.

"What do you mean?" Rosa asked, rather loudly.

"I bought her for a week." He replied to her patiently.

"What?"

"You what?"

Mine and Rosa's voice echoed.

"Yes, I had to spend a fortune, but I managed to buy you." He replied so calmly as if talking about a new fancy shirt.

"I thought you were getting her out of there!" Rosa yelled.

"And I did." He shrugged.

"For a week! And why? So only you can fuck me all week long?" I yelled, getting hysterical at his patience. And to my pleasure, his face twisted in indignation.

"When did I ever fuck you?" He didn't raise his voice, but it was cold, which sent chills through my body.

He came closer to me again, so close that his face to mine was only two centimeters apart.

"And if I wanted to fuck you all week long, I would have done at the hotel as well. I wouldn't spend twice the money to get you home." He said, and then he got off the bed and began walking to the door.

"Wait! Then what do you want?" Rosa called.

"Not in the mood to talk anymore." He said, and we heard a door adjacent to our room's shut with a bang.

"Fuck!" Rosa cursed. "Where have we dragged ourselves into?"

All I could do was cover my face and try to shut reality away. It's stupid, I know. But everything around me was stupidly messed up.

Rover was holding me and licking my midriff. A Stamp Man came, and he stamped both of my breasts with Firecracker marks. Rover got my panties off, and I seemed to have frozen. He took the stamp from the Stamp Man and grinned a demonic smile.

"I will stamp you everywhere, to make you understand that you are mine now, that you are a Firecracker." He said, and I felt the stamp go inside me, down my vagina, and I felt such pain that I shrieked at the top of my lungs. Then I saw Millie, her face too close to me, and I shrieked again, staggering back.

Heaving, I realized she wasn't Millie. She was plump and in a white apron. Not Millie. And Rover wasn't here and not the Stamp Man. All of it was a dream. I am here at—

Where am I?

Yes! Roy's house where he bought me and house locked me without revealing why.

Rosa?

"Where's Rosa?" I asked the lady.

"She is in the Master's room." She curtsied, and I couldn't help but frown.

"It's time for dinner, ma'am. Master had asked me to get you dressed."

She revealed a blue strap dress made of glossy silk and smiled weakly.

"I am not wearing that. I am not his slave who will decorate myself for his amusement." I said firmly.

"Master said you'd say this. He said if you won't wear it, he'll come and change you himself, given that he has already seen you naked." She said coyly.

Fuming, I snatched the dress and rushed to the bathroom.

As I stood there showering, I saw the mark on my breast. The Firecracker mark. I took the soap and rubbed it forcibly on my boob. It got off a little, but not enough. I took more soap and rubbed. After fifteen minutes, there was a dark red spot due to my continuous rubbing, but the mark was gone.

I came out wearing the dress which surprisingly fit me perfectly, and looked at myself in the mirror. It looked stunning. I never thought I could look so much prettier. I reached for my back in search of a price tag, but of course, there wasn't any. Yet the dress looked really expensive.

Don't get swayed by expensive gifts! You have to find a way to run away, I reminded myself.

I walked over to peep out of the window and saw a beautiful ocean that caressingly brushed its shores. The ocean seemed four stories away.

"Planning to jump?" I heard a voice, and I literally jumped in fright.

A hand wrapped around me, digging the fingers in my waist, and I opened my eyes, and I swore my heart skipped a beat.

I was leaning half out of the window, and I could see Roy's golden eyes shining in my blacks.

"Ooh. I didn't know you were serious." He joked and I swallowed.

He pulled me back into the room, tucked the strands of my hair behind my ear, and kissed me.

Taken over my passion, I kissed him back and regretted it soon after.

He pulled back smiling, his eyes looking into mine as if he could see my embarrassment.

"Shall we?" He asked, offering his hand, and I began to walk away, out of the room, leaving him behind.

I stopped outside the room since I found myself in a corridor and was unaware of in which direction to move. I turned to my left and began walking when I heard Roy's 'ahem.'

"This way, Madame." He said, motioning to the right, and I followed. He had this small smile that said he was enjoying himself, and I hated it! I hated him for enjoying it.

As we walked the spirals of glass stairs, I couldn't help but gasp at the immensity of the house. The banister was beautifully carved, and below I could see Rosa sitting in a red dress, chatting with the lady who gave me the dress earlier. She was smiling.

Was I the only one not happy or enjoying it? Was I the only one sane?

I could see the floors were marble, and there were glass pillars.

There was literally a dining room. I had only seen such things in movies.

On the last flight of stairs, he slipped his hand into mine and held it firm, that I didn't dare to rebel.

As we reached the dining table, Rosa gasped, watching me, and smiled broadly.

The dining table was quite long and smelled of delicious food.

Roy sat at the head of the table and asked me to sit on his right. Hell, he even pulled the chair out for me.

The lady, I really have to learn her name, served us soup, and I prayed it was only a starter, to be followed by the main course, because I was starving.

As the soup touched my lips, I moaned. It was the best soup I ever tasted.

"I bet you didn't get good food there!" Rosa replied, tasting her soup, and I couldn't help but wince. My life being a Firecracker was the last thing I wanted to talk about.

"There was. I just couldn't eat anything there." I replied.

"What do you want from us?" I asked Roy, who looked surprised by the question.

"Right now, I just want to have dinner." He replied innocently.

"So we can't talk?" I asked.

"Of course we can." He said with a twinkle in his eyes, and I couldn't help roll mine.

"You said you would help me get Scarlet out of that hell." Rosa continued. Roy opened his mouth to reply, but I cut him off.

"Yes, I know you did, but only for a week! I'll have to go back there after a week of semi-freedom. Why are you teasing us like that? Making us beg for things, and giving us the taste of it just to snatch them away!"

My voice soared more sharply than I had intended, and my eyes filled with tears without warning.

All the amusement on his face was gone, and he was studying me.

"Scarlet, I know what I am doing. I am not ruthless as you accuse me of. And, Rosa, I will keep my end of the bargain, if you keep yours." He said, turning towards Rosa.

"Wait, what bargain?" I asked, getting high instincts that the bargain wouldn't be in my favor.

"None of your concern, Scarlet." Rosa said exasperatingly.

That was enough.

I dropped my spoon and got up. Without any warning, I left the room.

"Scarlet!" Rosa called, but I ignored her.

I was done being in a room where no one bothered to answer my questions.
