Chapter 147 The Angry empress

Chapter 147 The Angry empress
As battles raged in other parts of the Dark City, Kael crashed into one of the buildings, thrown by Orla’s attack.

Kael stood up immediately, his body gradually reforming using clay. "That punch was incredibly strong."

He was startled when he suddenly sensed someone behind him, shivering as he felt an immensely powerful aura.

"What?"

He turned around instantly, but Orla grabbed his face with one hand. Kael couldn't believe Orla's speed; he could barely perceive her movements.

"How did she manage to get behind me without me sensing her?"

Kael’s hand turned into clay, shaping into a sharp spike to stab Orla through the heart. However, Kael was shocked to find that even though he managed to strike her, his weapon did not pierce her skin.

"Impossible, her skin is impenetrable."

"You ruined my clothes; you will pay dearly," Orla remarked.

With her hand, Orla crushed Kael's skull as if it were a squashed fruit. Simultaneously, she kicked him, causing him to be sent flying and crashing into the building once again.

The force of the kick was so great that Kael tore through three buildings before he finally stopped.

Because Kael was immune to physical attacks, the shattered parts of his body simply reformed, and he emerged from the debris.

"The effect of the dark energy on that woman is extraordinary. Their Emperor must have done something to her."

Behind his back, clay began to form weapons, gradually taking the shape of wings, and he flew into the air.

He believed he had a huge advantage in the sky. "She is still an orc, so surely she doesn't have the ability to fly like I do."

While in the air, he saw Orla walking, her body shrouded in dark energy. He knew he could not underestimate his opponent, especially since she possessed dark energy, so he decided to take the fight seriously.

Clay emerged from his body, forming into the shapes of dragons. "Clay Dragon of Destruction!"

Four dragons, each five meters tall and nearly fifty meters long, lunged at Orla.

Orla was not intimidated by the gigantic dragons approaching her. She stared at them calmly and prepared to throw a punch. She was enveloped in intense dark energy, and a black magic circle appeared before her.

"Mighty Power Blow!"

She punched the center of the magic circle, releasing an intense force that headed straight for the four dragons.

The dragons were almost crushed like sand when Orla’s attack struck them. Along with the release of her attack, the very ground where Orla stood was destroyed.

"Impossible, this cannot be!"

The attack went straight for Kael, and barely anything remained of his body after the impact of Orla’s strike. The buildings surrounding them also shattered from the sheer force of her punch.

"I shouldn't have used one of my high-tier power blows here."

Orla noticed that she could still feel Kael’s presence in the area, a sign that he had managed to survive her attack. "He is still alive even after I hit him."

She jumped to the top of a building, hoping to find him, but even though she could sense him, she lacked the ability to pinpoint his exact location.

"It is difficult to find him, especially since he uses clay to hide himself. I need to find another way."

Orla jumped down and began destroying the clay she saw in the surroundings, one by one, using her punches. However, because of her actions, she was also destroying the Dark City.

The explosions she caused caught the attention of Lea and Elisa, forcing them to head toward her. When they arrived to stop her, they were surprised by what they saw.

"Wait, a Prime Orc? Why is she covered in dark energy?" Lea asked.

"Wait... her attire. Doesn't her clothing look familiar?" Elisa noted.

When Orla saw Lea and Elisa, she immediately bowed to greet them. "It is you, Empress, Lady Azula."

Lea and Elisa were stunned when they recognized Orla and immediately asked, "Wait, is that you, Lady Orla? Why has your appearance changed?"

Because of Orla's transformation, they didn't recognize her immediately, but what was more alarming was that she was enveloped in dark energy.

"Because of the Emperor’s dark energy, my power awakened and evolved into that of a Prime Orc."

Lea was in disbelief, immediately thinking that, just like Lavinia who evolved into a Prime Demon, it required the Emperor’s dark energy to be passed onto her.

"If so, did Daniel... I mean, the Emperor, pass the dark energy to you?" Lea asked.

"Our enemies are too strong, so the Emperor helped me acquire great power," Orla replied.

Lea bowed her head, dazed, looking as if she were losing her mind as she realized that Daniel must have kissed Orla to pass the energy to her.

Elisa understood what was said, and due to their situation, she realized Daniel was forced to turn Orla into a Prime Orc. However, Elisa wondered why she had destroyed the area.

"Forgive me, Lady Azula, but I am searching for my opponent who escaped."

She explained that her enemy had the ability to turn into clay, which allowed him to escape.

"Is that the reason for all this?" Elisa asked.

Elisa tapped Lea and told her not to be childish, explaining that they were in a precarious situation and needed the help of the consorts.

"You should get to work finding the escaped enemy. You are good at sensing the presence of creatures, right?" Elisa asked.

Suddenly, Lea released intense energy and flew up, furious. "I told you not to order me around."

Her aura spread like a black mist, covering more than twenty hectares. "I see him. I will crush you before I break the bones of that Daniel."

She shot off away from the area, not waiting for Elisa.

Orla noticed Lea's reaction to what she had said and feared she might be punished. "Ah... is the Empress angry with me?"

"Don't worry, she is jealous, but that short-tempered girl isn't actually cruel," Elisa replied.

In another part of the town, Kael was running to escape. He was rushing to get out of the city.

"That cursed orc woman, my body almost vanished because of what she did. It’s a good thing a small piece of me remained."

Because of what happened, he was forced to use all his energy just to return his body to normal. He didn't want to fight her again because he wasn't sure if he would survive another hit from the same attack.

While running, he noticed something unusual in his surroundings. "What is happening? Why can't I feel Master Lance's presence anymore?"

"And I can't feel my other companions either? Could they have been defeated? But that’s impossible."

He continued to run, but as he got further from the area, a black aura passed by him like the wind, causing him to stop in fear and look behind him.

"What kind of presence is this? Such powerful dark energy, even greater than the Prime Orc I fought," he whispered.

Fear was etched on Kael's face, especially when he felt the terrifying energy, which warned him that his life was in danger.

"My energy is no longer enough to fight them; I need to leave and return to Irish."

He continued running, but he was startled when he saw black fire falling like a meteor in his path. He saw that it was shrouded in black energy, appearing like blazing flames.

"Where exactly do you think you’re going?" Lea said, slowly standing up.

Her red eyes glared, while the centers of her eyes glowed a bright pink.

Kael stepped back, terrified as he looked at her. "Is she the Empress of the Empire? The rumors that she is terrifying are true."

Lea’s black tentacles emerged from her back and attacked Kael, but because the clay could change its form, he easily escaped the attacks.

Even though the tentacles pierced his body, Kael did not mind. Instead of fighting back, he continued to run away. To him, he had nothing to gain in that place, especially since his companions had already been defeated.

But as he tried to leave, he slowly noticed that his body felt weak.

"I need to get out of here." He jumped to the top of a building, intending to run to the edge of the town.

While running, he suddenly fell from the roof he had jumped onto and landed on the ground. He forced himself to stand, but immediately fell to his knees, gasping for air. "What is happening to me? Why is my body weakening? I don't understand."

Even though he was extremely weak, he still tried to stand up, but when he looked forward, he was shocked to see Orla and Elisa standing in front of him.

"What? What happened? How did you get there?"

When he looked around, he noticed he had returned to his previous position before he started running. He found himself kneeling on the ground.

"Why did I return here? What happened?" Kael asked, confused and terrified.

"Return? The truth is, you never left where you were standing," Lea said.

Kael was startled when Lea grabbed his shoulder while he was kneeling. Lea was at his side, along with her red crystal emitting a black aura.

The weapon was emitting an illusion that placed Kael under a curse, filling him with negative emotions.

"You said you could be immortal using clay, right? How interesting," Lea said.

"If physical attacks have no effect on you, then you must be hard to kill, right?" Lea added with a smile.

Kael was shaking as he felt his body gradually heating up. He felt dizzy, his vision blurred, and eventually, he began to see illusions all around him.

"What is happening to my body? Why are there women around me?"

He looked at Lea and felt temptation and desire; his mind was confused, and he could no longer recognize Lea as his enemy. In his sight, she had become a beautiful woman seducing him, so he tried to stand up to touch her, but before he could get close, Lea suddenly kicked him away.

"Insolent fool. Scum like you have no right to touch me."

Kael was shaking as he crawled toward Lea, drooling like a madman. "Just be mine. Please, give yourself to me."

"Ha! Sorry, but I’m already taken," Lea said arrogantly.

While under the succubus's curse, the crystal continued to drain Kael’s energy without him noticing. Lea’s weapon consumed his life energy until he died.

"Let’s end your suffering."

While he was kneeling, Lea grabbed his head. The marks on her body glowed, an indication that her body was absorbing the energy from Kael. A few moments later, he finally collapsed and stopped breathing.
