Of course you are an uncle.
Of course you are an uncle.
Aria woke up with a rough breath leaving her mouth.
“What kind of dream was that…?” she murmured.
Her palm moved across her face, wiping the sweat that covered her skin. Her chest rose and fell quickly. The dream she just had felt so real that her body still reacted to it.
Her breathing felt heavy. Something strange moved through her body, as if the things in that dream had truly happened.
Aria pushed the blanket away and quickly looked down at herself. Her clothes were still there.
Then she remembered something.
She never wore proper clothes when she slept. It had always been her habit to sleep in only her underwear and nothing else.
Her hand slid beneath the waistband of her panties. Her fingers touched the dampness between her legs.
“Wet…” she whispered under her breath.
Her eyes turned toward the wall clock in her room. It was only two in the morning, yet the dream had forced her awake.
Aria dropped back onto the mattress and lay on her back. Her eyes stared at the ceiling for a moment before slowly shifting toward the door.
Her eyes narrowed.
A thin line of light came through the small opening in the door.
The door was open.
Aria knew very well that when she fell asleep earlier, she had closed it. She immediately got out of bed and walked toward the door. Her heart began beating faster as the thought formed in her mind.
She had definitely closed that door. Aria rushed to the mirror. The moment she looked at her reflection, her eyes widened in shock.
There were several red Dominics on her neck. Three of them. She knew exactly what those Dominics meant. She had seen them many times in movies.
Hickeys.
Aria slowly touched one of them with her fingers. Her mind struggled to understand what had happened. No wonder the dream had felt so real. Even now she could still remember the feeling of a rough tongue sliding across her pussy. It had felt good. Very good. But something about it made no sense.
Her hand moved back into her panties again. Her fingers pressed against the soft, swollen flesh between her legs. It was still very wet.
“Who did this?” Aria murmured quietly. There was no answer. Only one name appeared in her mind.
Dominic. Because there was no one else in the house. A thief breaking in did not make sense. The house security system was too good for that. Aria was not trying to brag, but the protection in this house was strong. Her mother had made sure of that.
Which meant only one person could possibly have done it. Dominic. Aria quickly grabbed some clothes and put them on before leaving her room. Then she rushed down the hallway toward Dominic’s bedroom.
When she stepped outside, the lights were already on, yet no one was there. She moved toward the staircase and went upstairs. She wanted to check her mother’s bedroom.
Aria slowly pushed the door open. Inside the room, she saw Dominic lying on the bed. He was asleep. Her eyes narrowed with disbelief. Dominic sleeping like nothing had happened felt strange to her.
Aria walked inside quietly and moved closer to the bed. When she reached the edge of the mattress, she looked down at him.
Dominic looked completely asleep. Deep asleep. But Aria was not the type of person who would give up so easily. She lowered her face closer to his.
“Uncle,” Aria called softly.
Even she knew she had lost her mind for doing something like this, but she wanted answers.
“Uncle,” she called again.
Dominic did not react. Aria tried again. The third time she raised her voice louder. That finally woke him. Dominic quickly sat up, startled. His eyes moved around the dim room before landing on the figure standing near him.
“Who are you?” he asked in his foreign accent. Aria did not answer.
She watched him closely. She studied his reaction carefully, searching for any sign that he was responsible for what happened to her earlier.
Dominic narrowed his eyes while trying to see her more clearly.
“You… Aria?” he said after a moment. “What are you doing here?”
Dominic let out a long breath of relief when he realized it was Aria and not some ghost girl people often joked about sitting in trees in Indonesia.
Aria kept watching him. From his shocked reaction, it did not seem like he was the one responsible. Just a moment ago he had even opened his mouth in a huge yawn. Dear God. Even when he yawns he still looks handsome.
Aria quickly shook her head inside her mind. What the hell are you thinking? Remember why you came here.
“Nothing,” she answered shortly. She turned and began walking toward the door. Dominic immediately jumped out of bed when he saw her leaving. He grabbed Aria’s arm, pulled her back, locked the door, and pushed her against it.
His arms came up on both sides of her head, trapping her between them. From such a close distance, Aria could clearly see how handsome Dominic looked. The room lights were off, yet the moon and the stars outside gave enough light to reveal his face.
If Dominic had been her boyfriend, she probably would have dragged him straight back to the bed and fucked him right now. But reality was very different. Dominic was her mother’s boyfriend. Soon he would become her stepfather.
What a ridiculous situation your life has become, Aria. Aria looked into Dominic’s eyes. Her mouth refused to move. Her body refused to respond. His gaze made her feel completely powerless.
“What are you doing here?” Dominic asked in a cold tone that still made her heart beat strangely. “Do you even know what time it is? You walked into my room and woke me up. Do you want a hug?”
Aria said nothing.
Her tongue felt heavy. Her mind rejected the idea, yet her body reacted to it. Her thoughts cursed the idea, yet another part of her wanted it. Her brain told her to push him away. Push him as hard as possible and run out of the room. Instead, her body betrayed her.
A hug? Honestly, a kiss would feel even better. Aria quickly shook her head. She suddenly realized she had completely forgotten the reason she came here.
“Are you having dirty thoughts?” Dominic asked. Aria glared at him in shock.
“Are you crazy? Why would I think about something dirty?” she said quickly. She was lying, of course.
“Then why were you staring at me and shaking your head?” Dominic asked again.
“That is none of your business!”
Aria pushed Dominic away with force. Dominic clicked his tongue in amusement.
“What is wrong? Are you nervous? Are you afraid?” Dominic moved his face closer to hers. “Did you forget that we once kissed?”
Aria went completely still. Her mind blanked out. She had forgotten that. She and Dominic had kissed before. And she had completely forgotten about it. You are finished, Aria. Congratulations. You have walked straight into the lion’s cage.
A very handsome and very dangerous lion. Aria looked at Dominic with a complicated expression.
Her mind replayed the memory of that kiss between them. Dominic had stolen that kiss from her. Still, it had happened. And the worst part was that she had forgotten it.
“So,” Dominic said while moving his body even closer to hers, “do you want to continue?”
“Continue what?”
“You forgot? You do not know? Or you are pretending?” Dominic smiled while watching her nervous face.
Aria pushed him again. No matter how hard she pushed him away, Dominic always moved closer again.
“What do you want?” Aria snapped. “Do not forget that you are my mother’s boyfriend. Do not try to take advantage of this situation. I can call my mother right now and tell her everything you are doing. She will hate you.”
Dominic did not answer immediately. Instead, he seemed to be counting something in his mind.
“How many times did you call me uncle just now?” he asked.
“What? Of course you are an uncle. You old man.”
“Watch your mouth.”
“Why should I? You are old. Sometimes I really wonder why my mother even likes you.”
The moment those words left her mouth, Aria bit her lower lip. You are dead, Aria. Your life is currently in Dominic’s hands
