Chapter 38 Fighting

Chapter 38 Fighting
"Why are you so interested?" Kelsey asked, raising one eyebrow.

Weylin sighed, what a woman who happened to be the mother of his son that was so smart to piss him off. He didn't know what was his sin before that he could do crazy things and made Kelsey pregnant with his child.

And recently, he even thought Kelsey was cute and funny. Actually what was in his head, Weylin really regretted his words.

"Alright, fine, I won't ask anymore," Weylin said giving in now.

Kelsey breathed a sigh of relief. She spoke, "So, what do you want to do?"

"Huh!?" Weylin said confused.

Kelsey rolled her eyes in embarrassment "What will you do to be a good father to Aiden?"

Kelsey was annoyed, Isn't Weylin smart enough? Why must it be explained like this?

Weylin said nervously, "Oh, about that. I'll start spending more time with him."

"For example?"

Weylin looked thoughtful before replying, “Dropping him to school, taking him out to lunch, playing with him after school, that sort of thing.”

The man explained all of that with a shining face that made Kelsey stunned, for her this kind of sight was impossible for her to see easily.

Then, she thought that he was stupid, Kelsey even dazed when she saw Weylin smiling so genuinely.

Why did he have to smile like that now? Why not then? If only he had behaved better then, maybe things wouldn't have happened like this. However, Kelsey soon caught herself at the thought.

She then said, "When do you want to do that?"

"What!?" Weylin said.

"What's what?" Kelsey said exasperatedly.

"I mean, you agree?" Weylin asked with his stupid expression.

"Why shouldn't I agree?" Kelsey said lazily.

Weylin immediately smiled brightly, not expecting it would be so easy to persuade Kelsey.

"So when are you going to start doing that?" Kelsey repeated again.

"Tomorrow, er I mean now, okay?" Weylin asked hesitantly.

Kelsey replied casually, "Okay. If you take Aiden home now."

Weylin again couldn't believe what had just happened. Kelsey gave permission so easily to him.

"I'm sure I don't need to give my address, do I? You already know," Kelsey added.

Weylin, "...."

That's a sarcastic word that Kelsey talked. Of course, he knew everything about Kelsey. He just gave on order to his subordinate to look for the information. And then he just gave money to them to do what he wanted.

That's an easy thing to do. He couldn't blame Kelsey for saying that so he was just silent without replying her.

"Uncle, come in first!" Aiden said happily.

The little boy took Weylin's big hand to enter the house but suddenly a woman who Weylin suspected was Aunt Kelsey blocked his way.

"Foreigners are prohibited from entering this house," Adriana said, looking at Weylin with distaste.

Weylin fell silent, clearly the hostility Adriana had shown him. Aiden said, "Uncle Weylin is not a foreigner, Grandma. Uncle
Weylin is a friend of your mother's. Mom was the one who asked Uncle Weylin to take Aiden home."

"I know, your mom called me earlier," Adriana said.

Oh, no wonder she already knows me, Weylin thought.

"Then why do you think Uncle Weylin is a foreigner?" Aiden asked confused.

Adriana smiled and looked down at Aiden's innocent face, "Because Grandma has never met Uncle Weylin. Okay, why don't Aiden change his clothes first and then come down here. Aiden smells sour."

Aiden chuckled, embarrassed to see himself. Usually the boy would have taken a bath at school but because Weylin had taken him away for so long he didn't have time to take a bath.

"Uncle Weylin, first time with Grandma?" Aiden said.

After Aiden left, Adriana was still silent and not even Weylin was invited inside. The man was left standing on the porch of the house. The woman put her hands on her hips, making Weylin clumsy as he was stared at with murderous eyes.

"I'm not going to mince words," Adriana blurted out.

"Yes, Auntie."

"I'm not your Aunt," Adriana said.

Weylin repeated his words, “Yes, Mrs. Lieven."

"I'm still Miss," Adriana corrected annoyed.

Oops, why did it go awry like this, Weylin thought frustrated.

"Okay, Miss," Weylin said then.

Adriana said, "I don't like you. The man who impregnated my niece in a horrible way. Because of you, Kelsey has suffered for years. Disowned by his own family. You have to work hard to support yourself and your child."

Weylin felt cornered so he couldn't help but remain silent.

"I won't let you take Aiden no matter what. You can only meet without taking him away from Kelsey's side. And if Aiden
gets hurt even a little bit, I won't stay silent, young man. I treat Kelsey as my own daughter and Aiden as my grandson.
Don't you dare try to do something wrong," Adriana said at length.

"I don't intend to do it, miss. I won't hurt my own son," Weylin said confidently.

Adriana laughed sarcastically, "I won't believe it. In fact you are the reason that little child does not get the love of a father. You bastard."

"I'll make up for it, everyone. I will make up for the lost time," Weylin said, whose heart was honestly starting to ache.

"Hm. Hope you haven't changed your mind. You do have to make up for your big mistake even though it's impossible to do it. You've put Aiden through so many terrible things. Considered a child who does not have a father. Can you imagine
such a small child going through that?" Adriana said sadly.

Her tears always fell every time she remembered the events of that time. Weylin couldn't bear to hear it.

The man wanted so badly to run and hug his son and tell him he had him. He's the father. From now on he will do everything Aiden has ever done with a father.

“I will make an announcement,” Weylin said.

"What do you mean?" she asked.

"I will announce Aiden as my official son. I want him to bear my family's last name, he will get everything," Weylin said.

Adriana instead looked at him indignantly, "You think your wealth can heal your child's wounds?"

Weylin gasped.

Actually weylin did not mean that way. He knew it wasn't just about treasures. However, it's much more than that. Time.
He couldn't bring back the lost time, but at least he still hoped that he could make up for everything by spending more time with Aiden.

"I know that seven generations of your wealth will not run out, Weylin Malachy. But, that's not what he needs more,"
Adriana said, holding back her anger.

"Hey, young man. Can't you see we're short of money right now? Do you intend to bribe your son with money? Do you really think that everything can be replaced with money?"

Weylin wanted to reply but Aiden suddenly appeared, the little boy asked, "Why did you fight with Granny?"

His two bright green orbs looked at Weylin as well as Adriana in turn.

Weylin did not know why Aiden was there. Adriana looked at him but still did not know how to answer Aiden's question.
