Chapter 29 Look like You
Darren casually hung up on the call, deliberately wanting to make Weylin on purpose. He knew very well that the man would never be angry with him.
This was also because Darren was the only person who knows all about Weylin Malachy. Darren, who had been following Kelsey's car faithfully ever since, finally turned around after making sure Kelsey entered his yard.
Darren drove at a moderate speed, not intending to make a Weylin, but to find out some of the places Kelsey and Aiden frequented.
This was important for the Boss. As soon as he felt he had had enough, he immediately drove his car to Weylin's luxurious residence which was located not far from Ans Bank.
Darren was the one who took care of it because he didn't want his boss to be in trouble if he had to go back and forth to Ans Bank frequently. When he opened the door to Weylin's apartment, a book had been thrown at his head but Darren swiftly caught it.
Darren chuckled, "Sorry to have kept you waiting, Young Master."
Weylin Malachy was already looking at him in horror as if he wanted to mince himself, "So what have you got? I hope it's worth it, Darren. If not, I swear I will send you to planet Mars."
"I will, Sir," Darren said quickly.
Weylin again threw a murderous glare at Darren. The man sat on his black sofa with a cup of hot coffee in his hand, "Would you like me to flush Darren String with this?"
Darren shook his head very quickly, he realized he couldn't joke anymore.
He cleared his throat before starting to speak, "Young Master, Miss Lieven left Manchester right after her disappearance. She lived with Adriana Lieven, her aunt, younger brother of her father, Andrew Lieven once lived in Leeds. She has also been rumored to be close to Gerald How since then he is a lawyer who ...."
"I know about him, skip," interrupted Weylin impatiently.
Darren frowne, "Are you sure, Sir?"
"Damn, Darren. Hurry up!" Weylin growled, annoyed.
Darren continued, "So, eight months later, Miss Lieven gave birth to Aiden. He never married after that. During the time he lived here, no man approached him except Gerald How, sir."
Weylin was stunned. Still can't get his voice out.
“Sir, that little Young Master looks so much like .…”
Weylin turned his head and Darren continued, “You. When you were a kid, he looked exactly like you.”
Weylin gulped, "Don't make this up, Darren. There's no way he's my son. How could that be? I only did it once, Darren. And I'm not sure when it all went in, I mean my sperm doesn't look like ... arghh ...."
The young man was getting frustrated, he lost control and took a beer from his fridge and drank it straight away.
Darren sighed, "If he was indeed your child, what would you do?"
It took Weylin a long time to reply, "I'll give him his due."
"You will marry Miss Kelsey?" Darren asked again.
Weylin gasped in surprise, “Married? You're out of your mind aren't you? I can't marry her. I will only give the child rights. You know which woman I married?"
"The woman who disappeared without a trace and until now her traces are unknown, Young Master," Darren said.
Weylin grabbed his hair at a loss of reason, "Don't start again, Darren. You know very well, all the possibilities exist. If I can meet Kelsey, then I can meet that mysterious woman, right?"
"She might not even remember you anymore and could be married, Young Master," Darren said sensibly.
Weylin looked at Darren disapprovingly, "But it's just 'Maybe'. What if he's been suffering because of me? What if she lives with my son but struggles?"
"Miss Kelsey does too, sir."
"He's not necessarily my son, Darren. If he's my son, why did she leave when we're getting married? Weird isn't it?" Weylin argued.
Darren said in a deep voice, "If I were her, I might as well choose to annul the wedding with you."
Weylin immediately gave a confused look of incomprehension.
"Just imagine, Master. You showed your distaste for her in a very horrible way. You even abused her. She must have preferred raising your child alone to you," Darren said to the point.
Weylin gaped and then irritably said, "You really are very honest, Darren."
"Thank you, Young Master," an irritated Darren replied.
He felt like his master didn't understand what he's saying and might stick to his stance.
"I'll do a DNA test on Aiden," Weylin said then.
"And if Aiden really is your son?"
Weylin lazily said again, "I'll give him his rights."
"Wow. You are great. You won't regret it later and Miss Kelsey will be very pleased to hear that," Darren sneered.
Weylin placed his beer can roughly on the table, "What's wrong with you, Darren? Why are you pissing me off in the first place?"
Darren wanted to have another argument with Weylin but realized he couldn't possibly win, he instead said, "Nothing. Please rest. And here are documents as well as photos regarding Young Master Aiden. I'll excuse you, Sir."
After putting down all the documents, Darren chose to step aside first compared to being near his boss who was unable to think straight.
Weylin's heart was actually tickled with curiosity to quickly see all the documents, but he held it back because of his own ego.
Elsewhere, Kelsey was putting her son to sleep who was ready to close her eyes. Kelsey sighed when she found Aiden asleep. Slowly, she walked out of her son's room and into her own room.
Just as she was about to take off her shirt, her cell phone vibrated indicating a message appeared on it. Message from the Beloved, Gerald How.
\[Are you home yet?\]
Kelsey smiled, she immediately typed a reply for Gerald.
\[Are you alone?\]
The reply came in less than a minute.
\[Still in the office. There's a meeting. Weekend we take a walk, want?\]
Kelsey chuckled, "It's still Wednesday and you've been thinking about the weekend?"
"Gerald," Kelsey muttered.
Kelsey typed a reply with a smile.
\[Want to. Aiden will be pleased\]
After she typed that reply, Kelsey immediately stepped into the bathroom and suddenly she had forgotten the problem that had weighed on her heart.
Kelsey even hummed as she cleaned herself up imagining how excited Aiden would be to be asked out for a walk.
Still singing, Kelsey picked up her cell phone and frowned in confusion when she saw that an unfamiliar number had messaged her.
Hesitantly, she opened the message and began to read.
\[Tomorrow morning come to my room! I want to talk about Aiden\]
