Chapter 385 Drugging Matthew
"Celestia, wait."
Isabella gritted her teeth secretly. Unable to maintain her composure any longer, she hurriedly called out to stop Celestia.
Celestia paused in her steps and turned to look at her. "You have something else? Ms. Brown, you don't even have any bargaining chips, yet you come to talk cooperation with me, trying to get something for nothing? Do you think I'm stupid?"
Isabella's expression immediately darkened. Before, she had only thought Celestia was a fool with no scheming or cunning.
But now it seemed Celestia wasn't as simple as she had imagined.
Come to think of it, how could a child raised by a wealthy family like the Whites possibly be a real fool?
Her hands nervously clutched at her skirt as she thought about how to convince Celestia.
Suddenly, inspiration struck and she blurted out, "Don't you like Matthew? I can help you."
"You'll help me?" Celestia suddenly laughed out loud, looking at her leisurely. "So how exactly do you plan to help me?"
"I... I have a drug here. Whether male or female, once they take it, they'll lose all ability to resist. Then you can do whatever you want."
Isabella took out a small medicine bottle from her bag and waved it in front of Celestia.
Given how Celestia had been shouting by the lake earlier, she must be deeply in love with Matthew.
She didn't believe anyone could resist such temptation.
Celestia's fingers took the bottle of medicine from Isabella's hand and examined it carefully.
"How do I know if this drug is real or fake? What if it's poison? Wouldn't I end up with a murder charge?"
Seeing her being so difficult, Isabella began to feel a bit panicked. "I won't lie to you."
Celestia interrupted her: "Don't say that. We're not related at all. Just to deal with Sophia, you'd give me such a hard-to-get drug?"
"Believe me, no one in this world hates Sophia more than I do. If it weren't for her, how would I have ended up in this situation?"
Celestia held the medicine bottle in her palm and asked, "So what do you want me to do?"
"It's simple. I have another drug here. As long as you catch her off guard and make her take it, you can leave the rest to me."
Seeing her accept the medicine, Isabella was immediately delighted and took out another medicine bottle.
Celestia took the bottle and asked suspiciously, "What kind of drug is this?"
Isabella was getting impatient with her questions and replied coldly, "It won't kill anyone. Just do what you're told."
"But my grandfather ordered me to go abroad and I can't come back without his permission. How would I have time to drug her?"
"What?" Isabella stared at her in shock. "Why didn't you say this before?"
What a waste of all her words!
Why were all the Whites so annoying?
Celestia shrugged. "You didn't ask. Why don't you find someone else to do this?"
"No way! How about this - you act tonight, send me the address in advance, and I'll have someone waiting outside to help you."
This was her only chance to get close to Sophia. If she missed it again, Bodhi wouldn't let her off.
"So much trouble? Forget it then." Celestia turned around and left without looking back.
"Celestia, stop! My medicine..." By the time Celestia had walked away, Isabella suddenly realized she had given both bottles to Celestia.
Without the medicine, she had even less chance of completing the task!
Celestia walked to the corner and slowly stopped, looking at the two bottles of medicine in her bag, a cold glint flashing in her eyes.
Isabella said she wanted to help her, but wasn't she really just trying to use her to get rid of Sophia?
Too bad she underestimated her, and underestimated the White family.

Celestia looked up at the sky, feeling lost.
Was she really... that annoying? Why didn't anyone like her?
If she followed Preston's arrangement and went abroad, Matthew would probably soon forget who she was, right?
Then what was the point of all her persistence?

Finally, her gaze fell on the two medicine bottles in her bag, her expression dark and unclear.

She looked in the direction Celestia had left, a flash of vicious hatred in her eyes.
Just then, a surprised voice suddenly came from behind her. "Isabella?"
Hearing this familiar voice, Isabella's body shook violently and she spun around.
Two steps away from her, a tall, thin man was standing there, staring at her in a daze.
Zander?
How could he be here?
Isabella suddenly felt panicked and instinctively wanted to back away, but Zander grabbed her in an embrace.
"Isabella? It's really you? When did you come back? I've been looking for you for two whole years..."
Zander never dreamed that the woman he had been desperately searching for these two years had finally returned.
He felt both joy and regret. "Isabella, I really missed you. You don't know how I've been getting by without you."
Isabella stiffened slightly in his embrace, then slowly reached out her hands to hug Zander's waist back.
"Zander, is it really you? I'm not dreaming?"
Isabella's voice choked up, and her eyes visibly reddened, looking very pitiful.
Zander looked at her thin face, his heart aching. "It's so cold, why are you dressed so lightly?"
With that, he took Isabella's hand and led her into his car.
