Chapter 227 You Bitch, Go to Hell!
Sophia went to the garage to get her car and drove to StarVibe Entertainment.
Sean was standing in the office waiting. When he saw Sophia appear, he immediately reported the online situation again, "Ms. Brown, public opinion has turned around now. People have stopped cursing you online."
"Good." Sophia sat down at her desk with a calm expression, opened her computer, and asked, "Have you found out who's behind this?"
"Still investigating." Sean's face looked troubled.
Sophia sat at her desk, her fingers flying across the keyboard. After operating for a bit, she slowly said, "No need to investigate anymore. I've already found them."
Sean looked up in surprise and saw Sophia staring coldly at the computer screen.
He walked over to take a look and couldn't help but freeze.
Savannah?
How could it be her?
"Ms. Brown, did you have a conflict with her on set?"
Sophia thought for a moment and nodded, "Sort of. When we were taking costume photos, we had some arguments over the dressing room."
"That makes sense then." Sean understood. "However, this Savannah wasn't careful enough in what she did, otherwise she wouldn't have used her personal account to contact the paid trolls."
This actually gave them the chance to find out easily without much effort.
Sean touched his nose sheepishly, feeling pretty useless.
Sophia sat at the computer and figured it out in less than half a minute.
But he had been investigating for ages without any leads.
"Hand it over to the PR department." Sophia instructed.
Although she wasn't someone who liked to fight people to the bitter end, there was no reason to just endure being bullied.
Sean hesitated and asked, "Ms. Brown, will this affect Joshua's movie?"
"Don't worry, this small matter isn't enough to bring Joshua down." Sophia's tone was certain, her expression calm, yet somehow carried a convincing power.
Sean immediately felt reassured and quickly left the office.
After giving her instructions, Sophia didn't stay at the company for another moment and prepared to leave.
She took the private elevator down to the underground garage. Just as she was about to get her car, she suddenly noticed rapid footsteps getting closer behind her.
"Sophia, you bitch! Go to hell!"
A sharp, hate-filled voice came from behind. Sophia instinctively turned around to see a blurred figure rushing toward her.
And a cold, gleaming blade, coming straight at her.
Sophia's mind went blank for a moment. Before she could react, she fell into a warm embrace.
Someone held her, stood in front of her, and protected her tightly in their arms.
Then, the sound of a knife piercing flesh reached her ears. Sophia froze in shock.
She widened her eyes and looked up in disbelief.
As she thought, Benjamin was holding her tightly, his face unnaturally pale, but his thin lips curved in a slight smile.
His deep eyes reflected a brilliant light as he stared straight at her.
At that moment, Sophia felt like her heart was about to stop.
The moment Benjamin fell, Sophia instinctively caught his body, her cold gaze shooting straight at the culprit.
"Isabella, are you crazy?"
Isabella was also shocked by the scene before her, her hands gripping the knife trembling violently.
Her eyes were red as she stared blankly at Benjamin. When Sophia yelled at her, the knife suddenly slipped from her hands and made a crisp sound as it hit the ground.
"I, I didn't mean to..." Isabella shook her head desperately, her eyes wide with fear.
How did this happen?
She wanted to kill Sophia!
Where did Benjamin come from?
Why did he rush out? Why did he protect Sophia?
She was just a commodity used to exchange benefits - why should she get Benjamin's favor and his willingness to risk his life to save her?
Sophia ignored her questions. At this moment, her eyes could hold no one but Benjamin.
"Honey, are you okay?"
"Are you alright?"
She frantically searched through her bag, but Benjamin held her very tightly. "I'm fine, don't worry."
"Let me look first." Sophia's eyes immediately reddened as she tried to break free from Benjamin's tight embrace.
But Benjamin chuckled softly, buried his face in her neck, and nuzzled gently, "Mrs. White, are you worried about me?"
"Of course! Who else would I worry about!" Sophia thought Benjamin was being ridiculous, and she was also guessing whether his injury was serious.
But Benjamin refused to let her go, like a willful child, holding her tightly and refusing to release her.
She took out her phone from her bag and called Sean.
Soon, Sean arrived with people.
Isabella turned to run, but being physically weak and a girl, how could she outrun those specially hired bodyguards?
She hadn't taken more than a few steps before being pressed hard to the ground.
Isabella began to struggle violently, fear almost consuming her entire heart.
"Let me go! Let go... Sophia, make them let me go! What right do you have to arrest me?"
"What right? Caught red-handed - what, you want to deny it?" Sean sneered coldly, with no intention of showing any mercy.
He took out his phone and called the police. Soon, the police arrived.
Sophia didn't dare struggle violently, afraid of touching Benjamin's wound, so she could only whisper in his ear, "Let me look at your injury, okay? Just one look."
"Don't look, you'll be scared." Benjamin covered her eyes with his warm palm, blocking her vision, then slowly released her.
Sophia found it funny, but more than that, she was angry.
At a time like this, he still cared about such things?
In his eyes, was she already so timid that she couldn't even stand the sight of blood?
Benjamin sighed helplessly.
It wasn't that he didn't want to let Sophia see, he was just afraid she would cry.
He was most afraid of Sophia's tears.
But in the end, he still couldn't resist Sophia. Back in the car, under Sophia's death stare, he slowly took off his clothes.
The charcoal black custom suit had a hole in it, and bright red blood had stained the white shirt.
When he took off his shirt, the blood had already stuck to it.
The wound was deep, staining a large area of the shirt red. You could tell how hard Isabella had struck.
She really wanted Sophia dead.
"How can you be so foolish? Rushing up to block the knife for me without a word. I worked so hard to save your life - what if something happened?" Sophia's voice choked up, and as she spoke, tears fell.
Tears streamed down uncontrollably.
Benjamin had his back to her. Hearing her cry, he hurriedly turned around, somewhat at a loss, "Don't, don't cry. The wound just looks deep, but it doesn't really hurt, really!"
