Chapter 50 050

Chapter 50 050
Liam and Jolie were uncomfortable at the same time before she could complete introducing themselves. Liam was taken aback. It was impossible for Stella to know Jolie, by rights. However, how did she find out that Young was her last name?

He sensed the caution in Stella's eyes when he looked into them again. He said to Jolie, "They're calling you over," as soon as he learned what she was considering. I now have to go with my girlfriend."

"Is having a girlfriend a big deal?" Reluctantly, Jolie averted her gaze and walked out.

Liam tried to talk Sherry out of her anger. “That's how she is. She enjoys making jokes, but it was my fault for not introducing the two of you to her clearly."

Sherry withdrew her hand, saying, "I'm not upset. It's okay, you just go with your friends. Please excuse me.”

"I do not want to accompany them, of course I want to be with you." Sherry heard Liam mumble something to her before he dragged her outdoors.

After taking a few steps, Sherry turned around and said, "Stella, please wait for me. I'll return immediately.”

"Okay."

Jolie came up to Stella again shortly after they had departed, carrying two glasses of wine, and said, "I really apologize for what happened right now." I'll have a glass of wine as self-punishment."

As Stella put it, "I don't drink."

"I heard from Liam that you are a jewelry designer," Jolie said, withdrawing her hand with embarrassment. “You have to be pretty good. When are you going to create my jewelry? I'll assist you in getting the word out to my friends so they can find you to do their designing."

"Nice," Stella grinned. “The personalized jewelry will cost a minimum of two hundred thousand dollars . Miss Young can pay the deposit right away if she decides to purchase."

Jolie's attitude somewhat changed upon hearing her remarks, "Two hundred thousand?" Jolie didn't anticipate that the jewelry would cost at least two hundred thousand dollars since she assumed Stella was not a well-known designer and that it would only cost ten or twenty thousand at most.

"This is just the design fee, not counting the cost of the materials needed to do the jewellery," Stella said in a kind manner.

With a somewhat indifferent demeanor, Jolie held her glass and uttered a terse "Then I'll think about it."

Stella's voice interrupted her as she turned to go, saying, "Ms. Young, your tactic to drive a wedge between them is really nasty." Stella finished speaking, at which point she decided she no longer cared about her and walked out.

Sherry had returned from outside and Liam was waiting for her when she got to the door. With Liam clearly exerting some sort of influence, Sherry inquired, "Stella, where are you going?"

"I'm going to the toilet."

"Then I will accompany you."

When Liam heard her statements, he grew tense and quickly said, "Sherry, remember how I said I would take you to meet my friends and colleagues? They've never met you, none of them."

"I can meet them when I come back after accompanying Stella to the toilet also right?" Sherry asked him, giving him a confused look.

Nervous and taken aback, Liam was unsure of how to respond to her query. Stella observed Liam's nervous expression and grinned icily, thinking how bold he had been to cheat on Sherry twice and how scared he now was that she may find out.

Disregarding him, Stella turned to face Sherry and said, "Sherry, I'll go by myself. I'll return in a moment."

“Well..” Sherry replied. She cautioned her to use caution because the path to the restroom was a little slick.

"Okay."

Liam drew Sherry to his side as Stella departed, telling her, "Baby, you care more about her than me."

With an angry expression, Sherry asked, "Why should I care about you? In addition to the fact that Stella is now pregnant, you are a man."

She stopped talking when she realized she had said something incorrectly. But Liam was fascinated after hearing her remarks. He questioned her briefly, "Is she expecting? However, she did not get divorced? Who is her spouse then? I take it that they were wed for three years? Why hadn't I seen him earlier?"

"Stop," Sherry shoved him aside. “Avoid posing too many inquiries. Proceed to complete your tasks."

Liam glanced behind Stella and contemplated something. If she was married, then why did she keep her pregnancy a secret from the public? Unless it was….

... ….

Stella cleaned her hands after getting off the toilet. She encountered her acquaintance just as she was ready to go.

Annie was enraged to see her and exclaimed, "Why are you here!"

"Is this place owned by your family?" Stella was sorry she said what she had said as soon as she was done. because the property may actually belong to the Conrad family.

Fortunately, Annie gazed at her with fury instead of sneering, asking, "Did you follow Horace here? Why are you a woman of such shamelessness!? Horace and I would have been engaged long ago if it weren't for you."

Stella asked her a detached question while maintaining a cool gaze: "What is it related to me? Don't your parents always pick who gets married in your family? Why do you think I am this way?”

Annie didn't realize Stella was haunting her until she froze. She reddened and became irate. As she prepared to strike out, she had an idea and withdrew her hand, saying, "Stella, I'm warning you, if you still pester Horace continuously. The person you meet the next time won't be me."

Although Annie tended to act impulsively, she was not a moron. She became acutely aware during this period that she was not the only one who desired the marriage to succeed. It appeared that her uncle had a stronger desire for her to wed Horace than did she.

Stella said, "All right." She simply felt awful for Horace if he ended up being Annie's spouse, but she didn't give a damn who Annie married.

Annie clenched her teeth at her lack of interest. "Stella, just wait and see!" she exclaimed. “First of all, you used dishonest methods to marry Clarence, and now you're attempting to woo Horace. God will undoubtedly punish you!"

With a detached smile, Stella said, "So will God punish you? Annie, you can refuse to acknowledge your actions, but I also hope you will remember that you were only "punished by God."

Her statements infuriated Annie, and before she could respond, Stella had already departed.

When Phoebe passed Stella in the hallway, she swept a glance at her tummy. Stella had been dressing loosely ever since she became pregnant, and since the baby was only three months old and she was slender, no one could really tell that she was expecting. However, this increased suspicions about her. Asking, "Annie, who were you talking to just now?" Phoebe approached Annie.

Disgustingly, Annie exclaimed, "A shameless woman!"

"Well, you shouldn't be upset with someone you don't care about. Will you continue your search for Horace?"

Annie didn't aware until then that she was coming to meet with Horace. Horace had been avoiding her lately since she couldn't seem to find him. She hurried over today when Phoebe informed her that Horace was here to speak with his business partner. She unexpectedly ran into the haughty Stella!
