Charles POV

“Yeah, they’re getting married, oh my gosh they’re such a cute couple, but you know what? Just because I helped her shop doesn’t mean I’m not on your side okay? I’m always going to be on your side.”

“Sophia, forget about that, that's definitely not the point.” I got up and began pacing around the room from left to right while rubbing my hand against my chin and processing every damn word that came out of her mouth at that moment.

“What’s going through your mind?” Sofia asked. I didn’t have any plans of even responding to her because I wasn’t even sure what was going through my mind, “Okay you know what? I narrowed my eyes at her and even shot daggers at her, unable to hide the irritation on my face. When our gazes caught each other, she immediately stopped speaking.

“I thought those two were over.” I grumbled to myself. Meanwhile my phone was busy buzzing on the table, I turned around to see the office was calling, “Your phone’s ringing.”

“Sofia, I have ears too, I know my phone is ringing on the desk, I’ll really appreciate that you stop talking just for a little second, I really just need to think okay? And you talking isn’t doing me any good right now.”

“mmm, you know you’re not my boss right? except when you’re inside of me … sometimes though, it just depends on how I feel. Look, my point is why do you even need to process this, aren’t you over her?”

I turned around completely and unfolded my arms at my chest, “Are you seriously asking me that right now?”

“Well, I’m definitely not joking.” She cleared a part of the sofa and gently patted her hand on it, “Come on, sit down next to me, let's talk about this.”My arms were still folded at my chest when I glared at her, once more, she tapped on the chair and raised her brows at me.

I sat down next to her with my gaze on the television while the noise coming from her crunchy voice filled the air, “Why would you break up with her if you weren’t over her?”

“Sofia, none of this is any of your business but aside from that, I really don’t want you hanging around Isadora or Oliver.”

“Charles, you know you can’t tell me who to hang out with and who not to hang out with, the only reason I’m concerned about this is because you’re involved and you don’t seem too happy about any of this.

To add to it, it’s making you overthink things. You don’t need to go into details, the bits and bobs are okay but then, you can as well just let me help you process everything.”

I turned to her, without saying a word because I didn’t want to admit that she was right, I exhaled softly and finally, I was ready to give her my part of the story, “Isadora cheated on me.”Sofia gasped at my words as her hands flew to her face, “Okay …”she inhaled and exhaled softly, “Okay … errr that’s okay,”

“I don’t think you understand. Sofia, I never put myself in situations like this, I’m never this vulnerable, but instead, the one time I decided to let my guard down, Isadora used it against me. She lied to my face and did sneaky shit behind my back.”

Sofia placed her hand on my back and gently rubbed it to calm me down, “Okay… I’m all ears.”

“When I found out, I was too pissed off, I couldn’t do anything to her, instead, I paid Oliver a visit.”

“So she cheated with Oliver?”

“That’s right.”

“Hmm… and now they’re getting married. I think I understand the reason behind why you were so pissed.”

“Well, they used to be lovers, or whatever…”

“I’m so sorry Charles.”

“You can stop apologizing now, just distract me.” I exhaled once more.She slowly moved her bag of chips and grabbed my chin, “How badly do you want to be distracted?”

“I want it so bad I don’t want to remember we even had this conversation or if any of that happened.”

.“Alright then, in that case…” she said flirtatiously as she placed her hands against my shoulders and crossed her legs over me by her knees. She then sat on my dick and began grinding herself against me very slowly.
