Chapter 178 The Most Powerful Heir of Empire City Fights for Her
Lily saw Dennis's moves - impressively skilled.
The young man was floored, too dazed to speak.
When the male trainer saw his wealthy client getting beaten up, he seized a locker nearby and toppled it.
Dennis braced for the impact it, and the male trainer lunged at him.
The all hell broke loos, as the trainer's work buddies also rushed over to piled into the fray.
Seeing Dennis flanked, Lily ran over too.
But as a girl, even though she'd practiced boxing, she was still at a disadvantage against men's physical upper hand.
"Stop! What are you doing?"
At that moment, the gym owner, Rolf Tackett, intervened.
When Cameron saw Dennis fighting, his eyes nearly popped out of his head. He ran over and knocked those guys down in just a few moves.
Thecommotion died down.
The young man cowered in the corner. He stood up, cursing, "You're the boss, right? These two attacked me. How are you going to handle this?"
The male trainer and his friends were also injured.
Lily stood beside Dennis. She suddenly noticed blood soaking through Dennis's arm. Shefretted, "You're bleeding."
"Are you hurt?"
Dennis's first reaction was to scan Lily for injuries. Once he was sure she was safedid he relax.
Rolf looked at the young man, "I've fielded numerous reports about you harassing young ladies and female customers in our gym. You think people can't see what you're doing?"
The young man felt a bit guilty, "But it was all consensual between them and me. It's none of your business."
"But we have CCTV security tapes of you harassing people."
"You're just trying to scare me. I'm pressing charges - my teeth are knocked out!"
The young man's speech was slurred, his mouth full of blood.
"Call the police then. Who's afraid?"
After Lily said this, she pulled Dennis's hand, "Mr. Tackett, do you have a first aid kit? His wound needs treatment."
"Yes, I'll have someone get it for you," Rolf replied.
Dennis said calmly, "It's nothing."
"You're bleeding, and it's nothing?"
Lily pulled him to the boxing area, where it was quieter.
Soon Cameron came with the first aid kit, looking nervously at Dennis, "Mr. Gonzalez, I'm sorry I didn't get here in time."
Who would have thought the Gonzalez family heir would get into a fight here!
And get injured too.
Lily took the first aid kit, "Cameron, this isn't your fault. It happened suddenly."
She sat beside Dennis, looking at his bleeding wound - probably cut by the metal cabinet, the skin was broken.
Dennis glanced at Cameron, his eyes cold and deep, "Go handle things outside."
"Yes." Cameron quickly turned and left.
Lily took out the disinfectant, looking at his wound, "This might hurt a bit."
"It's just a minor injury."
When the disinfectant was applied, Dennis's words still paused. His gaze was intense. "On purpose?"
"No, disinfecting always hurts." Lily glanced at him and lowered her head to blow on his wound.
Dennis instantly tensed up. He turned his head to look at the ground, his expression somewhat unnatural.
The gym was very quiet, just the two of them.
Dennis turned his head and saw her carefully disinfecting his wound, her eyes particularly focused.
After Lily finished disinfecting, she looked at him, "I didn't expect someone as calm as you would actually fight!"
She really hadn't expected it.
Dennis calmly looked away, his tone even, "Who told him to run his mouth!"
But he really hadn't controlled his temper.
Over the years, he rarely needed to handle things personally.
Especially when hearing another man trash-talk her, he couldn't hold back, and didn't want to.
He glanced at Lily, "You fought too. Even knew to call him to a place without cameras."
"I didn't expect that guy could be so revolting, relentlessly hitting on me. I really couldn't stand it and wanted to put him in his place."
She hadn't expected it would escalate into a full-blown fight.
Things would probably be a headache now.
Lily inspected his wound, "Don't get it wet for the next few days. Go get a get a tetanus booster, since it was cut by a steel locker."
Dennis agreed. He actually couldn't feel the pain now, but his mind was racing.
Cameron walked back, "Mr. Gonzalez, they contacted the authorities."
"They dare call the police? The audacity!" Lily stormed out. This gym was outside the school - who heaven knows how manfemale students had been harassed by this man?
Sheseethed as she stewed over itabout it.
As Lily left, Dennis watched her bolt out like a lightning bolt, the corner of his mouth tugging upward - quite the righteous streak.
"Mr. Gonzalez, this was my oversight, allowing you to get hurt."
Cameron was very nervous, his deferential tone.
Dennis eyed his gash and said calmly, "Did you find out about that guy's history?"
"Leandro McCall called me. He just lucked into launching a tech company, currently valued at a few million. acting so high and mighty, as if he's so rich."
In Empire City, a few million dollars didn't even cost as much as one of Dennis's watches.
Dennis's eyes were cold and stern, "Call Leandro, launch a hostile takeover of that company. bankrupt himt by tomorrow evening!"
"Understood, sir. The police have also been called. The evidence is airtight, and he's a habitual harasser - they'll ensure he faces the consequences."
Only then did Dennis get up and go outside.
He saw Lily singling the man out and tearing into him, full of fire.
That sleazebag was being berated by Lily and couldn't answer back - mainly because he'd had his teeth knocked out, couldn't speak clearly, and was in agony.
Dennis walked over and passed Lily a bottle of water.
Lily'svoice was parched from all the scolding.
She turned to the police officers and said, "I've explained the whole process. I was completely strictly defending myself."
"We have the gist of the situation."
They promptly cuffed the young man, but he hurled insults, "Why am I being detainede? I’m the one who was attacked! Don't you know who my father is? I'm rich!"
Lily heard the young man was being taken away and immediately felt a sense of justice.
A lowlife like him had it coming.
But the trainers who sided with the guy were still there.
One trainer was outraged, "Boss, how can you protectthis woman? My high-paying client is rich - this female college student clearly had a agenda to trap him."
Now, great, the guy was arrested, and his own paycheck just went up in smoke.
What's the big deal about a rich guy messing around with a few girls?
Dennis's eyes hardened, his whole presence turning icy.
Cameron saw Dennis was angry and stepped up tothe male trainer, "What are you talking about? Your male client, relying on having some blood money, his true characterin private - don't you know deep down?"
They were all men - they all knew the score what the others were thinking?
Rolf also caught Dennis's look looked grim. He looked at the male trainer, "You guys go to HR today to collect your final check. I can't use employees with such warped morals."
"Fine, I’m out of here regardless."
"Exactly, it was consensual to begin with, why get on your high horse!"
Before leaving, the male trainer looked at Dennis, "Don't let her play you by this female college student. Who knows how many men she's been with behind your back?"
Dennis swept the trainer's legs, his eyes cold.
He intoned, "Say you're sorry!"
