Chapter 25
Two weeks later Bianca drew out her travelling bag out of Kylie's room that she had been sharing with the girl for the past weeks and stopped on her track in front of Jaime "Don't say that I didn't warn you" she said "if you ever hurt my sister, I won't hesitate to kill you and spend the rest of my life locked up"
Jaime nodded and believed Bianca's threat "I won't hurt her. I promise"
Olivia sighed and smiled at her sister before helping her with the traveling bag.
"I love you big sis" Olivia said as Bianca was about to start her car "I love you too and don't hesitate to call me if anything happens" Bianca said to Olivia while looking at Jaime straight in the eyes "Don't worry about me. I will be okay" Olivia said with a reassuring smile "Okay" Bianca said and started her car Jaime sighed heavily once Bianca was gone and said "Your sister…"
"I know what you're trying to say"
"I said nothing"
"You're scared of her, aren't you?" Olivia asked "Who wouldn't be" Jaime replied and smiled at Olivia Once they were back inside, they sat on opposite couches and Jaime said, "Are you sure that this is the right time?"
"Yeah. I'm done hiding your true identity from her"
Jaime sighed "I'm nervous all of a sudden"
"Likewise I" Olivia replied Jaime got up and said "I'm about to go pick her up from school"
"Okay. Safe journey."
Jaime moved closer to her and started kissing her and after kissing for few minutes, they broke apart while looking at each other's straight in the eyes "Thanks for giving me a second chance" Jaime said "I never dreamed of seeing you again"
"I'm sorry for all the pains that I've caused you," Jaime said, placing a hand on her shoulder. He gave her one light kiss on the lips before he headed out of the house.

"Jaime," Kylie called and ran toward him.
"My little girl," Jaime said. "How are you?"
"Feeling great," Kylie replied. "Mom told me something this morning before you arrived. She said she has a surprise for me this afternoon. She said I should tell nobody, but I can trust you, can't I?"
"Of course you can," Jaime replied and started his car. "What is the surprise about?"
"I don't know," Kylie replied. "I've been thinking about it since morning because mom being mom, she doesn’t always talk about surprising me."

"Come" Kylie turned around and said to Jaime when they got home "what are you waiting for?"
"I will join you in a minute. I have to get something out of the car" Jaime said to her "Can I help you with it?"
"No" Jaime replied "Just go in"
"Okay" Kylie said and ran to the door "Mom!" She called Olivia opened the door with her heart beating so hard inside her chest. She had no idea what Kylie's reaction was going to be, but she knew she had to do this before it's too late.
"Hey baby" she said to Kylie and bent down to give her some pecks on her cheeks. "How was school today?"
"Great. The surprise?" Kylie asked and looked around the sitting room "We will have to sit down and talk first"
Kylie looked at her mother curiously but said nothing. Her mother had been acting strange for some days now because the last time Kylie saw her mother drunk was the day she had fallen.
Kylie sat next to her mother and gave her all her attention.
"Some years ago" Olivia started "You asked me a question about who your father is"
Kylie nodded her head "And I replied to your question by saying he is dead."
Kylie nodded again "It wasn't a lie because as far as I was concerned, he was dead."
"Was dead?" Kylie asked with her eyebrows knitted together "His biological mother told me that herself and I believed her."
"Did she lie?" Kylie asked.
Olivia nodded with tears in her eyes before she answered "She lied. He didn't die. He is alive."
Tears rolled down from Kylie's eyes and she whimpered, "All my life, I've always believed that I didn't have a daddy and now you're telling me that I have a daddy. Mom!" She sobbed harder and hugged Olivia. "Am I dreaming?"
"No, you're not, my little girl."
"What does my daddy look like? When will I get to meet him? Will he love us? Will he want us to become a complete family? How did you know that he is still living?"
"One question at a time, sweetie," Olivia said and smiled weakly.
"Okay. When will I get to meet him?" Kylie asked.
"When do you want to meet him?"
"As soon as possible."
Jaime, who had been standing in front of the door wiped away his tears with the back of his hand while waiting for Olivia's signal.
"What about now, cutie?" Olivia asked Kylie.
"What do you mean?" Kylie said.
"What if you meet him now?"
"Are you serious?"
Olivia nodded while smiling.
"Let me go and wash my face first," Kylie said self-consciously and got up.
"You don't have to," a familiar voice said at the door before pressing the door handle. Kylie turned her head toward the door at a rate at which she could have broken her neck while Olivia also got out of the couch. "You are the most beautiful girl I've ever seen," the voice continued, and Jaime stepped inside the room.
Kylie's mouth dropped open and she looked from the man that was standing in front of her to her mother.
"Jaime?" She questioned when she could finally talk. "Mom, what is going on?"
Olivia bent down in order to be on the same eye level with Kylie "Kylie," she called softly with tears in her eyes. "Your biological father is Jaime Scott. I'm sorry for telling you this now."
"Dad," Kylie called while looking at Jaime. "Dad," she called again and started moving toward Jaime at a very slow pace.
"Daughter," Jaime also called and started moving toward her.
All of a sudden, Kylie sprinted and jumped into Jaime's arms while she screamed "Daddy!!!"
"Daughter!!!"
Olivia looked at them while smiling with tears in her eyes. She had never thought that a day like this will happen.
Jaime and Kylie were like that for almost three minutes before Olivia also walked to where they were and hugged them "I've always known that there's something strange about you" Kylie said to Jaime "How do you know" Jaime asked Kylie paused for some seconds as if she was thinking about how to answer the question before she said "I don't know"
