Chapter 149 Knight Paul

Paul's chair was lifted up, and the stainless steel chair legs shone with a metallic luster in the sunlight.

Hanson was frightened by Paul's roughness, kept backing away, and reached out, shouting for help!

The onlookers were also scared by the exposed brutality, and no one dared to help Hanson.

Just as Paul was about to smash the chair down on Hanson, a voice behind him suddenly stopped him.

"M... Mr. Parker, stop!" Emma ran over panting, supporting her legs and gasping for breath.

Someone in the crowd recognized Emma. "Isn't she that bitch on the internet?"

"Didn't you hear what the guy holding the chair said? The one lying on the ground is a scumbag. It's all this guy spreading rumors," another one whispered.

Some onlookers whispered to each other, while others recorded the scene with their phones.

Emma looked at Paul pleadingly and said, "Mr. Parker, stop hitting him please. There must be some misunderstanding."

"Cut the crap! This scumbag, he spread your rumors on the internet and slandered you! Son of bitch, he deserves this!" Paul was very annoyed by Emma's plea, but he did put down the chair.

Just when Hanson thought he was going to be saved, Paul wedged the chair onto Hanson. He sat on the chair, looking down at Hanson.

"I know you too well, you're just a coward who slanders behind others because you can't get what you want. You're just a parasite hiding behind the internet, shaking in fear whenever you show your face." Paul's relentless tone and fierce gaze provoked Hanson.

"I'm not, you're talking rubbish!" Hanson roared hoarsely.

Paul responded to Hanson with an even louder roar. "Who made false promises to his girlfriend while taking her money to sleep with other women? Who, after breaking up, caused a scene at his girlfriend's company because he lost his source of income and then slandered her online? Do you dare say you didn't do these things?"

Paul's murderous gaze scared Hanson. He was so frightened that he didn't dare say a word.

Pointing at the crying Emma, Paul huffed to Hanson. "Look at this girl, Emma said that when you were together, you were a kind person. Emma doesn't think you're a bad person and has been speaking up for you. Yet you still act like a victim, holy shit! You're just a complete scumbag!"

"Mr. Parker, let's go." Emma, with tears in her eyes, pulled Paul to leave. She was completely disappointed in Hanson.

Emma's reaction finally provoked Hanson, who got up from the ground and shouted at Paul and Emma's backs. "Emma, you bitch, I don't need your pity. Your affairs have been spread on the internet, and soon your reputation will be ruined. Just wait!"

In a rage, Paul turned around to go back and beat Hanson, but Emma held him back tightly.

"I've called the police and collected evidence. Mr. Parker, just ignore him," Emma said, making Paul reluctantly lower his clenched fist and give Hanson a fierce glare before leaving.

That night, Michelle called Paul to the bar. Paul thought Michelle wanted to discuss work matters with him. To his surprise, Michelle showed him a few videos.

The first video showed Paul grabbing a man by the collar and shouting, "I'm that girl's boyfriend."

The second video showed Paul punching Hanson three times.

The third video showed Paul sitting on a chair and accusing Hanson.

"Mr. Parker, you're quite popular online now, everyone calls you the knight who protects the princess!" Michelle teased Paul, pointing at the videos.

Paul rolled his eyes, took a sip of his drink, and asked, "So, do you think this matter is too embarrassing to discuss at the company, and that's why you called me to the bar?"

"Although that guy is indeed a scumbag, your actions are also on the edge of the law. Most importantly, Mr. Parker, you seem to be very popular. When did you become Emma's boyfriend?" Michelle scrutinized Paul, her eyes carrying a probing tone.

Paul sensed something was off from Michelle's tone and immediately explained, "I was just defending her at that time."

As soon as Paul finished speaking, Michelle suddenly grabbed his collar, her eyes filled with resentment.

"Emma, Cecil, and Carol, why do so many women like you? Tell me, why!" Michelle roared.
