Chapter 362 Oliver vs. Nicole: I Acted All Cute

Chapter 362 Oliver vs. Nicole: I Acted All Cute
Oliver guided her hand and touched it.
She felt his breathing grow heavier and the warmth in her palm intensify.
As her palm pressed against it, she felt it taut and rigid.
He let out a muffled groan and pressed his forehead against her shoulder.
She placed her other hand on the nape of his neck, running her fingertips through his hair and gently tugging.
His hand slid off the back of hers and settled on her waist instead.
She moved her hand slowly back and forth over that part of him—not too hard and not too fast—yet his breathing grew heavier.
His hand slid from her side to her lower back, pulling her closer to him.
Her palm grew hot from the friction.
She quickened her movements slightly, and his muffled groans grew louder.
His fingers clenched the fabric at her waist.
His eyes were closed, his lips slightly parted, and his breath burst against her collarbone.
His hand slid from her waist to her buttocks, giving it a gentle squeeze.
She let out a soft moan and tightened her grip on his hand.
Just as he was about to climax, he grabbed her wrist, pulled her hand away, and leaned down to kiss her.
The kiss was brief yet intense.
The tip of his tongue darted inside and teased her before withdrawing.
Their foreheads pressed together.
His breathing hadn’t quite settled yet, and his chest was still rising and falling.
The warmth of his member lingered in her palm—hot and pressed against it.
He pulled her into his arms and buried his face in the crook of her neck.
She curled up against him, feeling his heartbeat gradually slow.
It wasn't until much later that his breathing returned to normal.
By the time they actually got up, it was almost one o'clock.
Nicole lay face down on the bed, exhausted.
Oliver went downstairs, poured her a glass of milk, and got a piece of bread.
He brought the food in and stood by the bed, looking at the person he’d worn out.
"You need to do more exercise," he said with a smile.
He sat down and brushed the hair away from her ear. “Are you still satisfied with me?”
She rolled over.
He leaned down and kissed her earlobe. "Get up and eat something."
"I don't want to eat."
"Being disobedient again?" His tone was teasing.
He picked her up, set her in a chair, and handed her the milk.
Only then did she reach for the glass and take a few gulps.
She picked up the piece of bread and started eating it.
"Bastard," she muttered under her breath.
Oliver watched her.
"Aren't you tired?" she asked, her tone tinged with reproach.
"Not at all. I enjoyed making you happy." He smiled.
She shot him a disapproving glance.
She’d lazed around at home all day.
Oliver went to the office and ran some errands.

In the evening, the housekeeper arrived to cook dinner.
She prepared the meal and simmered some soup before leaving.
Oliver happened to return.
Nicole was still curled up on the couch playing a game. "You're back?"
"I'm back," he said, walking over. "Want a hug, Dr. Nicole?"
She put down her phone and spread her arms wide.
He took off his jacket, leaned down to kiss her forehead, and then picked her up.
She wrapped her arms around his neck, kissed him on the cheek, and rested her head on his shoulder.
“Are you not mad anymore?” he asked.
"I'm mad!" she pouted.
"Should I do it a little less?" He looked down at her as if they were seriously negotiating. "Once every other day?"
Seeing that she hadn’t spoken, he added, "Just tell me when you want it."

Two days later,
Oliver was packing his bags at home; he had booked his flight to England.
Nicole had gotten the keys to the old house and planned to take a look with Rosalind.
Rosalind was driving and glanced at Nicole several times.
Although she had put on makeup, the dark circles under her eyes were still visible.
“Nicole,” Rosalind spoke up.
“Hmm?” Nicole gazed out the window without turning around.
"If there's anything you want to talk about, just tell me. Don’t keep it bottled up inside.” Rosalind softened her tone.
Nicole turned her head and glanced at her. "Do I look like the type who'd do something reckless?"
“No, but that makes me even more worried.”
"There's nothing to be reckless about. It's all in the past.” Nicole said calmly.
Rosalind gave Nicole a look. “Oliver’s so good to you.”
"Rosalind, it's about time you started dating," Nicole said with a smile. "Mr. Wren seems pretty nice."
Rosalind’s heart skipped a few beats.
"It’s nice to be single—free to go out and check out all the hot guys, isn’t it? Are you trying to drag me into the trap of marriage too? Dream on!”
Nicole leaned back in her seat, recalling the image of Oliver showering last night.
His physique was so much better than other guys.
“Hey, you’re spacing out. Are you thinking about Oliver?” Rosalind cut right to the chase.
Nicole didn’t deny it. "Of course I am. He’s my husband.”
"How did you tame your husband?" Rosalind asked, curious.
"I acted all cute," Nicole said, her tone tinged with mystery.
“How exactly did you do it?”
Nicole pouted. "There's no way I'm telling you that."
"Nicole, tell me, please," Rosalind said, imitating her voice in a high-pitched tone. “Honey, please help me.”
Nicole frowned. "Rosalind, that's disgusting!"
Rosalind laughed.
Nicole couldn’t help but laugh along with her.
“Come on, tell me! How did you do it? Let me learn from you!" Rosalind asked, her face full of curiosity.
Nicole muttered under her breath, "Grandpa was right—Oliver really is a good choice."
Rosalind gave her an amused look.
