Chapter 352 Oliver vs. Nicole: Blushing
Chapter 352 Oliver vs. Nicole: Blushing
The mattress sank as Nicole’s back pressed against the sheets.
Oliver leaned in on top of her, using his knees to spread her legs apart.
He guided himself inside her.
She let out a soft moan and furrowed her brow.
He paused to let her adjust and waited until she nodded before pushing deeper.
Once he was fully inside her, she raised her arms to wrap them around his neck, wrapping her legs around his waist.
He began moving in and out of her, pausing each time he reached the deepest point. His rhythm seemed designed to tease her.
Her moans grew more urgent in sync with his.
Her fingers dug into his back, leaving faint red marks on his skin.
"Nicole." His voice was low and hoarse against her ear.
She bit her lip, her eyes closed, and her breathing was a chaotic jumble.
He pressed his lips against the corner of her mouth.
She wrapped her legs around him tighter.
“I’m close...”
She came first, her whole body going rigid and her insides clenching tightly before going limp.
He thrust a few more times, let out a muffled groan, and buried himself deep inside her.
He lay on top of her, panting, for a long while before pulling out.
He rolled over to lie beside her, reaching out to pull her into his arms.
After a while, he leaned down, kissed the top of her head, and tightened his arms around her.
"Want something to eat?" he asked, lying next to her and playing with her hair.
The next morning, he made breakfast and waited for her.
She glanced at the suitcase in the corner of the living room. “Are you going on a long trip?”
"Yeah, I have some business to take care of in the countryside. I'm not sure when I’ll be back.” Oliver placed the bowl in front of her.
Nicole started to feel a little reluctant. "Will you be gone long?"
"At least a week." He ruffled her hair. "If you miss me, I'll call you every day."
"Okay." She suddenly felt that being in love could really be addictive, especially with a charming man like Oliver.
Oliver watched her eat her noodles with her head down.
Casually, he asked, "The outfit from last night got ruined. Should I buy you a few more sets?”
She almost choked. "No need. It's okay."
"I still want to see you wear it," he said.
She swallowed her mouthful of noodles.
“Are you okay with that?” he pressed shamelessly.
Ignoring him, she kept her head down.
He watched her, smiling.
It was drizzling outside.
When Oliver left, he didn’t let her walk him out.
His driver took him to the airport.
Before leaving, he reminded her, "If I can't make it back in time, go to Liam and Shawn. Don’t feel bad about it.”
He’d wanted to mention Philip, but the words died on his lips.
He still didn’t want her to get too close to someone who had feelings for her.
She nodded.
"Don't go out unless you have to. Wait for me to come back,” Oliver said, pinching her cheek.
She placed her hand over his and pressed her face against his palm. "I'll wait for you."
Oliver wrapped his arm around her waist and kissed her. “Wait for me to come back.”
After Oliver left, Nicole planned to stay home alone.
Rosalind’s advertising project for the West Hotel was almost finished, so she had time to come over and visit.
When Rosalind arrived, Nicole was sitting on the couch reading the notebook on natural therapies that Dr. Kirk had left her.
"Are you really going to switch careers and become a natural therapist?" Rosalind flopped down on the couch.
“I do plan to,” Nicole said. "Once this is over, I’ll find a quiet spot and open a small health counseling clinic."
It was something she’d always wanted to do.
In the past, she’d let her family make all her decisions: her education, her career, and her marriage.
But this time, she wanted to make her own choice.
Rosalind rolled over. "There's an old neighborhood on the outskirts of town with a nice atmosphere. When I was putting up ads there before, I saw an old courtyard with a huge jacaranda tree. When it blooms, the whole tree is covered in purple flowers.”
“Is that place available for rent?” Nicole asked.
“I don’t know, but Margot, who lives in the courtyard, has a pretty strange temperament. She’s lived there alone for decades and chases anyone who gets too close away with a broom. So, while the place is beautiful, no one dares to go near it.”
Nicole was a little disappointed. "Never mind, then."
"We could sneak a peek while she’s out shopping."
“Forget it. It’d be embarrassing if she caught us and kicked us out.”
Rosalind smiled, rolled over, and went back to sleep.
Nicole lowered her head and resumed reading.
Just as Rosalind had fallen asleep, the doorbell rang.
