Chapter 350 Oliver vs. Nicole — Bunny Girl
Blushing, Nicole quickly opened the window to let in some fresh air.
During dinner, Nicole was completely distracted, her mind racing with thoughts of how to get Oliver to pay her more attention.
“Not hungry?” Oliver asked.
“No, it’s delicious.” She added a piece of meat to his plate, then lowered her head and began eating earnestly.
After dinner, she stood nearby, watching him clean up.
“I’m going upstairs to take a shower.” She was trying to test him—to figure out what he meant by "going for a walk."
She hoped he’d get the hint.
Oliver glanced at her. "Okay."
Nicole seemed to pick up on the hint and turned to go upstairs.
As she walked, she muttered under her breath, "It's so inconsiderate that a woman has to be the one to bring this up first."
Pouting, she went upstairs, locked the door, and paced around the walk-in closet several times before finally pulling out the bunny girl outfit Claire had forced on her.
Frowning, she picked it up. "Claire, you're trying to kill me..."
She accidentally bumped the switch, and the tail started wagging on its own.
She quickly pressed the switch to stop it.
The tail fell to the floor, and she stared at it for a long time.
"Isn't this going too far?"
"Ugh, do I really have to do this?"
"Forget it. I'm not even going to bother!"
It took her a long time to psych herself up before she finally stepped into the bathroom.
She took a thorough shower, shaved her legs, slathered on body lotion, and sprayed a little perfume on her wrists.
After blow-drying her hair, she put on rabbit ears, slipped into a ridiculously short jumpsuit, fastened a tail, and stepped into her high heels.
She stood in front of the mirror.
"It's actually kind of cute," she said, wiggling her hips. "I wonder if Oliver will like it."
She patted her face. "Don't get nervous..."
KNOCK!
There were knocks at the door.
She jumped in surprise, held her breath, and shuffled toward the door.
“Nicole.” Oliver’s voice came from outside.
Nicole took a deep breath and asked, "Did you take a shower?"
“I did.”
Nicole swallowed hard.
She pulled the door open just a crack.
The two locked eyes for seconds.
BANG!
She slammed the door shut, locked it from the inside, and shut out.
Oliver was completely bewildered.
Nicole paced back and forth in the room, blushing.
Oliver froze outside the door, his Adam's apple bobbing.
It seemed like he’d missed his chance.
She was wearing high heels and a bunny girl outfit—she’d obviously been ready for this.
When Nicole opened the door, she was wearing a tracksuit.
She stepped out nervously and closed the door behind her.
Oliver gazed at her intently.
Embarrassed, she began, "Come on, let's go..."
Before she could finish, Oliver cupped her face, leaned in, and kissed her.
The kiss was forceful. She was pushed back two steps, her back pressing against the door.
He kissed her fiercely and urgently.
By the time they returned to the room, their clothes were scattered across the floor.
He braced his hands on either side of her and kissed her neck.
His voice was hoarse. "I was going to let you rest for two days...and yet you still dared to tease me."
"Why don't you go change into that outfit and show it to me?" His tone softened, tinged with a hint of coaxing.
Her whole body froze.
He just rubbed her cheek. "Love you."
"Why have you been so cold to me these past two days?" Her voice was very low and tinged with hesitation.
He paused for a moment, as if he had just realized what she meant.
Then, he couldn't help but laugh.
"Let me guess—did you dress like this today to test me? Are you afraid I’m upset? Or that I don’t like you anymore?” he asked.
She didn’t respond.
Oliver kissed the tip of her nose. "I mess with you three or four times a day. Doesn't that bother you?"
He sighed, rolled over, and pulled her into his arms. "I've told you before—you don't have to sacrifice yourself to please anyone. Not even me.”
She snuggled closer to him. "I don't feel like I'm sacrificing myself when I please you."
He played with her hair. "But it breaks my heart."
She tilted her head and met his gaze.
He looked down at her. “Don’t doubt me.”
She rested her face against his chest, feeling his quickening heartbeat.
Suddenly, she pulled the blanket over his head and crawled out from under it. "No peeking. Wait for me."
She hurried into the walk-in closet.
Oliver pulled the blanket down and watched her retreating figure, unable to suppress a smile.
His Adam's apple bobbed as she emerged wearing the bunny girl outfit.
She stood before him looking a little self-conscious, tugging at the hem of her outfit and glancing at him awkwardly.
He got up and walked over, placing both hands on her slender waist.
He pressed his forehead against hers, and his breathing deepened.
Nicole stiffened for a moment, then moved her hand from his waist to his chest. “Can I make a request?”
Oliver leaned close to her ear. "Go ahead."
"Could you be a little gentler?"
