"Your not really going to take her in are you?" She asked.
"Hell no she will die like the rest of them, but right now she thinks she is going to live the high life where it is done. She is a stupid woman," I said laughing.
"Alpha Brent they just pulled in." A warrior said in a link to me.
"On my way," I responded and closed the link.
"Let's go greet the asshole, " I said to Lori as I got up and headed for the door. We walked over to where they parked the truck. They had Just got out and saw us coming.
"Alpha Brent they both said bowing their heads. When Nash lifted his head I smashed my fist into his face.
"That is for being such a fuck up, all you had to do was report back to me. But as usual Nash you had to get greedy and fuck things up. One more mistake and you’re as good as dead. You better have killed those two guards they had with you." I told him.
"Yah, they are dead in the bushes where no one will find them." He said.
"About time you did something right. Maggie dear, Lori told me you're an amazing cook, I beg you to take over the kitchen, these dumb asses don't know how to cook, please?" I said putting on my best smile.
"Alpha Brent it would be my pleasure, let me get a few things from the truck and I will go right over." Maggie said.
"I will take you over and let them know you're in charge," Lori told her.
"You're a life save Maggie dear," I said then grabbed Nash and dragged him off with me.
After I gave Nash a good lecture with my fists.
I took my car and went to meet Tala. I wanted to know what was happening in the pack. When I pulled into the truck stop there she was standing by her little yellow Volkswagen. I pulled up beside her and told her to get in. Once she was in I left the truck stop.
"What's going on at the pack?" I asked.
"The night they got home we went to yellow, I have not heard why. They have also doubled up on the patrols. Blake and Garrison have been there for two days locked up in Titan office. He has his bodyguards all over the pack house. They even check the food before it goes up to the Alpha floor. Oh, they came home with Raven's mother, she is as powerful as Loria your going to have someone who can deal with them." Tala told me.
"Wonder why they went to yellow; you talk to everyone about it?" I asked.
"Yes, if they know they are not saying. Deisel is on my ass again watching me I had a hard time getting out. Used my caned vegetables and fruit as a reason, you can take the lot I expect to be paid for them." She said
"Not a problem. I finally have a decent cook. I will message you in a couple of days, keep your head down and stay out of trouble don't ask to many questions that will draw attention to you, got it?" I asked as I pulled back into the truck stop.
"Not my first rodeo, I know how to handle shit." She said. We both got out and transferred the food to my trunk then I handed her some cash. Got in my car and headed back to the hideout. They must think Hunter or Morris were up to something again, that would be the only reason for it. I had to get Lori to find me a couple of really good witches fast, I needed those two women handled.
TITAN'S POV
I was sitting in my office waiting for Garrison and Blake when Deisel came running in.
"Alpha Titan we have a problem," Deisel said as he started to pace the floor.
"Settle down, and tell me what is going on," I told him.
"You know how you have had me watching Tala," he said quite upset. Garrison and Blake came into the office before I could say anything.
"Do you want us to come back?" Garrison asked.
"No, have a seat you both probably need to here this." I told them then got up and went and go the whiskey and one-shot glass. After pouring the shot I passed it to Deisel.
"Drink this then sit down and take a couple of deep breaths," I told me. Once he had done what I asked. He looked calmer.
"Ok, Deisel what about Tala?" I asked.
"She left pack lands this morning, I asked where she was going. She told me to sell her caned goods. I have never seen her go to the market. So I let her go after I slipped a tracker on her car. Then I followed her Alpha this is not good," he said starting to get upset again.
"Calm down and tell me what you found out," I said in a calm voice.
"Alpha she went to a truck stop got in a car and left with the driver, I removed the tracker and waited for her to come back. She was gone about twenty minutes. Then got out of the guys car. I didn't see his face at first they were loading stuff from her car to his when he closed his trunk and turned to pay her I wanted to Jump out of my truck and kill them both." He said agitated.
"Who was it?" I asked. He did not answer at first he was trying o get himself under control.
"It was Alpha Brent. When he left I tried to follow him but lost him. Sorry." He said.
"Your sure it was Brent?" I asked.
"Positive Alpha, I know that snake anywhere." Deisel said.
"Ok don't say anything to anyone, have Khal to start to watch her. While I figure out how we can use this to our advantage. Go relax thank you for letting me know." I told him.
When he was gone I was able to lose the calmness. I was angry. I wanted to go and lock her up in the dungeon and beat her until she tells me were Brent us hiding. But she probably does nit know if they met at a truck stop.
"Titan what are you thinking?" Garrison asked.
"Beside that I want to torture her and get her to confess to everything she has done." I told him.
"How are we going to deal with this," Blake asked.
I think we should see if he contacts her again and then follow her and then put a tractor on his vehicle so we can find out where he is and we can watch him." I said.
"Titan if we can find out were he is it is better to fight him away from the pack. He wants to do what his grandfather did and wipe your pack out completely." Garrison said.
