Chapter 19 CHAPTER 19
"Thank you but we will take what we came here for first. The taller man threw me to the ground, before I could react they were all over me. Ripping my new clothes groping at me. The one kept his hand over my eyes.
That was until the taller one ripped open my pants. Spirit came forward like she never had before. She bit the man covering my eyes he jumped back howling in pain. The other punched me in the face. Moving his hand to my throat to choak me. Spirit forced her claws out of my hands and clawed the face of the one on top of me. He screamed and I was able to stand. The other man had recovered. He started coming towards me I set his feet on fire. Quickly I grabbed my bucket and ran back to our camp. Roman was the first to see me stumble from the forest. He grabbed a blanket and wrapped me in it, then picked me up and carried me to our little enclosure. It was the third time I cried since I had left my parents. I was trembling. Kyle and Nigel stood outside.
"I will get some water and soap to wash her up" Kyle told Roman. Nigel bent down close to me lifting my chin to look at him.
"Did they rape you Raven?" He asked.
"No, Spirit stopped them." I said.
Roman looked at my hands my claws had not completely retracted.
"I think our girl is ready to shift. He said talking the water soap and cloths from Kyle. You both go do something while I clean her up she does not need you looking at her while I check her. They both left but did not go far.
"It is a good thing I go you two sets of clothes. Now don't start fussing I need to check you to see if you have any broken bones"
He removed my shredded clothes and check the bruises and checked for broken bones when he touched my ribs I screamed in pain.
"Nigel, we need to bandage her ribs. Four of them are broken." Roman told him. Your face is not going to look as pretty for a while Raven. He said as he cleaned up the blood from my face. Kyle in the bottom of my bag is some herbal tea for pain can you make some?" Roman asked.
"On it." He responded. Roman finally finished dressing my wounds and bandaging my ribs. He helped me dress. We could hear a lot of commotion coming from the other camp. Roman helped me sit by the fire and Kyle gave me the tea it was very bitter but Roman made me drink it all. The fish was cooking on the fire, and I had my head on Roman’s shoulder. I was still in pain. Talon and Imara appeared out of the darkness. Imara went o run to me, but Talon stopped her.
"What do you have to say for yourself girl?" Talon said angrily. I looked at him confused.
"Don't play Dum child why did you attack my two men?" He asked. Roman stood up so fast I nearly fell over. Nigel caught me.
"I think you have it wrong Talon why did they attack her, by her clothes or lack there of when she ran back here we know why." Roman said. He threw the clothes I was wearing at Imara. She held them up. And looked at Talon angrily.
"Tell us what happened Raven." She said softly.
I explained everything to her. She was shocked.
"Talon you were told to make sure you ass holes did not go near her." She yelled. Then she turned to Roman.
"What were you thinking letting her go fishing alone. " she yelled at him.
I had enough Roman had done nothing but look after me while she was doing who knows what, I stood up and got in her face.
"Where were you?, you appointed yourself my care giver, then along come this ass and you abandon me and the family to playhouse. You believe what you want they attacked me I defended myself." I yelled at her
"You call that defending yourself?" Talon demanded.
"Shove it ass hole I'm out of here, I have to find my way not sit here for months so you can playhouse." I yelled and turned to pack my things. When two large hand grabbed me around my ribs and lifted me up. I screamed in pain.
"Put her down Talon, she has four broken ribs!" Roman yelled taking me from Talon’s grasp.
"How did she get broken ribs?" Imara asked.
"Ask the guys who attacked her?" Nigel said taking me to sit back down.
"They broke her ribs?" Talon asked in a calmer tone.
"Look at her face she did not run into a tree, and there are claw marks on her inner upper legs. Need I say more?" Roman asked standing between Talon and me. Talon and Imara turned and walked away. The he stopped and came back.
"You will not leave or you will be punished." He said and left again. Roman came and sat with me.
"The four of us will leave as soon as we get a chance." He said. Putting a protective arm around me.
ALPHA BLAKE'S POV
There was a large presents of rouges just southeast of our boarders. They were not on pack land so We could not make them move. At first they were just there causing no issues with the pack. One even went to our town just outside of pack land and bought clothes ad shoes he said were for his daughter. He paid for everything in cash and was very well mannered. He even tipped the girl for helping him. He came back a month later and bought her some more clothes and asked the salesgirl to find some under clothing for a girl almost eighteen. The salesgirl told me he was embarrassed when she asked how big her bust was and what she like to wear on the bottom. I watched the video from the store he was quite embarrassed. I told the salesgirl to find some things and have then ready for when he came back. Tell him it is a gift from you Alpha. She nodded. and left after I gave her a list of item. He looked like an honest man. They just had no pack, and he was trying to do right by a girl with no mother. Or so it seemed. When he came in two days later he said he forgot socks and a good pair of hiking boots. He refused the bag but thanked her. I had him followed. The scout report back that there was a girl about 18 with the man and two other men. They were about twenty yards from a larger pack of rouges he estimated their were about thirty-five of them. The man and the three others did not go near the larger group.
