"No, she was not seeing anyone that I know of. She did get a part time job in the city working in the mall. She was planning on going to business school in the fall. She wanted to pay her own way. You know how independent she has always been." Calvin told me.
"We will figure it out Calvin. Everyone still on curfew here?" I asked.
"Yes, we get the odd teens who forget to watch the time when at the beach but a yell from the guards about curfew and they apologized and run home. They are excited to get an extra hour out for the next couple of months.' He told me.
"So what are you going to do about Ella? you can't play favorites." I asked.
"Don't intend to, she shows great potential to be one of the most powerful, she need to learn control and patience. She does not have enough confidence in herself. On top of all that she knows we are mates she is adjusting to that too. She is very inquisitive.
This gets her in trouble in class a lot. But she has a side of her where she is very scared. I don't know if it that we are mates or what. I hope Raven can help her." Calvin explained to me.
"She is young, look how long we waited to find our mates. In the human world we would be considered dirty old men for having such young mates." I told him.
"This is true, come on I will give you a tour of the new housing we have almost finished." Calvin said getting up. As we went up in the elevator I turned to him.
"Raven is right about one thing that room stinks get them to clean it better. I know her smell is highly sensitive but if I can smell it they are not doing a good job of it." I told him.
"I will have them go down today, Titan my apologizes." He said.
We went out of the pack house everyone started coming and saying hello as we walked around. I took notice there were a lot of repairs that had not been done.
"Who is in charge of making sure repairs get done?" I asked.
"Eric, I have been on his ass about it already he has been saying it will get done but nothing does." Calvin said.
"Calvin, we have to fix this shit, all of it or I will be forced to come home and neither of us want that." I told him.
"I understand, Titan. Everything was fine until Eric got the shit in his head again that neither of us should be Alpha. He knows he will loss in an Alpha challenge. So he is going to try and kill you and me. I just can't get the proof. Now he is pissed more because I found my mate. All I hear from is reject her she is but a child. She can never be Luna." Calvin told me the more he talked the anger he got.
"Calvin take some time to meditate and relax you need a clear head to deal with this. I know it is hard when they threaten our mates." I told him.
"You're right, I have to stop letting him get under my skin. Ella means the world to me I became a changed man because of her." He said.
"I understand completely Calvin." I told him as we went into the training area.
RAVEN'S POV
When we got to Ella's room Valen sat me in a chair telling me there was a round table coffee table in front of me. Then stood behind my chair. I heard Ella thank someone and bring in a cart or trolly and brought it to the table. I could sense that Ella was uncomfortable with Valen being in the room.
"Ella, after I have my coffee and know where it is on the table, I will have Valen step outside while we chat. Does that make you feel better?" I asked. I guess she nodded as Valen leaned down and suggested that I remind Ella that I could not see and she needed to be verbal with her answers.
"Ella, dear if you want Valen to leave so we can talk privately you will have to answer yes or no when I talk to you." I told her.
"Oh my Goddess, Raven I'm sorry I totally for forgot." Ella said upset with herself.
"It is fine sweetie, Valen can you give us some private time I will let you know if I need you."
"Yes, Luna." Valen said and I head him leave closing the door.
"Raven, I'm so confused about all these feeling. I know he my mate I feel the mate bond, but I'm young I know nothing about being a Luna, I still have training to do. All the other kids treat me differently. I really like being with Calvin he is so sweet and caring. I don't think I'm ready for ... um you know. I have my wolf, but I have not had my first shift. Eric some how already tried to kill me." Ella told me letting it all out poor girl. "Ella you need to take one day at a time Calvin is not going to make you do anything you don't want to do." I told her.
"But why me, he should reject me and mate someone more suitable for the job of Luna." Ella said in tears.
"Now Ella do you honestly want him to do that?" I asked.
"No, but it is better for the pack." She said.
"Your wrong, Ella. Do you know I felt exactly like you did when Titan told me we were mates. I was older than you. But all I thought was who would want a blind Luna. I can't be Luna I'm blind." I told her.
"Oh my Goddess, Raven your the best Luna ever. You care so much about your people and made so many changes o the pack fir the good all us girl idolize you." Ella said.
"Thank you, Ella but that is not how I felt at first. But then one day I put my big girl shoes on and said I can do this, and I know you will be able too as well. You remind me so much of me when I found out Titan was my mate, but I fought it for a long time." I told her.
"I'm scared" Ella said.
"I understand that I was too. But I know you and your strong and caring, you would do anything to protect your pack, you just need to relax and go slow one day at a time, be you not what you think others want you to be. Your special Ella remember that; keep you heart pure and full of love for everyone." I told her. I heard her get up, she came over and hugged me.
