Chapter 148 148
"Just Calvin please, the only Alpha is Titan." I said. There was silence on the other end of the line.
"Titan did, I sat something wrong," I asked nervously.
"No, Calvin, I'm still in the process of explaining everything to Raven." Titan said.
"To be honest I'm not understanding everything but I'm sure I will after Titan tells me the rest tonight. How are the families doing that were sent to you?" Raven asked.
"They are all adjusting pretty well. Tomorrow I will talk to some of the parents about what work they would like." The five children started class today. Three are adjusting well. Two will take time." I said.
"Who is causing you problems," Titan asked.
"Celestia and Ella" I told him.
"Really, I'm very surprised." Titan said.
"Celestia is coming around but Ella..." I did not continue. I did not know how to tell him.
"I don't understand Calvin, can you try to explain?" Titan asked.
"Let me say I don't know weather to kill you or kiss you." I laughed.
"Hopefully neither." Titan said confused.
"Ah, Titan, Ella is rebellious, disrespectful, challenging, stubborn. Yet sweet and loving her smile lights up the room. She has been in class since six am. She refused to take her pack lunch from me. Then before ten after several warnings, she was put into medication. " I said and stared to laugh.
"Calvin, may I ask you a question?" Raven asked me.
"Yes of course. I know she is only in her sixteenth year; has she got her wolf yet?"
"No I asked her and Celestia at lunch yesterday. Before you ask I take a small group of them to lunch before they start so I can get to know them better without their parents. They are more relaxed and talk about themselves better."
"Ok, second question have you had physical contact with Ella?" Raven asked
"Excuse me, Raven what are you asking exactly?" I asked.
"Sorry let me re phrase that. Have you touched her hand, arm anything link that. I was not implying...." Raven said I cut her off the night they arrived I was talking to her parents she did not know who I was and got mouthy. I grabbed her arm to stop her so I could reprimand her. Instead, I said good night Ella, right to bed." I have not been the same since." I told her. We had a lengthy decision about Ella.
"Congratulations Calvin, even if you have to wait until she is in her eighteenth year." Raven said.
"lots of cold showers in your future Titan said. I heard Raven stifled a yawn.
"I have work to get done I will call later Titan.
Have a good sleep Raven." I said and hung up.
I wondered why Raven was so tired, the time difference was not much maybe she had a late night with their son.
I got another link from Carrie just after lunch.
"Alpha, I just want you to know that Ella is refusing to meditate. We took her in her lunch and she didn't eat it. I just check on her and Alpha she has a phone. She didn't see me do a second look and she pulled it out of her habit." Carrie said.
"I will be right there." I told her and closed the link. If she had a phone so did Celestia. Why were they not check for phones when they got here." I got up from my desk to walk down to building D.
"Where are you going?" Eric asked.
"This is going to be good, come with me." I said.
"Ok, but where are we going?" He asked falling in beside me.
"School!" I said. He tried not to laugh. I looked at him.
First I went to the classroom; the door was open I just stood there and watched. When Carrie saw me she bowed her head Alpha the rest of the class did the same.
"Celestia could I see you in the hallway please?" I asked. She got up slowly and came out into the hall. I closed the classroom door. Celestia stood before me with her head down.
"I'm going to only ask you once, Celestia.
Where is your phone?" I asked her face turned red with anger.
"I told Ella not to bring it to school. Mine is at home Alpha." Celestia said.
"Thank you, you may return to class. When you get home I will have already collected your phone." I told her. She went back to her desk and sat with her arms crossed.
"Carrie please!" I said.
"Read quietly chapters three and four. I will ask questions about them when I get back." Carrie told the class. I saw Celestia open her textbook and start to read. As we walked down the hall to the meditation room. Carrie open the door. Ella sat there her arms crossed. She was taking ten minutes of meditation to a whole new level of defiance.
Carrie closed the door and pretended to walk away. I gave her a couple of minutes, then opened the door catching her with her phone. I went and took it from her and gave it to Eric.
"Go to Celestia's home and collect her phone. Carrie you can go back to the class now. Ella you will come with me please." I said firmly.
"Why can't I go back to class?" Ella asked.
"You are done for today pick up you sack lunch. Carrie send her work she missed home with Celestia. Please." I asked.
Eric and Carrie left and I stood waiting for Ella who was not getting up.
"Now, Ella." I said. She got up and grabbed her sack lunch.
"Follow me." I told her. I didn't speak another word to her. When we got out of the school I headed for the pack house.
"Wait where are we going?" She asked.
"Follow" I told her. She had to speed up her walking to catch up to me. When we entered
The pack house the young one spotted me.
"Alpha can you play with us?"
"Alpha will you read to us.?"
"Not right now children I have some important work to do, after dinner I will read you a story." I told them. One of the girls looked at Ella then at me.
"She is going to the principal office, Alpha?" I nodded my head. The children giggled and went back to playing. After you Ella you know the way to my office. Eric came in and we walked behind Ella up the stairs. We went into my office I told Ella to sit on the couch. Eric handed me the phones. I gave them back to him.
"Burn them." I said.
"No, please my phone has pictures of back home of my cousins and of me with Luna Raven please, please don't burn it." She begged.
