Chapter 146 146
Alpha Calvin led us down the stairs and walked between us as we went down the street to the coffee shop.
"Excuse me Alpha, do you always take students for coffee?" I asked sarcastically.
"Actually yes I do especially when they first arrive so I can get to know them better and them me." He said smiling and opening the door for us. He pointed to a table Celestia took one side and I took the other then went to get up and sit on her side of the booth but was not fast enough. Alpha slide in beside me.
"You can have anything you want to eat and drink from the menu on the wall." Alpha told us. I looked at Celestia she was smiling and looking at the menu.
"Thank you Alpha, that is kind of you. Celestia said.
"Ella what would you like?" Alpha asked me.
"Coffee black, please." I said. Putting my head down so he could not see my face.
Celestia linked me.
"What is your problem Ella,?"
"I will tell you later, I don't want to be here, but I have no choice."
"Did something happen?"
"I can't tell you right now." I said and closed the link.
Alpha looked at Celestia and then at me and chuckled. They brought our coffee and the food Celestia and Alpha ordered. My stomach grumbled. It could wait until I got home. Alpha called over the server and whispered something to her. She left then came back with an empty plate. Alpha cut his burger in half the divided up his fries. When he was done he pit the plate in front of me and told me to eat. I folded my arms over my chest I turned away from him.
"Ella I would suggest you start eating, I'm not afraid to sit here and feed you in front of everyone in here." He said. My eyes went huge.
"You would not dare?" I asked him.
"Do you want to test me?" He asked. I started to eat. After a few minutes of silence he turned to Celestia you did not go for a walk with Ella last night?" He asked her. I choaked on my food. He reach over and patted my back.
"Take a drink Ella and slow down we can get more." He said smiling. He know that was not why I choaked on my food.
"Ella you went for a walk without me." Celestia asked hurt.
"It was just a short walk while a drank my coffee" I told her.
"Well not that short you found the lake and the beach." Alpha said smiling. What was he trying to do ugh. I wanted to crawl under the table.
"We, have a lake and a beach?" Celestia asked. I kept my head down.
"Yes, you are permitted to walk the beach and the boardwalk. You are not permitted to go swimming yet. But soon." Alpha told her.
"Did you hurt yourself badly when you walked into the garbage can, Ella?" He asked.
He knew it was me. I turned a million shades of red.
"I'm sorry I disturbed you and your girlfriends last night." I said. He roared with laughter everyone looked at us.
"Those are people I went to school with; they are your teachers; we were talking about you and about the new curriculum." He told me.
"Why were you talking about me?" I asked shocked.
"They were taking bets on how long it will take you the first day to be put into the meditation room." He chuckled.
"What did I do?" I asked not amused.
"Your attitude for one, we do not shave heads, and we are not monks you were these habits for a reason as you will find out, " he said with a smile. Celestia was staring at me.
"Ella, you and I need to really talk." She said then took another bit if her burger.
"Why are we not allowed money?" I asked him now I was angry.
"What do you need money for, Ella?" He asked sitting back looking at me.
"What if I want to come here with Celestia we have to pay." I told him.
"What are you wearing, Ella?" He asked.
"A stupid habit and shoes with a sash." I said.
"I hope you have on under clothing," he snickered before he continued. All student who are wearing their proper cloths do not pay for anything in any of the shops on the pack land that your allowed to go in." He said.
"What shops can't we go in?" Celestia asked.
"Hair salons, nail salons, makeup stores most clothing stores." He said grinning. I wanted to slap him. I had no idea why he was making me so mad. He was just telling us what we had already read about the shops or I did, I had no idea if Celestia had got that far. Someone came over and talked to Alpha in a link. Then left. Come ladies I have something I must attend to. We got up and walked out. I noticed Alpha had left a bunch of money on the table.
"I have one question for you both. Have with of you got your wolves yet?" He asked.
We both told him no. He nodded. When we got to Celestia's home he knocked on the door her mother came to the door.
"Celestia and Ella thank you for an enjoyable time it was nice getting to know you both better. Good luck on you first day " he said and turned and left. We both just stood there. He went about twenty feet then stopped and looked at me then bowed. He then continued to wherever he was going. .
"My room now Ella," Celestia demanded.
When she came upstairs she had two sodas. She passed me one then sat on her bed.
"Spill it, what the hell was that all about?" She demanded.
"I have no idea," I said.
"When you went home did you go for a walk?" She asked. So, I sat and told her what happened.
"What about your attitude?" She asked.
"I gave Beta Eric a hard time the day we got our stupid clothes. I told her.
"I did too, but why did he just bring up you?" She asked.
"When you find out you tell me," I said.
"You know these restrictions are stupid?" I said.
"Come on Ella, it is not that bad we are going to learn a lot of things. Hey, we get free stuff from the stores." She said.
"Only the ones we can go into, why do we have to all have our hair the same and no make up. I can never get my nails done." I complained.
"If you would stop biting them they would grow better." Celestia said.
"I can't help it when I get nervous I bit them at least not as bad as I have seen other. But never mind me. I think Alpha is a creeper." I told her. She laughed at me. He is not how did you even come to that idea.?" She asked.
