"Yes, that is my plan. I don't need that anymore, go have fun. Have a drink for me. I'm going down to walk on the beach." I said and walked away leaving him standing there with his mouth open. I was smiling to myself thinking of Ella. As I walked along the beach listening to the waves come in and out. I thought about me touching just her arm had changed me to a different man. I was lost in my thoughts and did not hear Carrie calling to me until she was almost in front of me.
"Alpha Calvin, it is not usual for you to be down here on a Saturday night, not going to the club?" She asked.
"Decided to have a walk on the beach instead, what are you doing out here.?" I asked.
"Collin, Greta and Lori are just over there by the fire, care to join us for a beer or two?" She asked.
"That sounds like a great idea, and you can tell me what you thought of the new student's today." I said. Then followed her to the fire pit. Greta and Lori moved so I could sit between them. We had all grown up together except Collin he had wondered into our pack one day and it was not long before he found out Carrie was his mate. We sat drinking beer and Carrie told me the same things about the new students as Eric had.
I took a drink of my beer to hide my smile about Ella.
"There is always one or two that take longer to adjust, I’m sure they will in time." I told Carrie.
"I bet you she will be in medication before the first day is over." Carrie said.
"More than likely with her attitude I'm sure." I said. We started talking about other pack stuff it was nice sitting with friend instead of hearing the loud music. I had no idea that we were being watched, until there was a loud crash of the garbage can. Using my wolf night vision, I saw it was Ella. I chucked to myself.
"Carrie m, is it not almost curfew?" I asked making sure Ella could hear my voice.
"Yes, why? who was that?" She asked.
"No idea, was think of the kids in the water." I said.
"Should I send Collin to tell them?" Carrie asked.
"No, I will remind them I have work to finish if you all want paid tomorrow. Thank you for the beers and great conversation." I said standing up. Carrie stood up when I did and I gave her a hug then ruffed her hair. Behave cousin I told her. She rubbed her little baby bump. Damage is already done Calvin." she laughed.
I walked past the kids in the water and yelled curfew. They all started coming out the water saying going Alpha, night Alpha, thank you Alpha. I smiled and went and had a shower then laid in bed thinking of Ella.
ELLA'S POV
I made a coffee and put it into a travel mug. Then went to find my dad. He was sitting outside talking to someone I did not know. I stood waiting for him to finish talking.
"Ella, what can I do for you?" he asked.
"Dad, what time is curfew? and can I go for a walk?" I asked him.
"Ella, I don't know what time curfew is for you." Dad said.
"How old are you?" the man talking to dad asked.
"Sixteen year" I told him.
"Your curfew is eleven pm in the house. You are allowed to explore the pack; it is encouraged so you get to meet you pack mates." He said. I looked at my father.
"Be back by the time your coffee is finished you still have reading to do." Dad said.
"Thank you, dad." I said kissing his cheek walking down the path checking out everything. I overheard some kids say they wanted to go down to the beach. So, I followed behind them. They took no notice of me which I was thankful for. Tonight, I just wanted to look around. They took off down to the water and I walk further down the path at the top of the beach. I was just about to turn around when I heard people start to laugh I looked out onto the beach to see a bonfire. I focused my wolf eyes and was shocked to see Alpha Calvin sitting with his arms round two women and there was another man and woman. I turned to leave and banged into the garbage can making a lot of noise. I ran back to our cabin as fast as I could. I rinsed out my travel mug and went to bed. Why was I so mad. I need to make sure I stayed clear of Alpha Calvin. I totally forgot to call Luna Raven.
The next morning after we ate breakfast and I cleaned up everything for mom, I asked if I could go see Celestia. I had my booklet in my hand. I told mom I wanted to go over everything with Celestia.
"You can go but you better be studying that booklet and getting to know what is expected of you here. I know you don't like the clothes but all the ones with special abilities are wearing them you have to get use to it our ancestors gifted you with these abilities. I know I don't say it enough but I'm proud of who you are. No go before I change my mind." Mom said.
I ran out the door mom yelling at me to walk.
I could hear dad asking where I was going. As I went out the door. I guess the habitats were not two bad I wore my work out clothes underneath it. As I walked the short distance to Celestia's cabin. Who did i run into none other then Alpha Calvin.
"Good morning Ella" he said. How did you sleep last night?" He asked. Just fine thank you Alpha Calvin" I told him.
“Are you going to Celestia's cabin?" He asked. I nodded
"I will come with you and the three of us can go to the cafe for coffee." He said. I went a head of me and knock on their door. Celestia's mom answered the door.
"Good morning Lisa, may I collect Celestia to go for coffer with Ella and myself. " he asked.
"Of course Alpha Calvin, let me get her." Celestia's mom said. Great I did not want to go anywhere with him especially after last night. But I said nothing just stood there.
"Hi Ella, Alpha Calvin. Mom said you wanted to take us for coffee?" Celestia said.
"If you would like to go Celestia, I'm sure Ella would want you to join us." He said to her. How did she get a choice and I didn't.
"I would like that Alpha," Celestia told him.
"I will have them back in two- or three-hours Lisa." Alpha Calvin told her. I swallow the lump in my throat. Two or three hours? I thought.
