Chapter 102 102
"What is this about, Titan?" I asked. He took the envelope out of his pocket and handed it to me. I read it and then put it back in the envelope and passed it back.
"Did you take care of the driver and the gunmen?" I asked.
"Driver is in the dungeon, gunmen what was left if them were taken away from the pack and burned the driver is human." Titan said with out any emotions.
"Did you call Tod?" I asked.
"Lance is on it." He said. Dammit I need to come clean with him. Before someone starts pointing fingers at me.
"Let's get some coffee to go I need to talk to you in private." I told him.
"Ok, you know you can tell me anything I have always trusted you. You have never lied to me and always had my back." Titan said waving over the waitress.
"Two large black coffees to go here keep the change." He said handing her a fifty-dollar bill.
"Right away and thank you." She said hurrying off to get the coffee. We took our coffee and went outside.
Let's go for a walk on the trail, it is a nice day" I said. We walked for about ten minutes not saying anything. I was trying to find the words.
" there is a bench up ahead let's sit down and you can tell me what is bothering you so much." Titan said. We sat down on the bench, and I stared at my cup of coffee.
"Titan there are two parts to this story. I hoe you can listen to me completely with out passing Judgement until the end." I said.
"This sounds serious, I can't promise anything, but I will listen." Titan said.
"Have you ever noticed anything about Spencer that is oddly familiar?" I asked.
"Not of hand, but then again he disappears when I come around." Titan said.
"Ah, yes that is true, he is not a fan of yours that is probably my fault " I said.
"Why is that?" Titan asked me confused.
"Just promise me if you kill me you make it quick," I said. Titan laughed.
"Nothing can be that bad Garrison." He said relaxing on the bench.
About twenty years ago a woman crossed over my boarders she was sick and near death. I nursed her back to heath and during that time we realized we were mates. Her name was Yelena she was so beautiful and sweet. We had our mating ceremony as soon as we could. She was the perfect Luna the pack loved her. After our first year she told me she was pregnant with Spencer. We were both so happy. During the last month of her pregnancy, she got a sever lung infection the doctors did everything but by the time Spencer was two she had passed away. I knew who she was when she cane over our borders, but everyone said it was impossible that you had all been killed.
"Wait, your mate was a Sky Fire Child?" Titan asked.
"Yes." I told him. I waited but he said nothing, so I continued.
"It was not until she had been gone three years that we met and you saved my life. When I realized everything I kept saying I would tell you but the longer we knew each other, the more I just pushed it to the back of my mind. I should have told you I'm sorry." I said.
"She was your true mate?" Titan asked.
"Yes, and I worshiped the ground she walked on." I said.
"I'm sorry for your loss, Garrison and for ours. But tell me what has happened that you needed to tell me this now?" Titan asked.
"Titan when your pack was attacked my father refused to have anything to do with it he made a lot of enemies for it." I said. I could see Thunder coming forward He figured it out. I would not fight back.
"All this time you have known who is responsible for the attack on my pack who killed over half my people, and you said nothing. Why? Why would you not tell me are you in on this too? What a fool I was thinking you were a real friend when behind my back you have been planning to repeat history. I should just kill you right here and now but there it will be much more satisfying killing you on the battlefield. You poisoned your sons mind against his own people. I'm done with you Garrison step foot on my land and I will consider it an act if war. " Titan yelled then threw his coffee cup in the bin and started to leave but stopped and turned back.
"They threatened you, that is why you came to tell me this. Sorry Garrison you get no get out of jail free card you had fifteen years to tell me this. I confined in you everything about my life. Did you all have a good laugh. Your a spinless coward." He said then walked away.
I sat there and cried. The only man I could ever trust, who was a true friend. I had with held the truth from him for to long. I threw my coffee in the bin and walked back to my car a broken man. I wish he had killed me. I would not join them; I will not be apart of any massacre. I pulled out my phone and called tod.
"Where you at Garrison?" Tod asked when he answered.
"Just pulling into my pack." I told him.
"We have a bird in the sky so don't try running." Tod said.
"I pulled up in front of the pack house and got out of the car. They cuffed me. I told my warriors to stand down.
"We are taking you in for questioning." Tod said and then waited for the helicopter to land. Tod shoved me in, then jumped in telling the pilot to go. I just hung my head.
I was ready to die. Forgive me Yelena.
TITAN'S POV
I had no idea where I was going. I pulled over and pulled out my phone and called Raven.
"Titan?" Raven said I could hear fear in her voice.
"Hi, love. I will be home soon." I told her.
"Titan, there are men here, a detective Sands and a detective Ted." She said scared.
"Don't you mean Tod?" I asked.
"No he was here he went to get Garrison and arrest him." She told me. I could hear someone talking to her.
"Luna give me the phone please" he said. Raven started to cry.
"Hello, Titan, detective Ted here. Where are you?" He asked.
"Hell if I know, I got some bad news and was just driving in circles. I will be there soon. What is going on?" I asked.
"We will explain when you get here Alpha Titan, do we need someone to come and help you?" He asked.
"No, stop scaring my mate. She is blind." I yelled.
"Sorry Alpha that was not our Intention. She is in protective custody right now." He said.
