Chapter 57

Olivia.

I heaved out a sharp breath for the tenth time if not more as we went around the plantation. A coffee plantation for that matter. Father had been focused on the explanation Mr. Karen was giving him. Let me tell you how we ended up in the place.

First, our sleep was deprived from us. We were suddenly been called out by father to gather around for a morning coffee. I didn't even get time to prepare myself. I only took a shower and wore a normal outfit.

From drinking coffee at early morning, with sleep still dripping in our eyes, to finding ourselves having a tour of a coffee plantation. All the idea came from father and then Mr. Karen who appeared out of the blue and told father he knows the best coffee plantation in Costa Rica.

Second, father was actually planning on starting a coffee business just by seeing how coffee was made and all. Should that bother me? No. But it did. Because we literally spent more than three hours in one place.

"I don't think father is going to leave this plantation today." I said as we three ladies walked towards a bench and crashed. We had left the men to deal with their father. They were also not enjoying the trip. Logan even initiated to flee from there but he didn't get the chance.

Sarah heaved out a sharp breath beside me. "I know right. All this is happening because of Mr. Karen. We are supposed to go to the beach today." Sarah hissed, raking her hands through her hair in frustration. I hissed out too.

"There's still time you know. At least we got to escape from them. Just give it some time, and you will see the men hot on their tails too." Amelia chirped in. We both heaved out a sharp breath at the same time, looking up to the sky.

"By the way Olivia, did you and Logan had a fight last night?" Amelia broke the silence.

"What fight?" I asked, turning to face her.

"You know I heard this sound through the walls of our room, like Logan was..."

"Damn! Amelia, just get straight to the point. That you heard their moans through the walls of your room." I literally face-palmed myself in embarrassment as their words settled in.

"You guys are..." I trailed off, searching for the right word to fill the gap.

Sarah nudged me. "What's there to be shy about? Isn't that our second plan? To go wild with them. Last night was indeed a steamy one." The way Sarah was blushing raised curiosity in me.

"Don't tell me you guys also.."

"Yes. Thank God Molly is a heavy sleeper. It wouldn't have turned out well. I didn't know Bernard had gotten more naughty than before." I didn't miss the blush that crept up her cheeks. That means last night was all wild for us.

"What about you, Amelia? You aren't saying anything." She threw me a glare in return.

"I didn't get to go all wild with him. It stopped on a kiss only. Quinn was there, you know." Amelia uttered, her tone bitter.

"Oh no. You guys could've waited until she had gone to sleep." Sarah chirped in. Amelia rolled her eyes in return.

"The urge to throw Quinn out of the room last night. I don't know why she didn't sleep early. We had tried reading her a bedtime story but to no avail. You guys should anticipate my own wildness. I will make sure our moans echo through the whole building." Sarah and I burst out with laughter at her remark.

"We won't mind." I said. Just then, we spotted Logan and Bernard walking their way towards us.

"You see. I told you the guys will run for their lives." Amelia giggled.

"Why are you guys here?" she charged, rising up to a standing position.

"That Mr. Karen wants to kill father. He kept on showing him places. Now father doesn't want to leave. He's even planning on signing a deal with the manufacturer." Bernard hissed. He was clearly pissed. The news should have came as a surprise to me, but I expected that and more. With the way Mr. Karen was acting, I was sure he'd lure father in. After all, father is a man for business.

I rose up to my feet and linked my arm with Logan's. "Why getting worked up? It's for the best, right? If father signs the deal, he'd get a lot of money, right?" Logan rolled his eyes in return while Bernard cast his look towards the other side.

I exchanged glances with Amelia and Sarah. "Wait... I thought you guys are father's puppets? What has changed?" I asked, holding in my laughter.

Logan jerked his arms from my hold and threw me a glare. "Puppet? That was then."

"We have our freedom now," Bernard chirped in. The urge to do a little dance at their confession grew in me. That means our plan had worked. I signaled Amelia to put in her word.

"Come on, Bernard, stop sulking. Allow father to do what he wants. He's a businessman after all."

"You're right. Let's just enjoy our trip. I'm actually enjoying the stay here. At least it has taken my mind off a lot of things." I didn't miss the look he cast at his wife. Naughty couples.

"I think we should head back to the hotel. Father and Scott will meet us there." Logan suggested. We all nodded in agreement.

"But wait... what about Liam and Collins?" I haven't seen them since the first hour we started the tour.

Logan and Bernard shared a look. "Obviously they escaped."

Great. Poor the two bachelors.

We headed back to the hotel and went straight to our rooms. I crashed on the bed and heaved out a sharp breath. "I can't believe father's leadership came out strong today. He was literally in charge." I said.

Logan was standing in front of the wardrobe taking out his clothes. "Who was the one who wanted him to be a leader? Now he's showing you guys the true definition of a leader. Maybe tomorrow he would wake us up in the middle of the night to visit a wine yard." Logan's tone held teasing.

"Well... I don't mind. After all, we'd all suffer together." I grinned. Logan turned to me with a glare. I shrugged in return.

"What are you doing, by the way? What's with taking out your clothes?" I asked, seeing that he had pulled out all the clothes from the wardrobe.

"I'm looking for the perfect outfit for today. Aren't you going to select yours?"

"Are we going anywhere apart from the beach?" I raised.

"I'm thinking about taking us out. You and me alone." He trekked his way towards the bed and sat in front of me. "I want to spoil my wife and our baby." My cheeks heated up at the way he said it seductively.

"You have been spoiling her a lot."

"I want to do more. I want to create unforgettable memories with her." He leaned forward and pressed a lingering kiss on my lips. I didn't allow him to pull away. I cupped his face, deepening the kiss. I could feel Logan's excitement through the kiss. As we pulled away, he rested his forehead on mine.

"You are always tempting me, Olivia," he whispered.

"I'm your temptation, you know. Your one and only wife, Olivia," I whispered back.

"If I don't love you, what will I gain?"

"Absolutely nothing. Because your life will be meaningless without me." I know how much effect I have on him, just as he has an effect on me.

"Absolutely nothing," he repeated.

"Now, massage me."

Logan pulled away and stared at me. I gestured to my legs. "Get to work. You won't be able to spoil me if I can't walk properly, right?"

His eyes squinted in return, along with a smile on his lips. "You are resorting to threats now, right?"

My eyes darted left to right. "Should that be considered a threat? I was just saying, you know. You do the massage, or no outing." I grinned.

Logan clenched his jaw. He had no other choice but to go by my books. "Alright. Poor Logan has no other option."

I rested my back in a more comfortable position while Logan massaged my feet. "Mm... This is good," I muffled out, closing my eyes.

"If you continue to make this sound, I might get turned on," Logan broke, snapping my eyes open.

"What a naughty boy. Can't I even moan in peace?" I retorted.

"Just know that I'm warning you. Don't end up putting yourself in trouble." I shook my head. I liked it when he was being all sweet and naughty, just like last night.

"Alright then. I won't make any sound. Go on," I gestured, resting my body down. He continued to massage my feet, and my body relaxed, enjoying the moment.

The sound of my phone ringing blared through the room. Who could be calling? I grabbed the phone, slid the accept button, and placed it to my ear without looking at the caller. "Hello—"

"Am I speaking to Olivia Reed?" An unfamiliar voice sounded from the other end, making me sit upright.

"Yes. How may I help you?" I asked.

"Your attention is needed at Happy Home Hospital. Your grandmother has collapsed."
