Chapter164 I am not a sex toy
Chloe
Julian carried me into the bedroom and set me down on the edge of the bed. The second my feet touched the floor, I turned to face him.
“Okay,” I said, crossing my arms. “Now that your phone is off and you’re not running off somewhere, you can tell me who Lena’s boyfriend is.”
Julian blinked, then let out a low laugh. “We just walked in here and that’s what’s on your mind?”
“It’s been on my mind since this afternoon,” I shot back. “You said it was someone I’d never expect. So? Is it Alex? Your cousin? Because that would actually make a weird kind of sense.”
He shook his head, still smiling as he loosened his tie. “Not Alex.”
“Then who?” I stepped closer, narrowing my eyes. “Julian, just tell me. You can’t drop something like that and expect me to forget about it.”
Julian reached out and tucked a strand of hair behind my ear, his gaze soft. The way he was looking at me—like I was the most entertaining thing he’d seen all day—only made me more determined.
Before he could dodge the question again, I decided to switch tactics.
“Actually,” I said, “I found out something else today. Marcus and Tiffany have been dating since our wedding announcement party six months ago. Secretly.”
Julian froze mid-motion, his tie half-undone. “What?”
“Yep.” I nodded, enjoying the rare sight of him genuinely caught off guard. “She told me on the phone. They’ve been sneaking around this whole time. Can you believe that?”
Julian stared at me for a beat, then let out a short, disbelieving laugh. He ran a hand through his hair, shaking his head.
“Marcus,” he muttered. “That explains it.”
“Explains what?”
He looked at me, still looking slightly dazed. “Marcus has been leaving the office on time for the past few months. No more late nights. He’s even taken actual vacation days—three of them. I thought he was sick or something was wrong with his family. Turns out he’s just been sneaking off with your best friend.”
I couldn’t help it—I started laughing. The image of serious, clipboard-carrying Marcus sneaking around with Tiffany was too funny.
Julian watched me laugh, and the corner of his mouth twitched upward. He stepped closer, hands settling on my waist.
“You’re enjoying this way too much,” he murmured.
“So are you,” I pointed out. “Admit it. You love office gossip as much as I do.”
He leaned down until his forehead rested against mine. “Only because you make it entertaining.”
We stood there for a moment, grinning at each other like idiots. It felt easy, warm—the kind of domestic moment I’d been missing lately.
Then Julian’s expression shifted, heat creeping back into his eyes.
“But you still almost made me ruin everything in my office today,” he said quietly. “You walked in wearing that coat, climbed into my lap, and for a minute I forgot every single reason I’ve been holding back. If I had slipped up and said something I shouldn’t have…”
His voice trailed off. I could feel the tension in his body—the careful control he was forcing on himself.
“So that’s why you’re still refusing to actually fuck me,” I said, blunt. “Because my little office seduction almost made you talk.”
Julian’s jaw flexed. “Exactly.”
I sighed, equal parts frustrated and resigned. “Fine. Then I guess I’ll just have to settle for my husband acting like a very expensive sex toy for the next few weeks.”
Julian went still. His eyes narrowed, a dangerous glint appearing in them.
“Chloe.”
“What?” I shrugged, keeping my tone light even though my heart was racing. “It’s true. You bring out the toys, you make sure I come, but you won’t actually—”
Before I could finish, he had me backed against the bed, one hand cupping my jaw.
“I am not a sex toy,” he said, voice low and rough. “And the only reason I’m doing this is because I refuse to let my plans fall apart because I couldn’t keep my mouth shut around you.”
I swallowed. “Then prove it.”
Julian exhaled slowly, then reached into the drawer beside the bed. When he pulled out the sleek black box, I knew he had already made up his mind.
He laid me back on the mattress and took his time undressing me, kissing every inch of skin he revealed. His touch was deliberate, controlled—every movement calculated to give me pleasure without risking his own restraint.
When he opened the box, the soft click of the lid sounded louder than it should have. Julian chose the smallest toy first, his fingers slick as he eased it inside me with agonizing patience.
I gasped at the slow stretch, my hands instinctively reaching for him. He caught both wrists in one hand and pinned them above my head.
“Stay still,” he murmured against my stomach. “If you move, I stop.”
The threat only made the heat between my legs sharper. He worked the toy in shallow thrusts, watching every twitch of my thighs, every shaky breath I took. When he leaned down and closed his mouth over my clit, the sudden wet heat made me cry out.
Julian didn’t rush. He licked and sucked in time with the toy’s steady rhythm, his free hand holding my hip down when I tried to rock against his face.
I could feel how hard he was through his pants, pressed against my leg, but he never moved to take anything for himself. Every time my moans grew louder, he would slow down, dragging me back from the edge until I was shaking and swearing under my breath.
“Julian,” I gasped, voice breaking. “Please.”
He lifted his head just enough to meet my eyes, his lips wet and flushed. “Not yet.”
He switched to a thicker toy, one that pressed deeper and curved perfectly against that sensitive spot inside me. The stretch burned in the best way.
Julian’s breathing had gone ragged, but his hands stayed steady. He thrust the toy in slow, deliberate strokes while his thumb circled my clit, watching my face like he was memorizing every reaction.
I was soaked, trembling, desperate for more than the toy could give. Every time I tried to pull my hands free to reach for his belt, he tightened his grip and pushed the toy deeper until I whimpered.
“You almost made me lose control today,” he said, voice rough. “I’m not giving you the chance to do it again tonight.”
When the orgasm finally hit, it was brutal. I came with a broken cry, back arching off the bed as the toy kept working inside me. Julian didn’t stop until I was shaking and oversensitive, only then easing it out and pressing soft kisses to my inner thighs.
He set everything aside and pulled me into his arms, holding me while I caught my breath.
“After you give birth,” he said, voice low and promising, “I’m throwing every single one of those things in the trash. And then I’m going to spend an entire week making sure you remember exactly who your husband is.”
I smiled against his shirt, even as exhaustion pulled at me.
“I’ll hold you to that.”
