Chapter 178 – Bonus – Party Time
Chapter 178 – Bonus – Party Time
Zander’s POV
I didn’t want to leave the bed at all. I could stay lost in Isabella for the rest of my life, stay in bed, and be happy forever.
“Can’t we just stay in bed?” I groaned in frustration.
“Are you kidding me?” Isabella said, giving me the ‘I can’t believe you said that look.’ “It’s our bachelor and bachelorette party!”
“Yeah, it’s probably not a good idea to miss it,” I chuckled.
Isabella was already up and dressed. “Get up, lazy butt, we’re already late,” she said, leaning over me and kissing my lips gently.
“If you keep doing that,” I smirked. “Something will be getting up, and we won’t be going anywhere.”
“Geesh,” Isabella giggled and rolled her eyes at me. “I’ll make you a deal. If you get up now and get ready in five minutes, after the party, I will ride your face.”
I was ready in four minutes, and we were out the door.
When we got to the main building and pushed the door open, the party was already in full swing.
“Well, well, well,” Salvatore chuckled. “They are alive.”
“Hi, Papa,” Isabella said, smiling, then walked past him.
Salvatore looked at me suspiciously.
“Sorry, Isabella was taking a nap,” I explained. I wanted to say with my cock between her legs, but I thought that was the quickest way to get a bullet in my head.
Amelie, as usual, was the hostess with the mostess. She had a buffet set up with party foods, a fully stocked bar, and had even moved some of the furniture to create a dance floor.
“Hey, munchkin,” Amelie said, wrapping her arms around me. “How is it my baby brother is late to his own party?”
“We got, um, sidetracked,” I grinned.
“No, no, no,” Amelie grimaced. “Don’t need to hear that. I know what that means.”
I laughed.
“What are we laughing about?” Nathan asked.
“Do not ask,” Amelie said, waving her hands in the air.
“Okkkk,” Nathan responded. “Where is that beautiful fiancée of yours?”
“I think she’s over with her mom,” I replied.
“So, are you ready to get married in 9 days?” Nathan grinned.
“I’d get married today if I could,” I said, smiling.
“Love is great, isn’t it?” Nathan stated.
“It is,” I agreed. “I just have the greatest example to go by. I never thought true love was possible until Amelie met you. It gave me hope. Then I saw Isabella across the room at your wedding. I hadn’t even seen her face, yet I was drawn to her. When she turned around, I knew she was mine. That she was made for me.”
Nathan smiled at me. “That is the best feeling in the world, isn’t it?” Nathan sighed.
“Question,” I asked.
“Sure, what do you want to know?” Nathan responded, taking a sip of his drink.
“Are you done having kids?” I laughed.
Nathan laughed, “Amelie said if I want more kids after the triplets, I have to figure out how to birth children out of my dick.”
I winced at the thought. “I don’t blame her,” I chuckled. “Eight kids?!?”
“10 kids total with Eliza and Logan. You’ll see,” Nathan told me. “Once Isabella has your children, you’ll want more. It’s like your heart is outside your body.”
I look over at Isabella. She’s wearing a pretty blue dress, and her hair is pulled back in a short ponytail. As if she realized I’m looking at her, her eyes flutter up in my direction. God, she makes my heart stop in my chest. Isabella’s face lights up with a smile, and my feet move of their own volition.
“Hi,” I grinned.
“Hi,” Isabella said, smiling.
“Do you like cake?” I smirked.
“Yes, I do,” Isabella replied.
“What’s your favorite kind of cake?” I asked.
“Chocolate,” Isabella giggled.
“Me too,” I said, acting surprised. “Care to join me for a piece?” I offer her my arm, which she takes.
“I thought you’d never ask,” Isabella said, fluttering her lashes.
“Do I have to ask your dad this time?” I mused.
Isabella patted her cute little baby bump. “I think it’s a little late for that,” Isabella giggled.
“Oops,” I shrugged.
Isabella let out a big laugh and then snorted.
“I can’t believe you even make a snort look cute,” I said, kissing her on the top of her head.
“Ok, everyone,” Amelie called. “Time for the not-so-newlywed game. I’d like to welcome our host, Dante Berkley.”
Everyone started cheering. Dante came up wearing a purple velvet suit, looking like a true 1970s game show host.
“Thank you, my future ex-wife,” Dante smirked.
“Twerkley,” Nathan yelled from the crowd.
Dante shot Nathan a big grin. “Now, I’d like to call up the three couples participating in tonight’s show. First, married for 23 glorious years of mafia life, Sal & Nina!”
“Woo, Papa & Mama!” Isabella screamed as her parents, totally shocked, made their way to a set of chairs set up on the dance floor.
“Next, coming in with 3 years of marriage and more kids than they can count, Amelie & Stock market!” Dante revealed.
Nathan eyed both Amelie and Dante as they made their way to the dance floor.
“Finally, married a total of negative nine days, and soon to enjoy wedded bliss, give it up for Isabella and Zander!” Dante announced.
“What?” I said, shocked.
“Oh gosh, this is going to be so much fun,” Isabella squealed.
I looked at Isabella, and she was absolutely buzzing with excitement. As much as I didn’t want to be embarrassed by a game show, how could I say no to her? I took her hand, and we walked over to where the game show was set up.
“Fantastic,” Dante said, acting like a consummate game show host. “If my lovely assistant, Ms. Kimmy Legs Stein, can escort the ladies to the den so we can ask the men some questions.”
Kimmy walked up in an over-the-top red sequin evening gown and did the famous game show hostess arm wave. She led the ladies into Nathan’s office and shut the door.
“Ok, men,” Dante said, holding humorously big cue cards. “Where is the weirdest place you ever had sex?”
I glanced at Salvatore as he eyed me up and crossed his arms. Shit. This can not be good.
