Chapter 174 – Bonus - I Need Cookies

Chapter 174 – Bonus - I Need Cookies
Isabella’s POV

Suzie and Trina showed up at 8:45 am the next morning. They had said they wanted to go shopping for outfits for the Hawaii trip and, honestly, I needed to get out of the apartment and have some much-needed girls' time.

“Are you excited about the wedding?” Suzie asked.

“Of course,” I grinned.

“I knew you and Zander would end up together,” Trina stated. “You guys are so adorable together.”

“I’m definitely thanking god that everything worked out, that’s for sure,” I giggled.

“So, how does it feel to be pregnant?” Suzie questioned. “Trina and I would love it if Niles got us both pregnant.”

Ok. I’ve been dying from curiosity about their relationship with Niles. “Do you both see a long-term relationship with Niles?” I asked.

Suzie laughed, “I knew that question was going to come up at some point.”

“We both love him,” Trina advised. “I’ve always thought monogamy wasn’t for me. I had talked to Suzie about it a lot when we were teenagers. We’d actually like to bring another person into the relationship as well.”

Really? Interesting, I thought to myself.

“We just don’t know how to approach him to ask,” Suzie told me.

“You have someone in mind?” I asked, surprised.

“Yes,” Suzie and Trina said in unison, looking at each other.

Ok, now I’m dying to know who it is! “Is it someone I know?” I asked, sheepishly.

“Yes,” Suzie answered. She looked at Trina, and both nodded. “You have to absolutely promise on Zander’s life you won’t say anything.”

“I promise,” I responded.

“We’d like Devo to join us,” Trina blushed.

“I need to sit down,” I breathed. “Devo?”

“What about Devo?” Zander said, walking into the living room.

“Oh, nothing,” I said, smiling. “We were just talking about your other groomsmen.”

Zander walked over and kissed the top of my head. “You guys can fight over who gets Niles and who gets Devo,” Zander said, looking at Suzie and Trina.

We all burst out in laughter.

“Ok,” Zander grinned. “I feel like I’m missing an inside joke. That’s my cue to leave. I’ll see you later, bunny.” Zander lifted my chin and kissed my lips gently. “The car service is downstairs for you ladies. I’m heading out to hang with Devo and Niles.”

“Have fun, Z,” I said, smiling.

“You too,” Zander grinned, picking up his keys and heading out the door.

“Well, let’s get this show on the road,” Suzie said, pulling me to my feet.

After an hour of shopping at one of the boutiques, Suzie and I piled back into the car. Trina stopped outside the vehicle and said something to the driver, who nodded. “Yes, ma’am,” he declared. Trina got into the vehicle.

“We just need to make a quick stop,” Trina announced.

We started driving, but it seemed like we were traveling away from the shopping area.

“Does he know where we are going?” I asked, puzzled. “Maybe he’s lost.”

“No, he’s going the right way,” Suzie advised.

“Ok, as long as he knows where he’s going,” I shrugged.

My phone chimed.

Zander: Having a good time?

Isabella: Yes, it’s always great to spend time with the girls. Are you having a good time with your bros?

Zander: Bros? lol. I’ve never heard you use that term.

Isabella: Hey, I’m cool too.

Zander: No, you’re not. You’re fucking hot. The hottest woman ever.

Isabella: Oh, really? You think so?

Zander: I don’t think so. I know so. I can’t wait to kiss every inch of that body.

Phew, it's getting hot in the car. Damn, pregnancy hormones.

Isabella: Stop it! You know how horny I am lately.

Zander: Well, maybe you should just look out your window and ogle the sexy man outside.

Isabella: You’re so funny.

Zander: No, I’m serious.

Isabella: What?

Zander: Look out the window, bunny.
The car pulled to a stop, and I looked out the window. There outside the window was Zander. God, he’s so handsome it hurts. Wait. Where are we? I tried to look around when Zander opened the door and offered his hand. I took it and got out of the car. The airfield? What the heck?

“Surprise!” Suzie squealed.

“What’s going on?” I questioned, perplexed.

“We need a bachelor and bachelorette party,” Zander smirked. “I thought what better place than Amelie Cay?”

“What?” I shrieked, jumping into his arms.

“I love you, bunny,” Zander said, kissing and hugging me.

Devo and Niles walked out of the plane hangar. “Hey, Bella,” Niles grinned.

“Well, let’s get this show on the road,” Zander stated as he grabbed my hand and led me to the jet.

“I can’t believe that you pulled this off,” I said, smiling.

“I can’t either,” Zander chuckled. “All you Aventini women are so nosy.”

“Excuse me?” I scoffed.

“In a good way,” Zander grinned. “You, Nina, and Nonna. All three of you are so hard to keep secrets from.”

“Oh, so what you’re actually saying is we are brilliant, resourceful women,” I giggled.

“If that’s what you want to call it,” Zander laughed.

“Watch yourself, mister,” I snickered.

“I’d much rather watch you, my beautiful, sexy fiancée,” Zander whispered behind me as we climbed the stairs of the jet.

“Why did Nathan send the big jet?” I asked.

Zander shrugged. I entered the jet and turned to head into the cabin.

“Surprise!” Everyone shouted.

“Wait, what?” I said, covering my face. The plane was full. My family, Zander’s family, and friends smiled back at me. I started bawling my eyes out. Mama got out of her seat and raced to me.

“Mia Bella,” Mama said, panicked. “What’s wrong?”

“I’m so happy!” I sobbed.

“Pregnancy hormones,” Zander said from behind me.

“Shh, you,” Mama said, embracing me in a hug. “You need your Mama right now.” She led me down the aisles.

“I need cookies,” I joked.

“That’s why you need your Mama,” Mama said, retrieving a bag of Lucia's famous cookies.

I smiled at her. No matter how old I get, I’ll always need my Mama.
