Chapter 365 To Save Your Life

Chapter 368 Personally Going Abroad

Just as she walked out of the detention center, a light drizzle began to fall outside.

Naomi looked up at the sky, her emotions incredibly mixed.

Her top priority now was to get the cell regeneration chamber and immediately treat Lloyd. Her secondary task? Of course, to rescue Everett.

But Everett thought his daughter was right by his side - how would he leave with Jonathan's people?

Naomi believed that as long as Jonathan gathered enough men, rescuing Everett wouldn't be a problem. The key was whether Everett would be willing to leave with Jonathan, and whether he would trust Jonathan.

After all, among the known witch doctors still alive, there were only three people. Lloyd was unconscious, Naomi was under tight protection, and Everett was probably being watched by quite a few people too. He must be extremely cautious.

Naomi closed her eyes, breathing in the scent of rain, feeling increasingly anxious.

"Naomi." Jonathan's voice rang out, and only then did Naomi open her eyes.

Jonathan walked up to her with an umbrella. "Why didn't you tell me?"

"I was afraid you were busy." Naomi took his arm, and the two of them walked step by step toward the parking lot.

"Austin says Everett's location should be the Harpers family's factory. Everett's health is poor now, so he must be in a sterile chamber. I already know where the sterile chamber is."

"My people will be in position soon." Jonathan checked the time. "You go stabilize Mr. Wallace's condition first, then contact Xander around midnight to confirm the rescue plan. There's no time to waste."

"Still no news about Grace?" Naomi asked nervously.

"They switched boats midway. My people are tracking them." Jonathan's voice was somewhat heavy, and Naomi's heart sank with it.

Vivian seemed harmless, even very gentle.

But everything she did was especially ruthless. Naomi didn't dare think about what would happen to Grace if Vivian really took her away.

Naomi checked her phone again - still no messages. She felt even more panicked.

Jonathan opened the car door and settled her into the passenger seat. "I've had people buy up large amounts of stock in the Harpers family's various companies. Vivian can't be in two places at once right now, so she has no time to deal with you. Grace is her only bargaining chip - she won't dare do anything to Grace."

Naomi looked at him in surprise. "You're going to acquire the Harpers family's companies?"

"If possible, acquisition is fine too. We have plenty of funds." Jonathan walked around to the driver's seat. "She's been in power for so many years - she won't be willing to let people buy up the stock. She must be raising funds right now, and that's our opportunity."

Hearing this, Naomi finally breathed a sigh of relief. She checked the time again. "Then let's go to the hospital first. Please arrange the nearest flight for me - I need to go to Valensia myself."

Jonathan was about to object when he heard her say, "There might be a fake daughter by my father's side now. If I don't appear, he won't trust anyone. I'll just meet with him once, within half an hour. If I can't convince him, I'll withdraw immediately. Have your people follow me the whole time, okay?"

Seeing Naomi's determined eyes, Jonathan finally compromised.

"Okay, but I'm going with you."

"Don't refuse. Unless I'm by your side, I won't feel at ease no matter who's with you. If you refuse, I won't let you leave."

He blocked all of Naomi's words in her throat. In the end, Naomi could only nod in agreement.

When they returned to the hospital, Francis was using the cell regeneration chamber to help Lloyd recover.

He sat in his wheelchair, loudly scolding his lab staff.

"Didn't I say the frequency should be low? What's the low frequency range - don't you know?"

"Are you trying to kill Mr. Wallace? Why is the temperature controlled so high? You might as well inject air directly into his heart - he'd die faster!"

"Why is the voltage unstable? Didn't I say to use a generator?"

"Ms. Kennedy!"

When they saw Naomi come in, everyone looked at her like she was their savior.

Francis snorted. "So what if Ms. Kennedy is here? Look at how stupid you all are!"

He scolded them a few more times before standing up and walking toward Naomi. "The situation is still looking good. There's no time for improvements, but at least we can delay another 48 hours. I'm giving you three more days - can you get a new cell regeneration chamber?"

Naomi looked at Lloyd in the cell regeneration chamber and nodded hard. "I definitely can. I swear."

She turned and left immediately.

When she reached the door, Gabriel quickly caught up. "Ms. Kennedy, Mr. Cavendish has already told me about your plan."

Gabriel pointed to several people behind him. "General Scott said you are Avalonia's treasure, a very precious witch doctor, and asked us to protect you."

"Don't worry, I'll risk my life to bring you back safely."

Naomi opened her mouth, and seeing Gabriel nod at her, she finally let out a long breath. "Alright then, you all listen to me."

"Yes!" Gabriel and the people behind him immediately stood at attention.

Naomi said calmly, "First rule: ensure your own safety. Everyone comes back alive."

She knew this trip abroad wouldn't be simple. She had to make sure all these people returned safely.

Even if they couldn't bring back Everett, she couldn't let others die because of her.

With Larry's help, Jonathan's private plane took off smoothly. What would normally take over twenty hours to reach Valensia would only take them ten hours.

And during these ten hours, no one rested. They continuously studied the upcoming rescue.

Naomi also contacted Xander again on the plane to confirm the rescue time.

"In five hours, my people will surround the villa first. We'll need your people to assist from inside."

"To avoid bringing in the police, it's best not to use guns, and we need to shut down all the alarm systems in the estate."

Naomi's voice was especially steady. "As long as you cooperate, we can get you out within an hour. I trust you have a way to use a private plane. You'll need to go to the factory to support us then."

Jonathan's private plane couldn't keep flying abroad continuously - they had to rely on the Harpers family's help.

Xander didn't expect her to move so fast, but he only hesitated for a few seconds before immediately saying, "Okay, my people can be in position right away. Give me a little time."

"Also, you need to stop Vivian. If she comes back, a lot of things won't work out."

Naomi glanced at Jonathan, and seeing him nod, she said, "Don't worry, we'll control Vivian. This time it must go perfectly."

"Naomi, then I'll wait for you to rescue me." Xander's voice finally had a hint of laughter. "My private plane has a treatment chamber. We can take the cell regeneration chamber directly. Once I'm rescued, you'll have two hours to rescue Everett."

Xander paused, his tone quite helpless. "He's a stubborn man. If you can't persuade him, he won't be willing to go with you."

"You don't need to worry about that. He'll come with me." Naomi's tone was especially certain. This time, no matter what, she would rescue Everett.
