We are on our way to the restaurant; If we can close this deal, it will be a big win for us and could open doors to new business opportunities in Dubai. As soon as I arrive at the restaurant, I am greeted with great pomp and luxury. The atmosphere is sophisticated, with elegant decorations and a stunning view of the city. I feel a little nervous, but confident that I can make a good impression. The Sheikh arrives shortly afterwards, accompanied by his advisors. He is an imposing and rich man, with a warm smile and a curious look. I greet you with respect and cordiality; we are led to our table.
"Very nice to meet you, Mr Ahmad. Thank you for welcoming me to your country."
"Likewise, Mr. Fiore. Its reputation is well known here in Dubai; I heard great things about your company," he says, shaking my hand.
"I'm glad to hear this. We have a competent and experienced team in financial consultancy and investments. During dinner, we talked about business and my company."
The Sheikh shows a strong interest in our services and appears to be impressed with our reputation and experience in the financial market.
"I am interested in your services. I can tell you that I'm looking for financial consultancy that can help me expand my business," he says, picking up his glass.
"I'm glad you're interested. We have a project that perfectly fits your needs," I say showing him a folder with documents.
"Oh yes? Tell me more about this project," he says, opening the folder and looking at the documents carefully.
"This project is an investment proposal in an emerging sector in the Dubai market, which has great potential for growth and profitability," I explain the details of the project.
"That sounds very interesting. What are the advantages of this investment?" he asks nodding his head.
"The advantages are many. This investment offers high profitability, a low risk rate, good portfolio diversification and an opportunity to contribute to the social and environmental development of Dubai," I respond with a smile.
"You convinced me, Mr. Fiore. I want to be part of this project," he says, raising his glass.
"I am very happy to hear that, Mr Ahmad. A toast to our success!" I say, raising my glass and touching his.
"A toast!" he says smiling.
"I'm glad to hear that, Mr Ahmad. We work hard to maintain our reputation and ensure customer satisfaction."
"I would like your company to take care of not only my business finances, but also my personal ones," as soon as he says it, I feel immense joy. I would never have expected him to tell me that.
"I trust your team to help me make the best investment decisions and increase my profits."
"It will be a pleasure to work with you, Mr Ahmad. I'm sure we can close a good deal together and we will carefully plan special plans for you," I say and he smiles.
Mr. Ahmad seems to be very interested in closing the contract. My cell phone vibrates in my pocket, and I see a call from Kim. I ignore her, thinking about calling her back as soon as I get out of here.
"You can answer, Mr. Fiore. It could be important," he says, indicating the cell phone in my hand ringing again.
"Excuse me, Mr. Ahmad," I say, getting up and going to the balcony to answer.
"Hi, Kim. What happened?"
"Dan Dan, Lunna's grandmother passed away," as soon as she says it, my heart races with anguish.
"What? This cannot be true."
"Lunna left Boston in despair. She went to Nicaragua, and..."
"I am going. I won't be able to get there in time, but I'll try," I say going to the table, picking up my coat that was on the chair and covering the cell phone's microphone. "Forgive me, Mr. Ahmad, but I urgently need to return to Boston. Forgive me for having to rush out in a hurry."
"I understand, Mr. Fiore. I hope everything is fine," he says, looking at me with surprise and compassion.
"Thank you for your understanding, Mr Ahmad. I will contact you as soon as possible," I say swallowing hard and leaving the restaurant.
"Of course, Mr. Fiore. We will schedule another meeting when you are calm. I hope everything gets sorted out," he says, standing up and greeting me warmly.
I turn away anxiously and run out of the restaurant. I run to the car and hastily ask the driver to take me to my private jet.
"Kim, I'm coming," I say.
"It's okay, little brother. But I'll give you news," she says, and I say goodbye, immediately calling my pilot and letting him know that we're going to Nicaragua.
"Thank you for your understanding, Mr. Ahmad," I say before hanging up the phone.
"Stay calm, little brother. Everything will be fine," she says, trying to calm me down.
"We'll be there soon, Mr. Fiore," the pilot says over the radio.

"It's a few hours before we arrive and I receive a worrying message from Kim, saying that they are going to Niagara Falls. I nervously pick up the phone and speak to my commander."
"Hugo, let’s go to Canada."
"Okay, sir," he says, and I hang up, send a message to notify my secretary, and ask her to send a car to pick me up at the airstrip.
**At the moment...**
As soon as I arrive, there is already a car waiting for me. Then we headed to Niagara Falls. He parks at the spot, and I get out going to where Kim told me they would be. I get closer and see everyone gathered together, excited. He is next to her. I don't know what happens, but I see Jullyete running scared and Lunna handing the urn to her mother's hand and running away. I go towards her, quickening my pace, but stop when Romolo comes out behind her, calling her. He runs to her, and then she goes back to her mother who is with the girls smiling. She takes the urn and throws in her grandmother's ashes. I admire the wind blowing her hair gently, and I watch her wipe her face.
I wanted so much to be able to be close to her, to be able to comfort her and hug her... but he is right there next to her like a guard dog! I wanted to be there by her side, to show that I'm here for her, always have been and will be when she needs me.
"I'm here, Lunna, even if I can't be by your side, I'm here," I say, and she turns her head, as if she heard me."
