Chapter 76 Not if you claim her.
Beast
The woman wore me out. After she came apart in my hands, after our back-and-forth talking, after she laughed so hard at me she could not breathe, she got tired fast. I moved off of her and pulled the blankets up. I kicked off my boots, shrugged out of my vest, and lay down beside her. I held her with her head on my chest, running my fingers through her hair until she fell asleep.
My mind would not be still. Was I ready to have an Old Lady? Fucking the girls who hung around the club had gotten boring. Watching Viper and Torque with their women… it made me see things different. The idea of being with one woman forever did not disgust me anymore. I was starting to want it. So I thought, maybe Lia could be mine. I know I just met her. But she feels different from any other woman I have known.
I need to know more about where she came from. I just do not know how to do it. Should I have Catalina dig into her past? Or should I just start asking her questions? From the little bits she has shown me, from the things she has let slip, it is clear someone hurt her bad. This ex she talked about, he seems to be the one. But how much hurt did he give her? Was it with his hands? With his words? With how he made her feel? Jesus, was it worse than that?
She sighed in her sleep and I held her a little closer. She wanted the lights off. Did he tell her she was ugly? Does she not believe she is pretty? She is gorgeous. She has a mirror. There is no way she does not see how beautiful she is. But I know how women can be. Sometimes they cannot see what is right in front of them. I am going to make sure she knows how beautiful she is, every single day. Her body twitched and she let out a soft sound. I shushed her and rubbed her back. Then her leg came over mine, and I had to grit my teeth. I am not a man who says no to what he wants, but tonight was for her. I will take care of myself later.
I waited another half hour. Trying not to move her too much, I slowly laid her down on her back. I could not see much of her, just her shape in the dark. The light from the bathroom did not reach her bed. But I do not need to see her to know. She is it for me. No more club girls. If I am going to make her mine, I am going to show her she will be my one and only. I leaned down and brushed my lips against hers. She did not move at all. I had to smile, glad I wore her out. To think she never came before… it fucking blows my mind. But I feel a fierce pride that I was the first to give that to her.
I picked up my boots and my vest as quiet as I could and slipped out of her room. I shut the door without a sound. I walked into the living room and then I had to laugh at what I saw. Hex did not have a shirt on. His pants were around his ankles. His head was back against the couch and he was out cold. Owen’s head was in Hex’s lap, with Hex’s dick in his hand. He was holding it like it was a stuffed animal. I walked closer to wake Hex up and I saw come on Owen’s lips. Guess these two hit it off. Smiling, I tapped Hex on the forehead. His eyes popped open.
“Hey, Romeo. Meet me in the SUV. You and I need to talk.”
He gave me a thumbs up and lifted his head. I watched as he looked down at Owen and grinned. I shook my head, laughed quietly, and went outside. I opened the passenger door of the SUV and sat down to put my boots on. Hex came out five minutes later.
“One hell of a night,” Hex said.
I nodded as he got in and started the engine.
“So, you and Owen?” I asked.
“We definitely connected,” he said.
I could tell there was something else on his mind.
“But?”
“He has a sugar daddy.”
My head turned fast to look at him. The anger on his face was deep.
“How do you feel about that?”
“I mean, do I even have the right to be mad? We just met. We are not really together.”
“Do you want to be?”
“Yes. It is hard to find someone who fits when you are gay and live the life we live.”
“I know. So what are you going to do?”
“I told him to finish whatever he has going on this week. Then he needs to end it. For good.”
“How did he take that?”
“He looked at me like I was crazy. Then he asked why he should do that. This guy is married. There are no real feelings. It is just sex and the guy pays Owen’s rent. I told him he does not need that guy to pay his rent. I will take care of him.”
“Are you claiming him, Hex? You know if you do that, Owen has to move to the clubhouse. That leaves Lia here alone.”
“Not if you claim her. You seem to like her.”
