The Beta King

Tonight, everyone would attend my masquerade. I suppose they had no reason *not* to be at ease in my house. I wasn't going to kill them. Nor was I planning them any harm. Alphas, Betas, Deltas, Omegas, hell, even witches and vampires were invited to this event just to ensure that every adult over the age of twenty-two who was not mated would at least have a better chance of meeting their mate. Wearing a mask, I greeted them with ease. Then I found her, my unexpected mate. "Don't fucking touch me!" she said, seeming to resist my approach. “Mate.” I look at her excitedly. "Don't step any closer to my fiancee," I got pissed off when I heard another guy call her his fiancée. I scoop her into my embrace, "Mine." Then she was stunned.
