Chapter 202 I Came Here To Gloat
While Victoria was taking a shower, Mark was playing with their little buns in their bedroom. They were giggling so hard. Victoria smiled when she heard laughter from the bedroom. She filled up the water in the bathtub, and then she walked out of the bedroom wearing a bath robe. She quickly dressed up in her pajamas. She took one of the framed photos and approached her husband. She carried her sons in her arms and said smiling sweetly, "Daddy, we are grateful to the Lord for blessing us with such a father. Please receive this gift as a token of our appreciation." Mark took the framed photo with both hands. When he saw the photo he was moved. In the photo he was carrying his little dumplings with a bright smile on his face. He took his sons from his wife's arms and said with a shaking voice, "thank you my beautiful wife, I don't have enough words to thank you. My lovely wife, you made me the happiest man on earth. Before I met you, I never knew what happiness is. I am so glad that you are mine. You are my treasure." He kissed his wife and his cute sons.
The following day, the Anthony family and Mr Lewis went to church. Pastor Basil was overjoyed when he saw them. Since the dedication ceremony, the Anthony, the Lewis and the White family never missed the church service. After church, Grandma White invited the Anthony family and Mr Lewis for lunch. Since they didn't have any prior arrangements, they agreed. A few minutes later, someone from His Glory hotel delivered the food. After lunch, Zion said smiling, " We have great news that we would like to share with our family. We are pregnant." Everyone was so happy. Uncle Lewis said, "Congratulations Grandma White for being a great grandmother." Grandma White was so happy she was grinning from ear to ear. Yesterday morning after Zion went to work, Tamara was preparing breakfast for her grandmother. Suddenly she felt dizzy. Grandma White was so scared, she quickly called an ambulance, and then she took her daughter-in-law to the hospital. Dr Cain conducted blood tests. While he was waiting for the test results, he conducted an ultrasound. The results showed that Tamara was two months pregnant. Grandma White couldn't contain her happiness. She was over the moon. She wanted to share the good news over the phone but Tamara suggested that she should invite the Anthony and Lewis family over for lunch. She wanted to shout from the rooftops. The Lord had turned around the White family's fate the day his grandson was selected for sponsorship. Her grandson was abandoned by his parents at a young age but he became so outstanding. Even his father was envious of him. He wanted to recognize him but it was too late. She had tears in her eyes and said, "thank you Mr Lewis, the Lord has been faithful to the White family. I can't wait to hold my great grandchild in my arms. I am so proud of my Tamara." Uncle Timothy hugged Zion and kissed Tamara and said, "Congratulations my son and my daughter, the Lord is good." Mark and Victoria were so happy for them.
Elsewhere, Rosemary Johnson received a call from the security guard; he indicated that he had arranged for the prison warden to meet with her anytime when she was available. Rosemary was overjoyed; she quickly told the security guard that she would like to meet the prison warden at 1 pm at the Café near the prison. Rosemary arrived at the Café at 12:50. Fortunately, Wayne Saunders was already there drinking coffee. At that moment, Rosemary received Wayne Saunders's photo from the security guard. She looked at the photo, then she looked around and she saw a young man sitting quietly drinking coffee. She approached him smiling and asked, "Hello young man, I am Rosemary Johnson. How are you doing?" Wayne Saunders stood up and shook her hand. He smiled back at her and replied, "Hello Madam, my name is Wayne Saunders. My uncle asked me to meet with you regarding your daughter, Serene Logan. Please sit down." Rosemary smiled and said, "Mr Saunders, actually Serene is my daughter-in-law. She killed my grandson. As a result, I lost my husband and my son. They are blaming me for pampering Serene too much. I want to take revenge on her and I am prepared to pay a lot of money to make her life miserable." Wayne was aware of Mrs Johnson's status since he attended Serene Logan's case. During the case, he felt that Rosemary Johnson had a hand in her grandchild's death.
He looked at her and said, "Madam, I am so sorry that you lost your family. What do you like me to do for you?" Rosemary took two envelopes and said, "I heard that Beauty is bullying Serene in prison. I want you to give Beauty some money and ask her to torture Serene, but she mustn't kill her. I want her to lose a limb. If Beauty agrees to help me, I promise to give her half a million rand for her hard work. If you succeed, I will give you two hundred thousand rand." When Wayne looked at Rosemary he saw viciousness in her eyes. He was really scared of her but he promised to speak to Beauty. Rosemary gave him an envelope with Beauty's name. Wayne took the envelope and said, "Madam, please wait for my good news." Then they left the Café separately. Mrs Johnson went to see the security guard and gave him one hundred thousand rand. He was over the moon.
Wayne didn't waste time. He went to Beauty's cell. He approached her smiling and said, "Beautiful lady, may I have a word with you?" Beauty smiled and replied, "Handsome young man, the biscuits that you bought for me are finished. When are you going to bring more biscuits?" Wayne smiled and gave her a pocket of biscuit. Beauty smiled brightly and said, "You are such a sweetheart. I heard that you were off today. Why are you here?" Wayne gave her an envelope and a pen recorder. Beauty opened the envelope; she was shocked when she saw so much money. She looked at Wayne and asked, "Who gave you this money?" Wayne replied, "Serene Logan's mother-in-law. Please listen to the recorder and tell me your decision." Beauty listened to the recording and she felt that Mrs Johnson deserved every pain she received. She overheard Serene talking to Mrs Grace Anthony about Mrs Johnson. They were laughing at Mrs Johnson's ill-treatment towards Victoria and how she embarrassed her husband during her baby shower. Beauty didn't like someone who bullied the weak. So, she didn't like Mrs Johnson, but she hated Serene Logan more. She was arrogant and looking down on other people. A few minutes later, she called Wayne and agreed. He quickly called Mrs Johnson and said, "Madam, Beauty has agreed to help you." Mrs Johnson was over the moon. From that day, Serene Logan was tortured beyond recognition. She even lost her arm. When Mrs Johnson heard the news she went to the hospital to see her. For the first time, Serene regretted her decision to kill her son and asked for forgiveness from Mrs Johnson. She cried and asked Mrs Johnson to move her to another cell. She heard that Sandra's family had arranged people to protect Sandra and her heart was bitter. Mrs Johnson laughed out loud and replied, "Serene, there is no need to ask me because I arranged Beauty to deal with you. I came here to gloat. I lost my husband and my son because of you. For that I will never forgive you." Serene was so dumbfounded she wished that she could die and joined her parents. Mrs Johnson left the hospital in high spirits. She went to the Café near the hospital to meet with Wayne. She smiled brightly at him and said, "I am satisfied with Beauty." Then she gave him two hundred thousand rand as promised.
