Naked

Naked
The rest of our ride to our destination was peaceful, with Deimos humming softly finally truly enjoying the drive and with our male perched happily on my lap relishing his success. It was a short ride, we could have travelled by foot in Kal's absence. But it was amusing how we rode downhill and then took a trail back uphill. Our male truly enjoyed it giggling with glee filled with enthusiasm, he adored the scenery and the different colours that struck him.

Whilst Deimos parks by the open ground I unfasten my seatbelt and wipe the drool that makes its sticky path down Kal's chin with a soft towel. "Content now that you have acquired what you have wished, my male?" I question fingers tickling his belly whilst he bounces on his bum upon my lap.

Deimos removes the key from the ignition a small gentle glance he gives his male. "I told you, my female. He shall beckon you always, you are his mother after all."

"Rather only when he wishes to get something done for him." A flash of fang I offer the little one with a low vibrating growl from deep within my chest. Kal startles and flinches at my antics. We wait patiently for what he might do. He merely peers up at his father with his innocent large greens and then peeps back at me with slow movements he crawls up my lap to lay his head delicately on my chest cuddling in, he settles. He feels feeble tension this is his way of comfort.

"No, because he needs you." Deimos murmurs as he exits the car and I follow closely behind carrying our male whose eyes wander around taking in all that his senses are overwhelmed with.

He picks up the bouquet from the back and seals back the tailgate of the truck. "Ready?" He questions, there is a feeling of uneasiness within him yet he fights it for he believes that all shall be well.

"Ready." I answer back with an unhesitant determination that bounds me. This is finally happening, we had been putting it off for so long yet now seems to be a perfect time. For now, we can truly declare ourselves as a family.

Gathering my hand in his he guides me through a track free of grass and weeds only a stone path lays. "We must climb a little, shall I carry him?"

"No, it is alright. I can manage. Are you nervous?" I inquire to Deimos who is keenly watching my steps guarding me, making sure I do not trip or fall.

"A little." He utters gripping my hand tighter weaving through the path taking me through in a way that shall be easier for me.

"Don't be. We are here with you, are we not?"

"Of course, that is why I said 'little' my female. If you were not present I would have perhaps taken further time to do it. You give me strength." He says whilst offering me an affectionate smile.

He climbs the final step first turning around bending down he helps me up, my eyes find a closed space with two tombstones that lay side by side in the middle. It is placed within a circle formed by thick tall trees. The tombs are clean and look anew, with no signs of vines or moss. Deimos must send our wolves to take care of his parents all the time.

He strides towards them with weakness, steps strained and he falters at times. But his eyes are strong and he carries himself with pride. Pride of his blessings. I follow behind him whilst trying to control the little one who wishes to be set free, he adores fresh pastures. He loves playing upon them rolling in the dirt is something he can never get enough of.

As I stand beside him I read their names aloud. "Alpha Ares. Luna Aphrodite." They possess beautiful names, I wonder how they looked like. I only get glimpses of them with what Deimos tells me yet it would have been wonderful to meet them in person.

He clears his throat nervousness floods him and I clutch his hand tighter squeezing it, a show of my strength that I willingly give to him. Breathtakingly gleaming emeralds meet mine and he delivers to me a delicate smile of gratefulness.

"Father. Mother." He begins bowing lowly to them showing his respect. "Forgive me for my tardiness to our meeting, I apologize for making you both wait. I...I was unprepared to face you both, I found myself to be unworthy to speak with you. I thought I did not grow to be the male you wished for me to be. I never desired to return here to come to see you two. But she came into my life and she made me want to. Come, meet my female." There is a formality in the way he speaks to them, he is different less of his true self. Had he not spoken to his parents all those years after their death?

His palm briskly places itself on my lower back pushing me slowly towards the tombstones. "It is a pleasure to finally meet you both." I declare with a quick bow towards them. "My name is Lumina, your male named me."

"Indeed I did. I found a female just as how mother was to you, father. A light in my darkness." He mutters his eyes smiling with him whilst he admires me. "She is just like you, mother fierce stubborn and strong. She adores flowers as you did, she reminds me of you in every way. She holds pieces of you in her. I feel at peace when she is with me." He speaks, voice low and smooth. I see the way he regards her tomb, the way he interacts with her. He truly loves her.

"Kal, stop it." I hiss to our male as he pulls on the strands of my hair pulling it down thrusting it in his mouth.

Deimos chuckles softly taking Kal from me setting him over his hip. "And this naughty one is Kal." He kneels upon the grass floor carrying Kal closer to the tombs. "He is our male, going to become a one-year-old soon. Father, look at me. I am a father now. I looked up to you and respected you whilst I was young but I do not wish to possess the relationship we had with my male. I want to love him, for who he is and not for whom he should be. Perhaps you are proud of me, perhaps you aren't. But I am happy. I have my family and that is all that matters to me."

I kneel next to him nudging him with my cheek as he gathers me into his arms nose tucked into the side of my neck. He pulls in my scent and the beats of his heart calm, his inner storm breathes. "Our pack has changed. Not for worse but for better. I wish for my male to have a better life than I did. For my female to not be oppressed by my ways like mother was. I merely wish our pack to always be a place of peace. I have a different duty now, more than being worthy in the eyes of my pack. My duty is to my family."

"We will make sure to protect and honour the pack, we shall make sure your presence is always felt by our wolves. Your ways shall not be destroyed and your traditions that bring forth love and comfort shall be illuminated. We will do it. Together." I declare my tone strong and unwavering.

"Together." Deimos nods placing his forehead upon mine, eyes closed we indulge in the overwhelming feeling of a sudden presence that catches us by surprise. A soothing presence as if the three of us were being closely held. We feel it, that feeling of being welcomed. Their souls have come to show us their happiness.

A violent sudden breeze makes its way within the area, leaves break from trees to float through the air making its straight path to us brushing past our flesh gently. The trees rustle and dance to the music of the powerful wild wind. Kal springs up capturing a leaf that sways with purpose towards him, he brings it to his nose sniffing it peering at it with wonder. This leaf is for him, a gift given to him by his grandparents. The fruit of nature.

"They love you, Deimos." I whisper placing my lips lightly over his mark. I offer comfort to a male who had to lose his loved ones at a tender age, to a male with his insecurities.

"I know. I know." He utters his eyes wet as he opens them to meet mine. He peers up at the sky and he sends them a tender smile of delight. Their presence that cocoon us, their adoration for him cannot be put into words. They were waiting, they were yearning for their male to come to see them. Deimos and his parents shall finally be at peace.

Our meeting with his parents went better than we had anticipated, we wished they would show their presence but we did not expect it for it was up to nature to decide. Nature gives life and it takes it back as it pleases, therefore it allowed them their wish to gift Kal and us.

We spent time by the tombstones until the sun bled and darkness took over. Deimos had a wonderful time speaking of our meeting and our growth over the past years. Kal had his fun climbing over the tombstones, crawling from Deimos's father to his mother back and forth over and over.

No pain or sadness captured us only laughter and peace. He spoke everything he had kept deep in fear to share, he cleared his heart completely until he had none to say. He spoke and spoke until only silence was left to take control.

Before we left Deimos placed the bouquet on his mother's tomb promising he will visit again every year along with Kal and me. I knew that this promise he shall hold dear to him for things are different now. He is not alone anymore but he has his biggest supporters. Kal and me.

"Elriam, can you hold onto Kal. My bladder feels as though it is about to burst." I chuckle as I rush towards my house eager to ease the tension of my core.

"Of course, Alpha." She is startled by my suddenness yet quickly grabs him from my arms following closely behind.

"How was your meeting with his parents?" Elriam queries softly from behind me.

"It was beautiful, Elriam. They came to see us as well, their aura was powerful yet welcoming and comforting. I am glad Deimos got his closure." I reply. It is natural for wolves who are with the moon to come to visit when their loved ones are near to where they lay.

"What is this leaf that Kal possesses?" She inquires with confusion.

"It is a gift from his grandparents." I answer whilst savouring the feeling of release. I had controlled it the entire day, did not wish to dirty the place by peeing on their land where their bodies rest.

"Shall I put it by his crib?"

"That would be wonderful. Thank you, Elriam. Has the pack settled for dinner?" I question whilst washing my face with warm water, tiredness was quick to take over my flesh. Today was a day well spent as a family.

"Yes. I came to fetch Alpha Deimos and you." She replies, the sound of her feet padding towards Kal's crib reaches my ears as I pull open the door and peer at her. "I must go to the castle and bring Alpha."

"He was on a call with Phobos. There is a chance he has already arrived there, which means we must hurry. The pups must be moaning with hunger by now. I changed Kal in the car so he is clean." A low sigh of relief passes through my lips. Knowing that Deimos's soul is finally at rest brings the same feeling for me as well.

"Yes, Alpha." She bows adhering to my words.

Sauntering into the noisy dining hall has my females rise from my table to embrace my arrival. They are delighted that I had finally gotten to introduce myself to the previous Alpha and Luna. It is a good occasion, therefore, they had cooked an enormous feast to celebrate. They have enhanced the table I built with scented candles and dishes I adore. My seat is wrapped with red silk a sign of victory and peace.

Kal remains calmly upon my hip sucking on his thumb eyes seeking for his father just like mine are. Deimos rests by his table far from mine and as always he offers me a beaming smile and a brief nod waiting patiently for me to take my seat. It is as though he is questioning me if I like it in terms of how my table looks.

"Alpha Deimos arranged this. He instructed us to decorate your table and serve your favourite dishes for today was a good occasion." One of my female's whispers by my side.

"Did he now?" I ask with a chortle meeting his confused emeralds as he regards me with a frown and tilt of his head. The empty cold seat to his right beckons me, to be filled with my warmth. Vines from the seat emerge crawling towards me wrapping around my flesh propelling me towards it.

"Kal what do you say we go sit with papa from today? Would you like that?" I propose murmuring into his ear as he grins widely with glee. I have my answer.

Taking a heavy inward breath with one final glance at my table that I had built to deprive myself of his soul I stride with courage to where he sits. The pack is swift to stop their chatter curious eyes watch with anticipation of my antics, they stand and make way for me to fill my rightful place. It would be quite the sight to see, a queen walking to her throne.

Deimos's eyes widen as he gawks puzzled at my emerging closeness to him. The air within the room manifests from a strikingly cold one to rumbling unbearable heat. A welcoming heat, one that keeps warm not burns.

Each steady step I take towards his direction has him rise rapidly chair screeching rearward upon the tiles, he understands the meaning of my action yet he refuses to believe it is happening. He refuses to see the truth that unfolds in front of his eyes.

Pulling back the chair at his right that had always been pushed in never touched, never occupied I finally take my seat. There is this power that surges from within the seat that strikes into the core of my heart. It isn't familiarity rather a feeling of belongingness. A feeling of home.

He sits down gradually, unbelieving that his imagination had taken its true form. Innocently wide emeralds regard me as I scan through the dishes placed on his table. It is a mixture, some are of what he prefers and others are what I like.

"Papa." Kal babbles naturally drifting towards his father raising his hands asking to be held. Our male is content for this is the very first time he is sitting with both his father and me by the table.

"These dishes smell heavenly, do they not Deimos?" I do not ask him as an Alpha male but as my mate, as Kal's father. The crucial wolf of my family. He is unable to answer, for he fights to breathe.

Cutting up a few slices of steaming meat I place it on his empty plate. My females begin to cry low wails erupt from the back of the room. My action was a sign of my acceptance of him, of his worthiness to be fed by me.

"Is this not your favourite? Here take more." I mutter whilst slicing up more pieces to set them upon his plate. His eyes gape at the meat and he peers back at me as I wait patiently for him to take his first bite. "Are you not going to eat?" I query with a warm smile, my eyes sink into his bare soul. There is a shift within him from emptiness to becoming whole.

He gives me a slow hesitant nod as he plunges the trembling fork into the tender flesh and puts it into his mouth. Whilst he swallows I see the Alpha male manifest to an innocent pup who had always unknowingly yearned for one thing in his life. To be loved.

Deimos sits by my side battling with his struggle to swallow down the emotions that drown him. He sits by my side with the entirety of his being trembling and breaking apart for all eyes to see, with his heart and soul stripped off any barriers and walls by my presence.

Deimos sits by my side, naked.
